Robust Tool with Impressive AI and Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how robust Notion is, making it a powerful productivity tool. The AI feature that references personal documents is particularly amazing, transforming it into an extraordinary knowledge base at work. In my personal life, it acts as my 'second brain,' storing everything crucial. I appreciate the ease of creating templates without wasting time and how it integrates seamlessly with Claude, which enhances its functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the setup process for Notion to be quite manual (before ai became so much better recently) and confusing, especially when it comes to understanding databases, roll-ups, and relations. It's a bit challenging to get started. Additionally, I wish there were more customization options for colors and aesthetics within the platform to better match my personal style.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion serves as my knowledge base and personal second brain, allowing easy document reference with AI and saving time with quick template creation.
Instant, useful meeting notes
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way Notion AI records and transcribes my meetings then generates organized notes and to-dos. But lots of tools do that… Notion puts all of those notes into a searchable pot so queries like, “Give me all of my open tasks from this week’s meetings”produce accurate results.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s super-powerful, but it does so much that it’s easy to be overwhelmed. I know it could be doing more for me, but I often don’t even know where to look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate meeting notes and resulting tasks. Data organization.

What do you like best about the product?
It is by far one of the easiest note taking systems I use. I love the meeting note taker, it does an amazing job summarizing the conversation. Anything of value that comes out of AI goes right into Notion. Integrates nicely with many of the apps and AI that I use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI takes a little bit of getting used to. I would love to see it integrate more with other apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my development across 3 websites and the many blog posts that I plan to write. It keeps my task list, my backlog, my sprint planning. I have Claude reorganize my notes so they are easy to find.

I really appreciate how intuitive it is to navigate and how simple it is to tailor to both personal and team workflows. The features that allow you to integrate databases, build templates, and collaborate in real time make it much more powerful than standard note-taking tools. Its clean and minimal design also helps keep information organized without feeling overwhelming.

While Notion is powerful, it can sometimes feel overwhelming for new users because of the many features and flexibility. Some advanced customizations require a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps centralize information that was previously scattered across different tools, emails, and documents. By consolidating project management, documentation, and team collaboration into one platform, it reduces context switching and makes it easier for everyone to stay aligned. It also improves transparency, since tasks, notes, and databases are all accessible in real time. This has saved our team time, improved organization, and made onboarding new members much smoother.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's flexibility and customization, which allow me to integrate CRM, note-taking, and project management seamlessly. The AI capabilities are incredible, acting like a teammate that automates tasks and queries information. I'm also impressed with the collaboration features, enabling easy tagging and task delegation among teammates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the complexity that arises from the extreme flexibility Notion offers in setting up templates. Sometimes it's tough to make a decision on what I want to actually do inside the tool, and this flexibility can lead me to delete the whole page and start over. I think a little more structure in the templates would be beneficial.

Creative, Efficient, & All-encompassing
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can quite literally plan and store details from all facets of my life in Notion. I can attach images, files, and customize and personalize everything. I use Notion everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. I am perfectly happy with Notion and all of the updates that have been implemented recently.

Mostly, the problems that Notion solves for me are organizational.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Agentic AI has raised the bar for what can be achieved, there remains potential for further enhancement. Expanding the selection of built-in agentic templates to cover more specialized or niche scenarios would be beneficial. Additionally, offering more detailed controls for automations could better serve advanced users. At times, the agentic suggestions feel somewhat generic, so allowing for deeper customization or enabling the system to learn from a broader context would significantly improve the overall experience.

I really appreciate the AI features and note recording capabilities of Notion. The AI notes take and summarize the class discussions or meetings clearly, enabling me to review and understand the key concepts effectively. I also love how Notion organizes my random thoughts, ideas, and work contents into separate folders, making everything easy to access and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Notion to have a significant learning curve. There were too many tools and functions available, which made it challenging to know the best way to use them as a beginner. Additionally, I did not know the shortcut keys needed to start new features or functions, which added to the complexity. Furthermore, I wish it was easier to move content around from tab to tab or from folders to folders, which would improve the ease of organizing information.

I use Notion to organize my thoughts, ideas, and work contents efficiently, separating them into folders. The AI note-taking and summarizing feature is invaluable for clearly breaking down and reviewing class or meeting notes.
