Versatile Tool with Clean UI and Effective Meeting Capture
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion for its clean and simple interface, which makes it easy for me to manage various tasks efficiently. The ability to hook up to any database and track progress with updates, deadlines, and statuses is particularly impressive, helping me stay on top of customer interactions and project timelines. I am particularly impressed with the meeting minutes feature, which provides the best documentation I have experienced from any tool, thereby making it easier to revisit notes and create actionable to-do lists. Additionally, having the Notion app on my phone is incredibly convenient as it allows me to quickly access my to-do lists, activities, and calendar events on the go, seamlessly integrating with my calendar to ensure everything is synchronized perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like the Notion email feature. Although I attempted to use it and initially, it seemed to integrate fine with my Gmail, the synchronization posed issues, ultimately preventing me from using it effectively. I might need to check for a new update or explore this feature further, but as of now, it's not working for me. Additionally, the initial setup of Notion involved a learning curve. I had to watch several tutorials and YouTube videos to get accustomed to the system. However, once I understood it, the use became relatively straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion solves my meeting minutes challenges efficiently, offers a clean UI for quick access to my to-do list and activities, and integrates well with my calendar to track tasks and deadlines.
Excellent for Connecting Ideas and Boosting Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Good services and the ability to connect ideas together means it’s actually a useful product
What do you dislike about the product?
Horrendous image options, the LaTeX is terrible, and most of the inline options kill themselves too easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General organization of information and databases to update myself on information
It does the job but could have an easier interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ai feature to build out tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very intuitive. Using tables and databases are not intuitive to edit and the features i would expect do not exist. I personally would choose confluence or Google docs for ui. There are things I can create in confluence and docs that I cant adjust in notion. I can refine ui the way I would like and there aren't features that allow me to create special fields for tips and tricks. I know it is a powerful tool, but doesnt make the ui look clean.
The most difficult is understant the site architecture. I struggle to search for previously crafted pages and creating a knowledge base where things are easy to find seems impossible. I never know under which parent page i am creating a new page and its hard to know where a doc lives.

It helps with a knowledge base but we are still figuring it out.
Notion’s AI Features Revolutionize Organization and Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I recently signed up for the business plan after using it for personal use for a while. I have been using the AI Writing Assistant for meeting transcripts, notes, follow-ups, etc. I've also been using the AI features to create lists from the notes summarizing certain topics for future use. I love being able to organize my projects, education, tasks, and everything in my life with Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be a little steep at first, but there are many videos available and now AI can help answer questions too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note-taking for my meetings has been the biggest help! I love being able to really focus on the meeting and allowing the software to listen and summarize. It is also great that I can integrate it directly into the project without having to copy over from another software. It's all in one place!
Unmatched Customization That Fits All My Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customization and being able to really create whatever I want through the platform it fits all my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is very custom, I would say it lacks in creative and aesthetic customization features. I wish I could have custom fonts, colors, background pattern etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me centralize all of my social media clients into one place. It is a simple and effective way to share content ideas, calendars, and resources in a way that is easily accesible to my clients with program restrictions.

AI search makes it very easy to determine if there is a document on a topic and find the information I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered any downsides as a normal user of notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Other knowledge sites are not as easily searchable and collaborative.
Notion for University
What do you like best about the product?
The variability of what it can be used for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think at first it’s pretty confusing to learn about on your own. Making your own page can be difficult when first using the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI allows me to use my notes to answer questions I have about a problem. Notion itself allows me to stay very organized and on trackz
Packed with Features That Elevate Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
The vast amount of features, many of which I still haven't fully explored! The AI notetaking and writing assistant are so powerful. I also like the UI design.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit buggy. Pages jump around, dead zones on pages when trying to select pieces of text. It could be more intuative sometimes and share the same shortcuts as other applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My poor notetaking skills. The AI writing assistant and the AI notetaking feature for Zoom meetings are so valuable! I love the visual elements to Notion, like being able to use icons and different colours.
Notion's AI and Calendar Enhance Daily Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI meeting notes feature in Notion as it allows me to capture and elaborate on meeting details effortlessly, enhancing my organization and thought optimization. The ability to ask the AI to further elaborate on notes is something I find particularly beneficial, as it helps clarify ideas that I may not have fully formed on my own. Additionally, I am impressed with Notion's calendar functionality. The integration of task writing and optimization within the Notion calendar is a feature I really like, as it streamlines my scheduling and task management processes. These features contribute significantly to my daily use of Notion for organizing my life.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating that when I use Notion AI to enhance my thoughts, it posts below what I've already written instead of optimizing the existing text. I wish it could directly integrate improvements into the text I've written or use its AI capabilities to make the content more aesthetically pleasing, perhaps by adding color or enhancing its appearance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion consolidates my scattered notes, optimizing my thought process and task organization with AI-driven insights. It replaces numerous notebooks, enhancing productivity by fleshing out ideas and efficiently managing tasks via AI meeting notes and calendar features.
Flexible Tool, Notion Consolidates But Needs Better Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for its remarkable flexibility; it's incredibly versatile in handling various tasks as long as you can imagine it. This versatility is especially helpful because it means I don't have to juggle multiple software tools to accomplish my tasks; instead, I can consolidate everything within Notion itself. This makes my workflow more efficient by reducing the number of tools, which in turn eases my mental load. Additionally, Notion simplifies communication by providing easy access to documents, saving me time otherwise spent scrolling through endless messages in applications like Slack. It effectively allows for seamless sharing and referencing of information, making communication straightforward and efficient. Moreover, the initial setup of Notion was a breeze for me because of my previous personal use, which is a significant advantage for anyone familiar with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there's a lot of information sprawl in Notion. It's problematic when the same document or information is created multiple times, leading to redundancy. This makes it difficult to determine if any documentation already exists. There's a concern about repeating information and having old, outdated information that complicates finding current and relevant data. Also, many pages are created by people who might no longer be part of the organization, adding to the confusion about what's up-to-date. Moreover, although Notion is flexible, it's not as customizable as I would like, often requiring hacky workarounds, especially in a professional setting where such workarounds aren't ideal. I also feel there's a significant learning curve, which makes it challenging for non-technical users to get the most out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion helps streamline communication, reducing the need to repeat yourself and making it easier to access information quickly. It saves time and consolidates tools by providing a single platform for documentation and task management.
