Powerful Tool with Usability Hiccups

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for tracking project completion, communicating with my team and team leader about prioritization, and documenting all technical work. Notion allows us to stay in sync, host an intake for issues with our data systems, and track project management. I really like its usability; it's easy to get up to speed on the tool but offers a lot of power with automation. The keyboard shortcuts are a huge time-saver in documentation and project management, like using '/todo' to start a checklist.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like it's been a bit buggy recently since the AI features were rolled out, and it crashes a bit more frequently (especially when using the shortcuts) than it did in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track project completion, communicate with my team, and document technical work. It keeps us in sync, manages issues, and helps with project management. Its usability and keyboard shortcuts save me time, especially with the automation features.

Versatile All-in-One Tool, Great for Solopreneurs

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion and Notion AI for a variety of purposes, including project management, sales pipeline tracking, and drafting custom proposals. I appreciate that Notion AI acts like a high-level admin assistant, developer, and copywriter, using a natural language tone that feels like a tool rather than an overly hyped-up assistant. I love how the search tool makes it easy to find what I'm looking for, and Notion AI's ability to build databases without manual entry or coding is powerful. I also enjoy how Notion continually adds new features, and I'm excited about the new Agents feature. Setting up workspaces for clients has shown me the potential of Notion sites. I appreciate the generous three-month free trial for Notion AI, which was brilliant in getting me hooked on the features, and I love that now with a paid plan, upsell opportunities don't clutter the interface. Searching the marketplace for templates was fun once I knew where to look.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a difficult time moving content between databases, with help articles and Notion AI often just telling me "sorry, in this instance you'll have to copy + paste." I did find it frustrating how many limits I ran into when trying to use the tool before paying for the Notion AI plan. The free plan itself could be designed to show people more robust functionality as a teaser without causing frustration. Not as easy initial setup for Notion; I had fun searching the marketplace for templates, though, as soon as I knew where to look!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage projects, track sales, draft proposals, and take personal notes. It reduces time spent tracking files, and Notion AI avoids manual data entry. The search tool simplifies finding information.

Smooth Setup for a Master Task List with Easy, Day-Sorted Reminders

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have made a home page in notion which is a master task list of the projects inside it, so that i can add reminders in the different projects and see them in a single page sorted by days, with much ease. The implementation was smooth and i had not found any reasons to reach the customer support. I have yet to integrate it with any other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need Notion to be able to send notifications like the native app of mac like reminders
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is combining the need for me to have a different notes app and a different reminders app to combine into one.

Flexibility and Collaboration at the Center of Documentation

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility I have with documents in Notion. The way we can share and collaborate on multiple documents is excellent, because, in the same tool, I can have a client base and manage shared feature rollouts. I can also create a base of ideas and initiatives, centralizing the work of squads in an easy and transparent way. The templates ensure that all documents in a given context have the same standard, greatly facilitating collaborative work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried several times to use Notion's AI to format my documents, but in the end, I ended up opting to paste externally so that ChatGPT could format them, so I understand that this could be a point of improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize documents, share, and give visibility to work. It allows collaboration on multiple documents with flexibility in formats, something that other tools like Google Docs do not offer sufficiently.

Flexible and Powerful, But Steep Learning Curve

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I personally like how you can link different pages to different places. It can be really flexible to use in whatever function we need best like as a documentation hub, project tracker, or database. I also like the history tab to make sure we can track who is making changes and how easy it is to edit and contribute. It allows for the information to stay connected rather than siloed.
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge I find, as someone that is new to Notion with my current job, is that because it's so flexible and has so many features, sometimes it's difficult to get pages to do exactly what I want them to do. There are so many different types of things (blocks, charts, graphs, databases, layout options, tables, dashboards, etc.) that it can be a bit overwhelming. You can also build pages inside of pages inside of pages so can feel a bit like inception where it's hard for me to find where I am. Probably a 7 or so. I think it has the potential to be really flexible and work really well with everyone in a company. But it does have a large learning curve if you've never used it before. And we need to work on privatising more confidential meetings notes too. Currently, everything is available to everyone which is something we need to change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes our knowledge for client work and deals, offers a live working space for the team, and connects information, avoiding silos. It facilitates documentation, project management, and CRM functions.

Super Easy, Free Way to Centralize Company Knowledge in One Place

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use, free to get started. Helps collect all our internal company knowledge in 1 place.
Equally, for an early stage company, a quick, easy, 'free' but very basic CRM alternative
What do you dislike about the product?
As with all similar tools, it can get dis-organised and outdated super quickly. Had this issue across all companies I have used Notion and not sure if there will be a solution to this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing our information/SOPs/IP for future reference

Empowers Inter-Departmental Communication Effortlessly

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion for the way that I can structure different dashboards and overviews to share with other teams. It makes communication with departments easier and helps in organizing onboarding guidance. The ease of editing, changing visuals, and organizing content in Notion is also a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes editing, or trying to add a subpage, was not easy to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for interdepartmental communication and organizing my onboarding, making it easier to find information and learn about the company. I like structuring different dashboards and overviews to share with teams, as it's easy to edit visuals and organize content.

Effortless Note-Taking and Layout Design with AI Enhancements

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that designing the layout in Notion is easy to use, and there are lots of AI functions that assist with both business and personal requirements. I find it easy to adopt the function, and it's simple to create new tasks or meeting notes with AI. The transition to Notion from another software is smooth for users. I was originally using OneNote, but now using Notion, and the experience is much better with many new functions and features not found in OneNote. The initial setup of Notion had no challenges at all; it was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think having a more unified function to consolidate different meeting notes and create personalized action plans would be helpful. I'm still exploring these kinds of functions within Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion simplifies note-taking and saves time summarizing meeting notes and action points.
