Amazing
What do you like best about the product?
Its powerful feature of connecting databases, which makes it easy to link information and create a single source of truth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can sometimes feel overwhelming because of its steep learning curve and the sheer number of features. It’s powerful, but that also makes it harder for new users to set up without investing significant time. Performance can lag with larger workspaces or databases, and offline support is limited, which makes it less reliable when internet access is poor. Collaboration also feels a bit clunky compared to tools built primarily for real-time teamwork.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us centralize all our project documentation, tasks, and knowledge base into one platform. Instead of juggling between multiple tools, we manage workflows, meeting notes, and roadmaps in one place, which saves time, improves team alignment, and makes information easily accessible. This reduces duplication of work and ensures smoother collaboration across projects.
Notion has become an integral part of my work and I use it daily
What do you like best about the product?
Makes collaboration between teammates/orgs extremely easy and fluid
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the search bar was a little more accurate and leads with the most relevant info ie looking for an old playbook and entering words that may be within the previous Notion doc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use notion as a recruiter daily to create/edit decision docs, hiring playbooks, collab sheets etc
Notion for Nonprofits was great untill…
What do you like best about the product?
Notion provided a healthy discount for nonprofits and we were excited to sign up. Then less than a year later they forced everyone to the enterprise version with 0 discount. It’s sad when companies force out smaller nonprofits due to their decision to change structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is decent. It’s not life changing and most can be done with many other options instead of having to upgrade to a full enterprise license to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was to help safe time and increase productivity. While it did some again it’s cost took it out of consideration for a small nonprofit.
Good Implementation for Grad School
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is nice in that it has features where you can create your own dashboards that tailor to your needs, like calendars, assignment tracking, grade tracking, and notes for various courses. I appreciate the AI integration for when the concepts are being presented too quickly in class, so that I can ask AI the question and it will generate a nice note for me. It is super easy to use, though I would say that it's a little daunting at first. I use Notion daily, so with practice, you should be good to go. Also, you can use it for other uses, such as budgeting, book tracking, wellness tracking, etc. I like that I am not wasting paper with journals and have it easily accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the challenge of setting up your own interface can be overwhelming but they have many templates you can use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes, they are assisting me in creating a unlimited document storage where I can hold and organize my notes for school in singular location as well as many other features for document tracking.
Versatile Tool with Impressive AI Features
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion's database tool incredibly useful, allowing me to filter and sort notes for various purposes. Tagging information is seamless and beneficial. The natural language search functionality is excellent, enabling me to quickly find past notes without sifting through each one. The AI tool, particularly for transcribing meeting notes, is phenomenal, freeing me to focus on meetings rather than note-taking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel frustrated by having to continuously upgrade for certain features. While I understand the need for a pricing model, it can sometimes be confusing. I'm not sure if I’m supposed to pay for each feature separately or if there’s a single fee that covers all new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion acts as my second brain, organizing and storing all my notes and thoughts digitally, making it easy to search past information and stay informed. It allows me to focus on meetings by transcribing notes automatically, enhancing my productivity.
Next Level Notetaking
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy to structure. Clean UI. AI features.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can do a lot, but only if you're proficient with Notion.
If it can offer templates, or templates built by other Notion users (like dashboards, database structures), that would be a huge win.

Highly Efficient, But With a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's ability to accommodate different kinds of information, which was exactly what I was looking for. It's the best product in the market for managing a wide range of use cases. Notion AI seamlessly allows me to create and edit databases, making my workflow more efficient. The seamless integration of Notion AI enhances productivity by efficiently managing tasks that would otherwise be time-consuming. I love the ease of using Notion AI, which is available everywhere and easy to understand. The overall experience and efficiency improvements with Notion AI make it indispensable for me. The platform enables me to manage project and knowledge management effectively, automate tasks, query data easily, and reduce manual work. I would recommend Notion because it excels in consuming, cataloging, and retrieving vast amounts of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find setting up Notion to be a difficult process due to its steep learning curve, even for advanced users. This can be challenging as it requires a significant amount of time and effort to become proficient. Additionally, I feel that Notion should reconsider and improve their existing features and databases by integrating more functionalities based on the Notion AI chatbot because it currently does not fully align with the way I've shifted to relying on the AI assistant for efficiency. This shift is necessary as the manual approach can often be time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion indispensable for managing projects, knowledge, and AI-assisted writing, seamlessly organizing and querying data, and boosting productivity by automating repetitive tasks.
