An All-in-One Tool, but Lags in Automation

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion helps organize information and serves as a 'second brain'. The design is simple, modular, and robust. It's like the 'Excel + Word' everyone has wanted for 20 years. Also, the initial setup of Notion was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that spreadsheets in Notion pretty much break when they get too large. I have to store media files separately because Notion doesn't handle them well. The automation in Notion is clunky, and the current Notion AI doesn't help much, except for retroactive tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize information and acts as a 'second brain.'

Versatile and User-Friendly, Perfect for Multi-Tasking

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion so far because it really helps me manage my projects efficiently. I can create workspaces to brain dump and time block, breaking it up by different clients and having project sheets. I especially like the toggle option for not seeing too much information at once. Notion is mobile and desktop friendly, and I find the interface very easy to navigate. I really like being able to create and organize as many pages as I need. The AI feature helps me navigate easily, and it solves a lot of problems I used to have with using different apps for different features. Notion has a better interface and more features that work better for my brain. The initial setup was very easy, and I found it pretty straightforward to get the hang of things quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I'm time blocking and I want to add the time to my database, it can be a bit glitchy. It doesn't always record the time I put, and I have to go back and do it more than once. And it doesn't work as well on phone or iPad as it does on desktop at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me manage my projects efficiently, providing a workspace to organize different client tasks and allowing seamless brain dumps. It reduces the need to use multiple apps with its built-in features, and the AI navigation is very easy.

Versatile, User-Friendly, and AI-Powered Note-Taking

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's AI assistant bot because it helps fill in gaps when I miss points during lectures. I also really like the simple layout of Notion, making it easier to use and navigate. I appreciate Notion's design layout and ability to create notebooks within folders and pages within pages, allowing for a very structured organization. Notion's versatility impresses me as I can also track my expenses and have a to-do list. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something small that bothers me is that I cannot change the text AND highlight color at the same time with one key command. I like to annotate my notes and add color, and I wish there was an easier way to do both commands. I'm aware command, shift, h is a command to highlight OR change the text color, but I would like a function where I can use this command to perform both at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion's AI assistant bot fills gaps in my lecture notes, and its simple layout makes navigation easy. I use it to organize notes and track expenses. It supports a structured organization with notebooks and pages.

Streamlined Task Management with Impressive AI Integration

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's AI integration. It's specific to its platform and remembers my business profile and persona based on our conversations. It does a great job of saving data, organizing and synthesizing it, removing the fluff, and saving the meaningful things as PDFs and protocols within Notion documents. This is really helpful for managing tasks efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve when you first take on Notion. I think the other nice thing would be to have more available windows to consult with Notion experts to better understand the software. There were some hiccups that we had when I first registered from my account. I logged in the next day, and for some reason, it said that I still had to pay when I already did. I think it would have been nice to have some way to be prompted to download the app for desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my workday, understand my workflow, and prioritize tasks. It saves me time and resources by handling tasks like a virtual assistant, which is crucial for my small business as it scales.

Comprehensive Task Management with AI Enhancement

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion allows everything to be interconnected. I can manage all aspects of my musical artists effectively, like scheduling tasks to team members, creating personal to-do lists, and assigning tasks without needing to switch between various apps. I appreciate that it integrates well with tools like ChatGPT. The AI help tool is amazing too, making the whole experience more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's nice with the AI assistant, but sometimes I would like to read the logic so I know how to do it myself. Otherwise, I become super reliant on the assistant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage my musical artists and tasks. It lets me schedule tasks, create to-do lists, and assign work to team members, all in one interconnected ecosystem. The AI help tool is amazing, and I can easily integrate it with apps like ChatGPT.

Organizes Well, But Overpriced AI Features

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to organize my workflow as a content creator, and it really helps to organize and schedule my life, making it easier to work. I also value the database feature because it helps me store knowledge and experiences effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Notion AI doesn't seem to be worth the price. It's £20 a month, and ChatGPT, which is much better, costs less. Notion AI isn't as advanced or as good, and even within Notion itself, it doesn't do the tasks properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my workflow as a content creator. It organizes and schedules my life, making it easier to work.

Streamlined Project Management and Documentation

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's flexibility and all-in-one workspace, which combines notes, databases, task management, and wikis. It lets teams customize workflows and keep everything organized on a single platform. The initial setup was smooth, creating workspaces, pages, and databases quickly. It solves problems of scattered documentation, disorganized tasks, and lack of a central knowledge hub by consolidating notes, projects, and workflows in one place, improving team organization and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can be slow with large databases, offline functionality is limited, and complex setups may have a learning curve. Improved performance, better offline access, and more intuitive templates could make it even more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves scattered documentation, disorganized tasks, and lack of a central knowledge hub by consolidating notes, projects, and workflows into one platform, improving team organization and collaboration.

Incredibly Flexible and Centralized Platform

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's insane flexibility; it feels like the brain behind the digital structure I create. I can use it as a personal hub or a full CRM, which is crazy powerful. It turns into a centralized home for everything that matters, gathering scattered thoughts, goals, and routines in one place. It's also valuable as a project tracker and team operations hub. I love the central point of truth it provides, with documents easily accessible and understandable through AI. The initial setup was flawless. Switching from Google Drive was a decision I don't regret.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I am part of different Notion workspaces but I am unable to use connectors from both of them with tools that I use such as LLM connectors and MCPs. This would be much better experience on my end but again, this could be user error and not a problem of Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion serves as a central point of truth with all documents in one place, offering quick context understanding. Its flexibility lets me build any digital structure, from personal hubs to full CRMs, unifying scattered thoughts, goals, and team operations in a single space.

Flexible and Easy to Use, but Pricing and Fees Can Feel Unclear

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notions flexibility, and the fact that its easy to both input and retrieve data, and present it in easily digestable ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s often difficult to know exactly what you’re paying for. The granular nature of the charges makes it easy to miss small things that can trigger an extra fee, which can come across as a bit deceptive. That’s the main reason I’m not at 10/10 when recommending it to colleagues and friends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me stay organised and see what other members of the team are working on, without the excessive bloat and slowdowns I’ve experienced with alternative tools from competitors.
