Notion : An all-in-one productivity platform I use daily for work and personal organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has become a tool I use almost every day because it centralizes so many of my tasks and projects in one place. Its ease of implementation made it quick to set up, and I now rely on it for project management, content planning, documentation, team collaboration, personal goal tracking, and even habit monitoring. The ease of integration with apps like Slack, Google Calendar, and other productivity tools helps streamline workflows, reducing the need to switch between multiple platforms. I also like that Notion is highly customizable—from databases to content calendars—and its frequent updates show that the team listens to user needs. Customer support has also been responsive whenever I’ve reached out, which adds to the confidence in using it as my go-to productivity hub.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I use Notion frequently, the learning curve can be steep for new users, and it may take time to fully unlock its potential. The mobile app experience is not as smooth as the desktop version, especially when handling large or complex databases. While integrations exist, I feel some could be more advanced and automated. Additionally, performance can slow slightly with heavy data use in team settings. Still, these are minor drawbacks compared to the value I get from using Notion on a daily basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has helped us solve multiple productivity challenges by providing a single platform for project management, meeting notes, and knowledge sharing. Earlier, these tasks were scattered across different tools, making collaboration and tracking progress difficult. With Notion, our projects are now organized in structured databases, tasks are clearly assigned, and deadlines are easier to follow. Meeting notes can be instantly documented, shared with the team, and linked back to relevant projects, which reduces miscommunication. Having everything in one place has improved team alignment, reduced time spent searching for information, and increased overall efficiency.

A Seamless Bridge Between Context and Code

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have found Notion AI to be a critical component of our team's workflow, and it's a tool I use multiple times throughout the work week. It provides a valuable connection between the high-level context of our conversations and the tangible deliverables we produce.

A key benefit has been its integration with Slack and GitHub. Setting up these integrations was a breeze, and I've found it very easy to use the tool to ask questions directly within our workflow. This functionality effectively bridges the gap between the discussions that occur in conversations and the code that is built from them. This eliminates the need to manually search through past communications, ensuring that the rationale and context for our decisions are always accessible.

Furthermore, its ability to quickly reference our internal help docs and tech specs has simplified the process of self-service learning. This has allowed me and my colleagues to efficiently trace project processes and the history of our work without having to interrupt others for information.

Another significant factor is the quality of their customer support. Having access to a custom Notion Slack channel has been incredibly helpful; their team has been very responsive and knowledgeable.

In summary, Notion AI feels less like a passive tool and more like an active partner in our daily work. It provides clarity and context precisely when it is needed, making it an indispensable part of our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Notion AI is an indispensable tool, there is room for it to become even more powerful. I believe the next step would be for the AI to better understand and learn from our product data. Being able to customize the AI more towards our organization's specific needs would be a game-changer.

Ultimately, the ability to ask the AI business-related questions and have it provide data-driven answers would be the next step to truly transform our workflow.

In summary, Notion AI feels less like a passive tool and more like an active partner in our daily work. It provides clarity and context precisely when it is needed, making it an indispensable part of our workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contextual knowledge about the business - it has helped me figure things out and self serve before having to ask a team or someone with that domain knowledge.

Even if Notion AI does not have the right answer, it is able to give me a starting point with context on what I should be asking.

Streamline SOPs with User-Friendly Templates

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how easy and intuitive Notion is to navigate; it's seamless and works as expected when arranging tasks. The pre-built templates save time by eliminating the need to start projects from scratch. I find the AI chat feature incredibly helpful for quickly finding answers within our extensive Notion setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would improve the AI chat. Although it is what I use the most, sometimes it takes a lot of questions for it to get me to a page. Sometimes, I don't want it to direct me to just the answer, but to the place where the chat got the answer from. I want to know where in Notion the AI bot found the answer. While the AI provides several different pages where I might find an answer, it's not always easy to locate the information. I would prefer it to be more straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to streamline training by providing a comprehensive SOP library, enhancing communication and learning without extra meetings.

Notion AI assistant Knowledge Management Review

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how many different applications this incorporates into the search functionality. The knowledge management and the ability to digest all that information from hundreds of pages and articles is very helpful. I frequently use this to help support our customers. It is also very easy to use and mostly finds what I am looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have using it is that the prompts have to be more specific than other AI tools. That may be due to the amount of information it is sifting through, but i mostly have to reprompt the assistant 2-3 times before getting the information I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is solving an issue that has plagued our support organization for over two decades. Searching the documentation that we have created over many years and condensing this down to a usable format.

Keeps my projects (and my brain) organized

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has been amazing for managing projects (both big and small). i love how flexible it is - tracking tasks, making dashboards, tables, timelines, etc. I can set things up in a way that actually makes sense for how we work. Its simple enough to get things together while powerful enough to build out complex systems when needed.

Its the best to keep things organized and searchable, If you're juggling multiple moving parts -- i really recommend notion
What do you dislike about the product?
For beginners, notion can be intimidating. That would be the biggest hurdle but once they start things can really take off. It can also be a bit slow to load or update pages in real time if you are working on a page simultaneously
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helps me centralize everything in one place - tasks, timelines, responsibilities, references, etc. Rather than things being disjointed across email, slack, docs, spreadsheets -- its all connected so i can easily have everything in one spot and keep things aligned.

Notion is a fast, intuitive way to manage all of your documents

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has replaced half a dozen tools for me. I run a job-search pipeline, meeting notes, learning anchors, a wellness budget, and even personal logs in linked databases, so context is always one click away. Templates make it fast to standardize pages, and toggles/table views keep complex info tidy. I love how quickly I can turn messy thinking into a system that actually sticks. Minor gripe: the URL column/link behavior can be clunky when I want the title itself clickable. Still, between flexible views, clean design, and the ability to relate anything to anything, Notion is the app I rely on daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
URL/link handling can be clunky when I want titles to be clickable. A few view settings feel buried.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem was fragmentation: resumes, interview prep, learning notes, and budgeting lived in different tools and got out of sync. Notion solves that by letting me run everything in linked databases with reusable templates. I can jump from a job posting to interview notes to follow-ups and metrics without hunting links, and my budget and weekly plan sit right beside it. The benefit is fewer dropped balls, faster prep, and clearer progress—I spend less time organizing and more time doing.
