What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for meeting notes and summaries for project management. It helps cut out so much time for my post-meeting to-dos and provides a thorough recap of the meeting. I really like the ease of use. The specific features I find valuable are the meeting transcripts and summaries because they are easy to use and very thorough. The initial setup of Notion was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Versatile Project Management with Notion AI

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the Notion AI feature, especially during our annual and quarterly reviews. It lets me search for specific data by talking to Notion AI, which is super handy. Notion’s connectors for Slack and GitHub, among other sources, allow me to gather all the information I need in a single place. This integration helps me manage tasks like solving customer problems and development work easily. Notion has been a great teacher in terms of working with documentation, and I find its setup quite easy. There's also a Teams DB that helps us organize documents, making them easy to search. We also have a home page for our team in Notion that lists ongoing projects, making it easy to track them. I feel that Notion acts as a project management solution for us, sometimes even replacing Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Notion AI is great at searching the content, but there is still a scope for improvement. Specifically, when I wanted reviews from the past one year, it also looked up some information beyond one year. It should stick strictly to the specified time frame, like the last 365 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize documentation and engineering designs, classify projects by teams, and track timelines. Notion AI helps retrieve information from Slack and GitHub for reviews, making it easy to compile achievements. It also acts as a project management tool, replacing Jira.

Revolutionized Our Legal Operations with Intuitive AI

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion incredibly organized and very intuitive, which makes it very easy to use. It significantly increases our efficiency. The AI feature is beyond incredible, allowing us to easily upload documents and then retrieve deadlines and important points. It summarizes this information for us and puts it into different databases, streamlining our processes. The initial setup of Notion was incredibly easy and user-friendly, with the AI features providing significant help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dates and time stamps are really irritating because they use a UTD standard instead of converting into my own time zone. It always defaults back to the UTD.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for docket and deadline management, and it helps keep track of client matters efficiently. It's incredibly organized, intuitive, and easy to use. Its AI feature retrieves deadlines and important points from documents, summarizes them, and adds them to databases, significantly increasing our efficiency.

Ultimate Goal-Tracking & Organization Tool

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate most that Notion is customizable and is, like, a Google Doc on steroids, where everything can break out into its own document. I get to kind of expand upon my ideas in a kind of, like, chaotic, but still extremely organized way. I can basically nest all my materials and ideas and conceive where they all are, so everything stays in one place rather than being in different notebooks and journals and different documents. They all automatically nest under each other, and I think that is perfect for staying organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Notion could be better organized for more aesthetics. More fonts (within reason), colors (like creating a brand colors palette) and formatting customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track progress, keep my ideas organized, and create databases for easy information retrieval.

Flexible But Hard to Master

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how quick it is to put a page together with multimodal content. I can do extemporaneous notes, a table, and even insert a video. I can nest a page within a page and backlink. I like the utility. I like the presentation; it's clean, mostly linear, and text-based. It's not complicated by boxes, image-heavy pages, or design elements that require more setup and create visual noise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is challenging, and I find that after building a variety of pages and databases, I often can't see where they are. There needs to be some sort of a global view beyond the existing search to give me an idea of what I have and where it is. I know it's not designed to be a nested file structure, but there's got to be an organizational spine that runs through it, so I'm not losing information, disconnecting chains of thought, or forgetting where I put stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a central repository for ideas, notes, and projects, helping organize data from multiple sources. It's a flexible organizational structure serving as an intermediary between different data points.

User-Friendly, Flexible, and Beautifully Designed Organization Tool

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly and visually pleasing Notion is. It is such a flexible organizational tool that helps me stay dynamic in managing my accounts and book of business, and it is super easy to implement, manipulate, and adjust!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the sharing capabilities. I only use Notion for myself, but if I wnated to share it with one colleague, I would need to upgrade, and I have recieved confusion feedback and what can and cannot be viewed and shared in Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping and maintaining a database of my accounts, each with tons of small details to manage. Notion is helping me stay super informed, flexible. I can easily filter through columns to get a quick insight into information. I manage all of my notetaking and account details with ease.

Notion’s use in project management

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Integration of several different features that’s help support a second brain structure, such as links tables, pages, table of content, databases etc
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to further integrate apps we already use such as Google Sheets & be able to edit it all in the notion app. Of have an edit on Google Sheets be reflected in notion.

For example, if we already have financial sheets and budgets on Google Sheets , I would like it to be seamless to see changes in the budget calculation in a motion page which may be a summarize page of our finances.

I wish there was an easier way to have a template load for a page that has a full task database which is connected to the tasks listed under databases. I use databases with each page having its own tasks. But it’ll also be helpful to have the whole tasks checklist visible on the main page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Databases help organize projects with their sub tasks. It also helps us organize clients we have by creating a profile of them with statuses of their membership to our facility

A True All-in-One Workspace: Flexible Databases, Notes, and Powerful AI

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion is a true 'all-in-one' workspace (since everything in our company is in Notion). The ability to combine complex databases with simple note-taking and powerful AI features makes it the most flexible tool I’ve used. It helps me brainstorm, summarise, and draft content directly within my workspace without switching tabs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the mobile app experience isn't quite as fluid or intuitive as the desktop version, but I prefer using the desktop anyway. Sometimes, but very rare, the platform can occasionally feel slow to load when pages become very large or contain many databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a CSM, Notion solves the major problem of information silos. By syncing data from Linear and Slack, it acts as a single source of truth for all my product-related questions. Instead of wasting time hunting through endless Slack threads or technical tickets to answer a client, I can use Notion AI to quickly query that integrated data. This benefits me by dramatically reducing response times and allowing me to stay in one workspace to get the technical context I need to support my customers effectively.

Easy Setup, Great AI Tools, Needs Better Collaboration

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to keep track of my tasks and resources for the company, and I appreciate how easy it is to find the resources I need using the AI tool. It really solves my problems with time, organization, and efficiency. I like its simplicity and easy user interface, which didn't require any training. It just took me a day or two to fully understand the app by playing around with it. The best part is the AI functionality, which helps me find documents and tables quickly and even create schedules based on what I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would definitely see collaborating with different team members. It's not difficult, but it could definitely be more streamlined. Just collaboration with different teams being able to share different documents, making it easier. Yeah. Like, for example, if I find a document and I quickly wanna add my team member or, like, a certain group of people, I would wanna do that easily. Right now, it's not a streamline. So, yeah, that's what I would change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me save time, solve organization problems, and increase efficiency.

Notion’s Linked Databases and API Made My Project Management System Click

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to build exactly the project management system I need. I run 6+ active development projects with different collaborators, and Notion lets me create linked databases for Projects, Sprints, Tasks, OKRs, and Meeting Notes that all reference each other. The relation properties are incredibly powerful - I can see all tasks linked to a sprint, all sprints linked to a project, and track progress across everything. The API and MCP integration with Claude has been a game-changer for automating session logging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can lag with large databases and complex views. When I have 50+ pages with multiple relations and rollups, switching between views takes noticeably longer. Also, the mobile app doesn't handle offline editing well - I've lost quick notes captured on my phone when sync failed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a solo developer managing multiple software projects simultaneously (trading platforms, game engines, coaching apps) with different collaborators on each. Before Notion, context was scattered across markdown files, GitHub issues, and my head. Now I have a single source of truth with linked Projects → Sprints → Tasks → Build Sessions. When I start a coding session, I can instantly see what I committed to, what's blocked, and what the priorities are. The searchable history means I never lose decisions or solutions from past sessions - I've recovered approaches from months ago that saved hours of re-work.
