Powerful Flexibility, Slight Performance Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely appreciate the simplicity and beauty of Notion's note-taking capabilities, which initially drew me to start using it. I find Notion's ability to integrate a wide range of features like to-do lists, lecture notes, and easily manageable main and sub-tabs incredibly beneficial compared to other tools like notepad and Microsoft Word. Having one central hub for both work and school, especially with the Assignments Database or Project Database function, is invaluable for me as it consolidates my tasks into a single, accessible location. The flexibility and centralization Notion offers are unmatched, as it supports managing multiple projects and assignment deadlines while automatically highlighting what’s most urgent for me. I love how the toggle block feature allows me to hide and reveal text smoothly, and its powerful database functionality is outstanding. This unique combination of flexibility, centralization, and database capabilities makes Notion a tool I would definitely choose to purchase again.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I started using Notion, the initial setup was not as easy as I expected. The first day was a bit confusing, and I had to spend additional time watching a YouTube video and consulting my colleagues to become confident in using it. Specifically, mastering the Database and their relationships, as well as Formula and advanced filtering functions, required extra time and effort. Additionally, I would change Notion by significantly improving the performance and reliability, especially when dealing with large, complex databases and workspaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage multiple projects and assignment due dates, automatically prioritizing what's urgent. It consolidates my notes, to-do lists, and databases into one tool, enhancing work and school connectivity.
Effective for Document Organization, Challenging Template Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Notion for about two years for both work and home life, such as bills tracking and clinical documentation. I like that Notion allows me to store my research in different files, which is incredibly helpful for organizing the documents I create through AI. The categorization feature for bills is fantastic as well; it not only organizes them by category but also calculates and provides templates, which makes managing my finances much easier. Additionally, I appreciate the assistant feature, which acts as a second brain in my business. If I want a template built, I can type my request, and it generates the idea, making the assistant an invaluable tool for my productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial setup with Notion to be somewhat difficult, particularly when it comes to using and managing templates. Understanding how to customize templates, especially the home page template, to fit my needs better was quite challenging, and I still struggle with some features. Additionally, I am disappointed that Notion AI does not support live Internet-based research, which limits its functionality for my needs.

I find Notion organizes my billing with categorized templates and automatic calculations, and aids in curriculum building efficiently. It acts as a second brain with AI assistance for tasks, although it lacks internet-based research capability.
Promising Tool with Room for UI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really like using Notion AI and find it beneficial for my tasks. The templates are also something I appreciate as they help streamline my work. I use Notion as a centralized repository, effectively serving as an internal wiki for my team. This allows me to organize all key information and makes it easily accessible for my team, moving away from a more scattered system like Google Drive. This centralization helps in consistent communication and ensures all essential data is housed in one place, enhancing team productivity.

I use Notion as a centralized repository to organize key team information, creating an internal Wiki to avoid the chaos of scattered data.
Super helpful and saves a lot of time
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to create charts and tables. The ability to customize pages and organize my thoughts and ideas. I also like that when they AI rewrites something for you, it does a strike through your original text and then shows you the suggestions and changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s a little costly, would love to see a less expensive option

As someone with severe ADHD, it helps me stay focused and organized.

flexibility - you can create tables, write quick notes, and all the ready-to-go types/categories make work faster

its really hard to find the right document sometimes. also the databases are too easy to override/delete data for inexperienced users. also input of images is cumbersome

keeping track of user research interviews and insights per project and per team, easy to filter based on any category/filter you need
User-Friendly Search, But Needs Better Keyword Matching
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user friendly it is when searching for various pages. The ease of use is beneficial to many people. It has also been the most frequent to use when looking for support
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes finding the right page can be hard if the exact word is not on that page when searching

Locating useful pages and easy editing tools
Great for Notion Users, But Needs Improvement with Complex Databases
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI is super useful for someone already in the Notion ecosystem. The AI is still learning, but for th emost part can complete most tasks with about a 90% accuracy. The ability to customize your agent is nice, and I'm happy to be along right from the beginning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion AI struggles with debugging tables with relations and rollups. It acts as though it understands but has broken many of my already buggy databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is AI is helping me save time by collating things, it's ability to watch and summarize actions is accurate. It's saving me loads of time, and I'm sure as it gets better, it will save even more.
Notion Outshines Confluence and Coda with Superior Comfort and Features
What do you like best about the product?
Previously I used many toola like Confluence, Coda, but Notion is extremely comfortable than those with given features

adding image or screenshot directly from / is not available.

Taking meeting notes, and maintaining proper project work and knowledge base.
Incredibly Versatile Tool That Does It All
What do you like best about the product?
That it can do SO much! It’s my second brain in digital format. I love how easy it is to share databases with clients and it replaces other more expensive paid software options like plannable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just a big learning curve is all really.
