A Powerful All-in-One Workspace That Keeps Evolving
What do you like best about the product?
Notion shines as an all-in-one productivity platform. Its flexibility is unmatched — It can create everything from simple to-do lists to complex project management dashboards, all within one interface. The ability to mix databases, text, kanban boards, calendars, and more in a single page is incredibly powerful. I also love the aesthetic appeal — clean, minimal, and highly customizable. The collaborative features are excellent too, especially when working with teams or sharing pages externally. Notion AI is also a nice bonus, especially for generating quick summaries or brainstorming ideas directly inside a note.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback is performance — pages can load slowly, especially if they’re large or filled with embedded content. Offline support is still somewhat limited; while it has improved, it’s not fully reliable if you’re frequently disconnected from the internet. The learning curve can also be steep for new users — the freedom is great, but it can be overwhelming without templates or guidance. Lastly, while the mobile app works, it’s not nearly as fluid or intuitive as the desktop/web version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has replaced multiple apps for me: Trello for task management, Google Docs for writing, Evernote for note-taking, and even Excel for simple databases.
I now have a centralized hub for all my personal and professional tasks — from managing content calendars to tracking habits and storing project documentation.
The main benefit is streamlined productivity and less app-switching. It’s helped me reduce digital clutter and actually stick to my systems because everything lives in one place, and it’s tailored to how I think and work.

I love notion and it's used for everything
What do you like best about the product?
It's such an easy way of recording all items and staying on track
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there needs tk be better display of what use cases are and seeing power users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me use it as a knowledge base tracker with some light automation and tracking
Great UI/UX but could a new feature.
What do you like best about the product?
The simple UI/UX design how everything is minimal, but also gives you lots of tools when typing a /.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to connect ideas together in a simple way, like Obsedian but without the complex structure and effort. This would help a lot with complex/critical thinking of ideas and topics. It would also be nice to make tables and databases have more features and put the function over form in that area.

Notetaking for college
Notion is turning into one of the best workplace collaboration tools
What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple it is to do the simple things, but the depth of the tool to do more complex things as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things that seem simple, like filtering for the page you are on, can be hard. I also see a lot of potential in the AI helper, but it's not terribly effective yet at research or medium complexity tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping information organized and providing a collaborative tool for multiple users.
Powerful Collaboration with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Notion has significantly improved our team's ability to track tasks and work consistently, moving away from less visible tools like Google Sheets and Docs. I find the database features and the ability to link pages together extremely useful. Additionally, once I understood it, I found it easy to use and appreciate the user interface. Also, I love using the calendar integration and the connection with Slack, which has been beneficial to our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it challenging to learn and effectively use Notion initially due to the learning curve involved in understanding different terms like blocks, pages, and properties, and how they connect. This took quite a long time to figure out even with tools like Notion University. Another major frustration is the inability to set individual permissions for properties on a database, as it's currently all or nothing, which is quite annoying. I'd like more granular control, such as locking down specific properties so that not everyone can edit all properties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves our problem of keeping track of tasks visibly across the team, improving consistency and moving away from limited Google Sheets and Docs.
Stepped up with their AI functionality for Knowledge Management
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a great evolution beyond the traditional Wiki when it comes to knowledge management, documentation, and note taking. It is easy to use and straightforward, with reasonable permissioning and controls.
The recent introduction of AI functionality, both for Search and Drafting, has accelerated my personal workflows.

What do you dislike about the product?
Like all wikis, Notion will become chaotic and messy without good hygiene. And its functionality is so immense with so many options that different people will do the same thing in many different ways.
On the plus side, its AI search functionality and AI chat summaries do a good job sorting through the noise and giving primers with links.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion serves as a central hub for our team's documentation, encompassing everything from internal workflows and marketing materials to product and engineering decisions. We also rely on it as a collaborative note-taking and sharing tool. The addition of the new AI search and chat features has made a noticeable difference in reducing chaos and information overload. These tools can answer questions and synthesize content from across the entire workspace, and they generally do a good job of handling the evolution and updates of older or incomplete information so that the answers and content are the most relevant when searching.
Basically, Notion as a wiki was getting overwhelming with functionality and content. The AI search function allows us to further defer that overwhelming nature.

Notion AI: Powerful, Yet Lacks Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the tooling provided by Notion AI, which simplifies getting direct answers to specific questions without searching through a whole database. It makes my job in enablement much easier. I also appreciate the ability to convert databases into task trackers, allowing me to centralize all tasks into a master to-do list.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editor mode feels clunky: Shifting in and out of editor mode could be more seamless. Right now it feels too limited for editing a specific page. Filtering in Notion AI needs more flexibility: I’d like the ability to control filters (e.g., excluding certain pages or elements) without needing backend support. This would make the tool far more practical day to day. Platform intent can be unclear: At times, it’s confusing whether the platform is meant primarily for internal documentation or for project management. Other tools are more explicit in their design intent, which makes them easier to adopt. Some customization features are missing: For example, the ability to add more extensive page customizations, or to insert bullet points directly inside table cells, would make the experience more powerful and flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion AI helps me get direct answers quickly, improving my role in enablement without searching an entire database, and I love converting databases into task trackers for a centralized master to-do list.
