Our Company Encyclopedia: Organized Channels and Quick, Easy Search

It essentially acts as our company “encyclopedia”! There’s a wealth of information stored in channels that are easy to view, well organized, and simple to search when you need to find something quickly.

Intuitive and Versatile for Personal Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion very intuitive and easy to use. It has every tool and feature for productivity and organizing space. The AI feature within Notion is quite beneficial as it helps me discover the many ways I can use Notion. I often ask the AI if I can do something in Notion, and it not only does it for me but also explains how I can do it myself. I use Notion to track activities, workouts, break down big tasks, find time to work on them, and set goals. It's handy for organizing everything I need to get done and even for leaving notes and journaling. It's a good product that I realized the value of once I got the hang of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think maybe tutorials on when new things are added or how to use it. Like, I don't know if there's a space within Notion that shows users how to use Notion. For example, it took me a while when I was a new user to figure things out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track activities, workouts, break down big tasks, organize my week, and set financial goals. It's intuitive, easy to use, and helps me organize everything effectively.
Effortless Knowledge Management with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for a customer knowledge base, and I really like how it keeps all information in one source of truth, which makes sharing content with customers easy. I appreciate the ease of use and the supported functionalities. The block-based editing system is simple to use and allows me to build and reorganize content without needing technical skills. I can quickly turn a page into documentation, a task tracker, or a database depending on my needs. The pages are easy to nest and structure. Creating tables, boards, timelines, and lists from the same dataset is a breeze and helps me manage projects and information in different ways according to the workflow. The filtered views keep information organized without duplication, and I love that there's no complex setup or training required. The initial setup of Notion was super easy, and I'd give it a 10 out of 10 for recommending it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workplaces can easily get disorganized, and it would be great to gate content from other users.

I love Notion because it helps me have all of my information saved in one place for school notes, work, and personal projects that I am working on. I love how it can take lecture notes and the AI aspect can quiz me.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that is kind of difficult for me is setting up my own Notion pages. There is so much to do that it can get a little complicated trying to learn everything. I am also having issues making an agent to automate tasks for me, but this may be user error on my part
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving issues of having note taking, project management, and certain AI solutions all in one basic place and it is easy to access everything I need within one app. I love that it is able to study my notes and make quizzes or explain things for me using the Notion AI aspect.

Organizational Powerhouse with Pricey AI
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to manage my personal training business, and it's great for keeping all of my client information organized through athlete profiles. I like using the AI assistant because it helps me transcribe and update profiles easily as we go, saving me a lot of time. The format of Notion lets me sort everything nicely, and I appreciate how it keeps things organized with tabs and subfolders, allowing me to handle a lot of information smoothly. The AI writing assistant is particularly impressive; it automatically fills in information as I speak, so I don’t have to type everything out myself. It edits everything as I want, which makes my work quicker and less demanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it's $40 a month just to use the AI in Notion. It almost makes you consider other options because it's quite expensive. Other than that, there isn't much I dislike; it's a pretty good program. Also, the formatting is a little more challenging for me. Like, how things open new tabs isn't the most user-friendly right out of the gate. Sometimes you're trying to do it yourself, and then you end up opening blank pages, and it's like, what happened? Where did I go?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize and store client information in a personalized way, making management more efficient. The AI assistant speeds up tasks by auto-filling information and editing content, saving me time on typing and organizing data.
User-Friendly One-Stop Shop for Docs, Tasks, Projects, and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
One stop shop for all documentation, task management, projects, and team collaboration! I love how user friendly it is!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a bit of time to learn all the different nuances in Notion, but the AI tools—like the AI Writing Assistant or Enterprise Search—make it a lot easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of information and work being scattered across too many places. Instead of knowledge living in Slack threads, Google Docs, spreadsheets, and people’s heads, Notion brings documentation, notes, project tracking, and databases into one workspace. This helps teams create a shared source of truth, capture institutional knowledge, and make work more transparent and searchable. At its core, Notion reduces context switching and helps individuals and teams organize information, decisions, and projects in a structured way so important context doesn’t get lost.
Limited Usefulness for Specific Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I did enjoy that when the AI component was 'thinking' it showed its thought process, and they gave an answer. That was a nice additional feature/glimpse into the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion did not solve the main issue I was hoping for, which is creating a dynamic script for my dispatch team when they receive calls about repair and maintenance needs. I couldn't see what Notion was doing that something free like Google Gemini wasn't already doing. I share documents through Google Suite and don't see the need to create them elsewhere first. Notion did not bring any value or save time in my workflow. Once I understood that my specific project couldn't be achieved with Notion, I gave up on the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion didn't solve my main issue of creating a dynamic script for my dispatch team, and it didn't bring value or save time in my workflow.
