Versatile but Limited in Handling Heavy Workloads

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can track client projects and invoices on one board with Notion. Having everything connected in one workspace, rather than separated spreadsheets for clients, tasks, and invoices, is a big plus for me. I find the flexibility in note-taking, project, and task management very helpful. The built-in AI is also useful for writing and organizing content. The initial setup was very easy, which made the transition smooth for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not useful for heavy workload
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me with flexible note-taking, managing projects and tasks, structuring notes with built-in AI, and organizing everything in one workspace for client projects and invoices.

Flexible Structure with Nested Pages and Snapshots for Effortless Tracking

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible structure — you can have a database, inline databases, and freeform pages all in one place. The ability to nest pages and keep historical snapshots (like the weekly readouts) without a separate
archiving system is genuinely useful for operational tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
The API/automation story requires too much manual setup. Today alone we had to auth MCPs twice, deal with token expiry, and the claude.ai connector list didn't update in real time. For a tool that
markets itself as automation-friendly, the friction is high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing exec-facing readouts that would otherwise live in scattered Slack threads or Google Docs. Having a single URL to point leadership to instead of forwarding Slack messages every week.

Central Knowledge Hub, Easy to Use

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's clean and clear look. The AI search function is great and makes it easy to find information. I find it easy to use and update when needed. I like how well it works with ChatGPT, especially since it can create Notion-ready SOPs that I can easily drop into Notion. I also like that it's integrated with Slack. The initial setup of Notion was easy, which was a big plus for getting started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting staff buy-in and getting all teams in the company to use it regularly & efficiently. Training staff on how to use all of the features & get the best out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize information, improve visibility, and it solves the issue of information being stored by individuals. It houses SOPs, training documents, and helps track and monitor projects and tasks.

Flexible Yet Challenging: Great for Dashboards, Steep Learning Curve

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of Notion and its integration capabilities. It's helping me create a balance between life and work using dashboards. I can manage my two startup businesses from a single platform, acting as a command center for client pipelines, marketing, and sharing information layers with potential members while keeping certain things private. I really appreciate being able to do all of this from one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still just a bit overwhelmed with the tool and how to use it. I wish it felt more intuitive where I had drop down menus to kinda create the dashboard. Like, if there was a Canva interface for it for my aesthetics. If there were options to have a one-on-one tutorial kind of thing so someone could walk me through what I've created, if my databases are set up correct, that kind of thing. Right now, I find myself looking in the marketplace or looking for freelancers that I could pay for an hour or two just to give that support. I'm still setting it up. It's a little difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for note-taking in meetings and creating life and business dashboards, helping me maintain balance and manage my startups from one platform.

Customizable Platform that Centralizes Our Workflow

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the customizability of Notion because it allows us to configure the platform to work best for us, even down to individual departments and employees. We use Notion to centralize our documentation, streamlining our processes by building a database that brings all items under one platform. The initial setup was very easy, especially with access to templates and AI. We also have Slack integrated and use other AI tools to help us build within Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some more integrations would be nice, specifically with Zapier to automate more items. Just more functionality with Zapier would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize our documentation, which solves the problem of finding items across platforms. It streamlines our processes by building a database to manage information and processes in one place.

Centralized Info, But Loose Templates Make Details Hard to Find and Maintain

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that information can be centralized in one place. What I don’t love is that it can be hard to find certain details, since it feels more like a notebook style setup rather than having a clear home dashboard. I also find it difficult to update things and keep everything up to date because the template is pretty loose, and I think it would be helpful to have reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the templates feel kind of loose, and I have to come up with my own way to store information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of storing information and processes.

Flexible Yet Sometimes Redundant

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion because it's very flexible. It lets you build on top of things and you can really personalize it a lot. I also appreciate how it allows me to automate tasks. I love it enough to rate it a 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot of redundancy and repetition, especially when creating a database because it has all of the steps or parts in a single page. It would be nice if it was a little bit more succinct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for project management and as a knowledge base. It helps me find information easily and collaborate better with teammates.

Endlessly Customizable Workspace That Keeps Work and Life in One Place

  • April 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like most about Notion is how customizable it is. I can literally create, from a personal notebook to a full CRM system, inside the same workspace. The block style lets us create simple, ready-to-use databases or complex ones. You can literally build anything you can imagine with Notion.

The interface is easy to use, and you can learn how to set up your workspace in minutes. It is fast and reliable and can be integrated with all tools. Personally, I integrate with Drive, GitHub, and calendar most of the time, and also attach some tweets and PDFs to my pages too.

And when connected with Notion AI, it gets a lot easier to connect the dots on the knowledge in my second brain folder.

I use a lot for both work and personal life. I manage my files, projects, second brain, tasks, literally everything lives there. The only limit with Notion is your imagination and creativity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that bores me is that it's hard to manage subtasks. I think if it had a dedicated subtasks block, it could be better. But overall, the databases can do a good job. But still misses some points when you have to link lots of tasks to one another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to keep my data fully organized and take good care of my notes and files. It organizes my entire life, fast, easy, and reliably. I used to have 3 apps to manage all, but now it only needs Notion.

It handles my notes, helps me capture my insights and organize them into pages and databases, and I even created a browser extension to help me send my book highlights/notes to Notion so I can have everything I need on the best app I've ever found. It's my daily copilot.

Streamlined Meetings with Some AI Hiccups

  • April 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion for managing my consulting business and recording meetings. It helps me by providing a full transcript of meetings, so I don't miss anything. I also appreciate the simple user interface which makes it easy to organize myself. The AI chatbot is great for getting quick answers to my questions, and I find the AI summaries to be really useful, despite some issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI summaries often get the names wrong, even me who is always on the meetings. I wish I could update names and regenerate the summary. Again, it auto-assigns names but there is always at least one wrong so I can't send out the summary without manual cleanup. A bit hard, it seems like a blank page and I didn't understand how to organize things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I record long complex meetings with Notion, ensuring I miss nothing. The simple interface helps me organize, and the AI chatbot answers questions quickly. Full transcripts and useful AI summaries enhance meeting management, although name accuracy could improve.
