The platform solves the significant problem of having all documentation in one location, which facilitates easy access and review for everyone at any time. Additionally, I find the functionality that allows the creation of databases and varied viewing types highly valuable, as it enhances both presentation and organization of information, making it a boon for structured business processes. Also, I love the ease of use that Notion provides, as well as the myriad of ways it enables me to organize business activities. This versatility in performing different tasks is a major asset. Furthermore, the integration capabilities with tools like Slack and Google enhance productivity, allowing seamless workflow without needing to juggle multiple platforms.

Essential Tool for Efficient Note-Taking and Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion to be an incredibly valuable tool, particularly as a note-taking application that I've relied on for over five years. I discovered Notion through a YouTuber's recommendation and was immediately captivated by its capability to organize my daily activities effectively. The use of templates is a standout feature for me, streamlining my process and making my note-taking more efficient, especially when I’m reading books and scientific papers. I also love the feature that allows me to connect different notes, which is immensely helpful for linking content from various topics I explore. These features are a significant reason why Notion enhances my organization process, and I'm enthusiastic about the potential addition of more useful templates and the AI features they are implementing. Moreover, I have seamlessly integrated Notion with Zotero, which complements my workflow perfectly.

I would like Notion to maintain performance as it becomes more resource-intensive with increased complexity of use.

Powerful Customization and Features, But Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, Notion excels as a knowledge base. The customization options are outstanding, allowing you to design pages to look and work precisely as you prefer. It offers the depth needed for more advanced configurations. I use Notion daily, and the regular updates and integrations continue to enhance its usefulness.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can be a heavy lift when getting started. While it offers many customizations and features, the platform can feel complicated, and the learning curve is steep—almost deserving a warning. I like the databases, but I wish they had more functionality. Even exporting content doesn’t always produce clean or usable results, which can be frustrating.

All-in-One Workspace That Streamlines Organization and Boosts Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is how it brings everything together in one place. I used to juggle between different apps for note-taking, task management, and keeping track of projects, but Notion handles it all. The interface is clean and not overwhelming, which makes it easy to organize my thoughts and work. I especially appreciate the database feature - being able to create tables and link different pages together helps me stay organized in a way that regular note apps just can't do. It's flexible enough that I can set it up however works best for me, whether that's simple notes or more complex project tracking. The fact that it syncs across all my devices means I can access everything from my phone or laptop, which is really convenient. It took a little time to learn all the features, but once I got the hang of it, it became my go-to workspace for almost everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike about Notion is that it can be slow to load sometimes, especially when I'm working with larger databases or pages with lots of content. The offline functionality isn't great either - if my internet connection drops, I can't access or edit my work as smoothly as I'd like.
There's also a bit of a learning curve when you first start using it, and it can feel overwhelming with all the features and customization options. Sometimes I find myself spending too much time organizing and setting up pages instead of actually working.
The mobile app is decent but not as smooth as the desktop version, and editing complex pages on my phone can be frustrating. I also wish the search function was faster and more accurate - sometimes it takes a while to find what I'm looking for.
While the free plan is generous, some of the limitations on file uploads and guests can be restrictive if you're using it heavily.

I primarily use Notion as a knowledge base and note-taking software. It's where I store all my important information, reference materials, and meeting notes so I can easily search and find things later. I also rely on it heavily for project management - I use it to track tasks, set deadlines, and monitor the progress of different projects I'm working on.
