Project Manager for Managing Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility of the platform and how creative I can get when designing my tabs and organizing all my projects. I also love how much I can customize the format and add anything from a sub page to a pie chart with just a click.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it will highlight a word for spell check but won't let me select it to try to find the correct spelling or add to the dictionary. Other times it will automatically update a word. I hate having the red squiggly lines in my writing so my only gripe is bit being able to quickly remedy that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion replaces a slew of Google documents buried in folder after folder. It makes it easy to create individual projects and have all information at my finger tips instead of scrolling through files and folders.
Beautiful UI That Inspires Exploration, Despite Initial Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I love the UI design. It is very clean and makes me want to play around with all the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a learning curve on first use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a good task tracker! Not only do I store all my tasks, it is also a board for the entire team to be able to track their work. I also like how the notes can link to our events.

AI integration is fantastic and a step above other programs given ability to take action and edit live

Getting started can feel overwhelming with the amount of possibility. Intuition building with tutorials is helpful.

Organizing thoughts. Database creation. Automated research.

I love that it's on all of my devices and it's easy to share with others.

The constant updates that don't seem to do much like mail, calendar, etc.

Notion runs our household. It allows my self and partner to work through issues in our home, children, and projects. I also use it with work to organize thoughts, systems, and knowledge bases.

I really appreciate how Notion's AI capabilities have significantly improved, making our workflow more efficient and streamlined. I find the ability to build custom projects in Notion extremely valuable, as it allows me to adapt the tool to the specific needs of each project. This flexibility is essential for our team because it enables us to manage tasks and projects in a way that aligns with our unique processes. Moreover, Notion has become integral to our project management and meeting processes. It serves as a great tool for taking notes during meetings, ensuring that nothing is missed and all information is well-organized. The integration with Slack is also a noteworthy mention, as it complements our workflow by facilitating seamless communication and collaboration within the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process of Notion was a bit cumbersome to understand, even though it offers a lot of customizability. Additionally, I would prefer lower pricing for the service.

I use Notion for comprehensive project management and note-taking during meetings, benefiting from AI capabilities and custom project setups.
Effortless Job Search Tracking with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion incredibly efficient and effective for building and using databases, particularly in tracking my job search. Transitioning from Microsoft Excel, Notion offers a user-friendly setup that I did not find difficult at all. I appreciate its capability to serve as a central, easy-to-use tracking mechanism, allowing me to monitor progress effectively. I enjoy the ability to build out databases with specific fields and make enhancements as needed. One of the key reasons I would consider purchasing it again is the ease of use and its versatility in performing a variety of tasks. This flexibility and utility make it a highly recommended tool in my experience.

I like the UX design, the AI feature to search across our company's Notion pages, and how scalable it is to build as detailed of handbooks as I need to empower our employees to retrieve the info they need.

The learning curve to efficiently built a Notion page is steeper than other similar tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves our need to have a source of truth for readily available information that employees can go to when they have questions about HR policies.

Sometimes the personalization can be a bit daunting, it took a while to learn within the platform.

Having my knowledge base in a centralized platform makes it easy to locate items and save interests for future use.
Fantastic UI for Projects, Needs Better Excel Data Handling
What do you like best about the product?
The project management and knowledge base UI is amazing. Pretty much use it for all my work-related projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs to be better at dealing with data (Excel sheet data doesn't convert well)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is pretty much Airtable and a task manager put together. Instead of using all the different tools, I use Notion.
