Flexible, Powerful, and User-Friendly—Notion Is My All-in-One Productivity Hub

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is how flexible it is, I can use it for almost anything: project planning, note-taking, meeting summaries, and even personal organization.
I’ve built my own pages and databases to manage both work and side projects, and I love how easy it is to link everything together and keep context in one place.

The interface is clean and pleasant to use, and I really appreciate the mix of simplicity and structure: it lets me start quickly but also build complex systems when I need to.
Collaboration with teammates is smooth, we can comment, tag each other, and update content in real time without confusion.
It’s become the central hub for how I organize ideas, projects, and knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, honestly.
When I work with very large databases or pages full of content, it can feel a bit slower.
And while the mobile app is great, offline access could still be improved.
But overall, those are small trade-offs compared to how powerful and enjoyable the platform is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep everything organized in one place, from project plans and meeting notes to documentation and personal tasks.
Before using it, I had information scattered across different tools and files, which made it hard to stay consistent and find things quickly.
Now, I can connect notes, tasks, and databases seamlessly, and collaborate with others without losing context.
It saves me time every day and makes my work much more structured, transparent, and easy to manage.

Seamless Integrations and Updates, But Wishing for More Custom Styling in Notion

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In addition to the extensive range of integrations with the tools I already rely on, I find the ease of using these integrations and building dashboards to organize both my personal and professional life truly invaluable. I also appreciate the frequent updates, which often address challenges I have just encountered, making it feel as though the developers have a strong understanding of what users need most. Without a doubt this is part of my daily routine, and only finds more ways to connect to more of my life in positive ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of years ago, this question would have been easier to answer, but with the recent updates, it's honestly difficult to find much to criticize. If I had to suggest something, it would be to have more built-in options for styling pages—something closer to a WYSIWYG combined with a code page editor. This would allow for greater customization of layouts beyond the standard Notion modules, and perhaps even the ability to use CSS or another widely adopted theming language. Notion already lets us deploy pages and databases as websites thanks to its cloud-based nature, and with third-party support, some of these customizations are possible. However, if these tools were integrated directly into Notion, users could make their pages look less like typical Notion pages and more like whatever they envision.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion serves as a comprehensive data storage and analysis tool in my business, allowing me to keep track of clients, their contracts, usage, and billing information. Additionally, it functions as a project management suite, enabling me to outline and monitor each step of our internal projects at the office. In my personal life, I also rely on Notion to organize and monitor various aspects such as health, fitness, nutrition, and medication data. It further helps me keep tabs on personal projects, including several engineering challenges I’ve set for myself to continue learning in my free time.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how it keeps everything organized in one place. I can take notes, manage tasks, create databases, and even plan projects all within the same app. Its flexibility lets me customize pages and workflows exactly how I want, which makes staying productive and on top of work really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is that it can feel a bit slow, especially when pages get large or have lots of content. It also has a learning curve for beginners, since there are so many features and ways to organize things. Sometimes, finding the right template or setting up a workflow takes more time than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of keeping work, notes, and projects organized in one place. It helps me track tasks, plan projects, and store important information without juggling multiple apps. This makes staying productive, managing time, and finding information much easier and faster.

Good for the organization, need AI improvements

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's ability to synthesize notes and organize them in a visual and structured manner, which allows me to keep my studies well organized. I use artificial intelligence a lot to take notes, which helps me in the process of organizing and capturing important information. These features offer flexibility and organizational power that make my academic tasks more manageable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am having difficulties using Notion without the help of artificial intelligence, which makes the user experience less intuitive and smooth. Additionally, the absence of shapes or diagrams with arrows to facilitate the creation of diagrams is a notable lack. An integrated artificial intelligence feature, especially in the student plan, would be highly desired to improve the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to synthesize notes and organize them visually in a structured manner.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is the ultimate command center for building and running an empire. The flexibility to design tailored dashboards, databases, and automations makes it feel like software built specifically for me. I can visualize everything—projects, systems, goals, and metrics—inside one beautifully minimal interface. Its integration capabilities and aesthetic design make daily execution smoother, faster, and more intentional.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, syncing large databases or switching between heavy pages can feel slightly slow, and mobile editing could be more fluid. Other than that, Notion keeps evolving and improving—every update brings it closer to perfection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Versatile Tool for Business Management, Despite Learning Curve

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's flexibility and the ability it provides to create personalized or customizable dashboards. This level of customization enables me to design solutions tailored to my own requirements rather than relying on templated solutions or standard SaaS tools. I find the databases and template database pages to be incredibly useful in my daily operations. The platform's visualizations allow me to create mini dashboards directly within Notion, enhancing the way I manage information and track processes. Additionally, Notion serves as my CRM, sales tracker, company knowledge base, and meeting recorder, seamlessly integrating various aspects of my business operations. The AI features that I've been experimenting with recently have proven to be quite promising. Overall, I've had no inclination to switch to other vendors because Notion meets my needs effectively. If I were to purchase it again, its inherent stickiness and customizability would be driving factors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found setting up Notion to be a bit challenging initially due to the abundance of features and the learning curve associated with understanding the paradigm differences between traditional document management and Notion's approach with documents, folders, and pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as my CRM, sales tracker, company knowledge base, and meeting recorder, streamlining my business operations efficiently.

Intuitive and Versatile, But Tabs Need Improvement

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have become so comfortable with Notion that I would choose it over any other vendor. Its design feels premium, beautiful, and fun to use, which is very important to me. I find Notion's intuitive design easy to navigate, making setup straightforward even though it was initially unfamiliar. Notion significantly aids in managing my daily to-do lists and collaborating with colleagues through live feedback on documents. It's very useful for my job, where I handle extensive documentation processes across various countries. The platform consolidates all my documents, making them easily accessible and connected, unlike Google Docs. I love using Notion AI to efficiently locate information scattered across numerous company files. The database feature is also beneficial, and the gallery mode for documents is something I greatly appreciate. Notion integrates well with Google Docs, Drive, Slack, and even Zapier, ensuring seamless workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Switching between tabs in Notion is not as intuitive as it is on browsers like Google Chrome. Often, I accidentally close tabs instead of switching between them, which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage daily tasks, improve collaboration, organize extensive documentation, and connect information seamlessly. It centralizes workflows, allowing easy access to multiple documents, which enhances productivity and efficiency.

I appreciate how setting up Notion was very straightforward, making it easy to integrate into my workflow without any hassle. Notion's interface is similar to a live website with an excellent file structure that provides a clear hierarchy of information, making content management intuitive. Additionally, I believe it serves as a suitable substitute for other content management systems due to its comprehensive capabilities. All in all, I think it's a solid product that meets my needs exceptionally well.
