Effective Organization but Lack of Fluidity in Formats
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion as a documentation tool for work. It helps keep documentation organized and makes it easier to search through all connected documentation sources, including Slack. Additionally, I love its minimalist design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keyboard shortcuts. When writing, it becomes very annoying for me to have to click to select the format. Something like writing in MD would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep organized documentation and search through all connected documentation sources, including Slack.
Powerful Collaboration, Needs Simpler Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface and I love the databases in Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to use the templates effectively. Notion is almost so advanced that I'm not sure of all the capabilities to help automate my workflows. I wish there were easier templates or tutorials that could help set up shortcuts automatically.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for many aspects such as life, creative work, planning, and writing. It solves the need for a clean, easy-to-intake tool that allows my mind to scatter in complex directions. It serves well in writing, organizing, and tracking execution, which is vital to me. I like the clean design and the ease of building interconnections and structures. I appreciate being able to hone the workspace from scratch to what my own mind needs. It works very well as a large-scale tool with focused attention for specific pieces. Setting it up was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think momentary action, speed of recording could be improved. It is harder to use in a snappy way, or for immediate list. The mobile app needs work to refine this workflow, to be easier. I think the formatting options could be expanded a little to accommodate different kinds of brains and attentions too.

Sometimes I feel like finding the right kind of format for my notes is a struggle, but for the most part I feel like that's a user issue not an app issue.

When all team members have the ability to create Notion pages it makes it difficult to keep track of what is up to date or outdated.
