My ideal project management and knowledge sharing tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the endless customizability that the databases provide. The interlinking of pages and objects is really helpful for me to keep tracking of related projects and tasks. I also really like that it allows me to create task managers for myself that map how my to-do lists look inside my brain onto a page in front of me. I have used Notion for 7 years for my job, and just as long for my personal life. My wedding planning 3 years ago went so smoothly because of the Notion tracker I built and used!
What do you dislike about the product?
The search is not always very accurate, though I do think the AI feature has helped. I wish it were possible to archive pages without deleting them, or at least leave them out of the AI search crawlers. We have deprecated processes or campaigns in our company wiki, and it is helpful to have them for historical context, but the AI search will surface answers up from those pages as accurate. It's confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, project tracking. I use very built-out databases to manage my campaigns and project deliverables. Because of my role I work cross functionally every single day and Notion allows me to make sure everybody has access to the most up to date information all in one place.
It is what I thought up in my head in the early AI days
What do you like best about the product?
Most everything you can think of that you want to do is availble and where you think it should be. I really have appreciated being able to use a CloudFlare worker to route my domain to my Notion page. I really appreciate how I can have a public side, a shared workspace and private side and mail fucntions. It really is all in one
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formatting is really restrictive and maybe thats because I am only on the plus plan but I don't think making two columns should be super annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is my workhorse in helping me set up my non-traditional consulting business. The ability to have pretty much everything I need to be doing in one place save so much time and aggravation! For someone who has a lot of content for their work in addition to join projects Notion is this magical one stop shop.
Learning Curve with Powerful AI Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I really liked Notion's AI feature, which integrates with our Slack message history and allows me to look up information without reviewing docs, making it very efficient. I also appreciate being able to organize everything and have the capability to quickly look up information instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the sensitivity of the pages in Notion quite uncomfortable. It bothers me when someone is reviewing a single page, and accidental clicks can lead to unwanted changes without noticing. Even though we don't often lock our pages, just accidentally modifying something and forgetting about it becomes an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that Notion AI integrates Slack messages to provide instant information lookup, saving time from reviewing documents. It helps organize everything effectively, enhancing information accessibility.
Improving self-service
What do you like best about the product?
We integrate Notion with Slack and those AI capabilities have really improved knowledge management and searchability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a more formal archive process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've connected the Notion <> Slack AI connector and between that and the regular Notion AI, it's really improved our ability to parse dense documentation and cut down on time spent seeking answers.
Notion and it's AI search function completely leveled up our Org's Internal Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Notion allows our entire Organization the ability to document their own corners with the level of detail they need. It allows us to categorize everything within broad buckets and specialized sub folders. This is especially useful when people need to see high level explanations of departments and for the actual employees to be able to follow processes that are in much more granular detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing pages can sometimes be tricky. Having the correct permissions to edit pages is obtuse. Sometimes the owner can add you to the group, or make you a contributor to a single page, but sometimes there are no ways to tell if you actually have the ability to edit the page.
It can be unwieldy to keep cards updated. It is organized well to let you know who and when the page was last touched.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal documentation is completely solved with Notion. We have processes that change, we have accounts that are reclassified, we have many new people joining the org every week. We have complicated definitions for some of our main products, offerings, and goals. We have many different teams working within the same systems, but doing completely different things. This keeps shared knowledge accessible to everyone and with the AI search function, any team member can look something up just by getting a few of the key words in there.
When new processes are invented, it is helpful to immediately spin up a Notion page so that others can use it or see your progress.

Very useful!
What do you like best about the product?
Great to navigate internal resources to see what is available or brainstorm. Awesome for new hires.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does a poor job separating resources by team/function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me get up to speed when onboarding
Knowledge Management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize workflows and leverage templates to construct personalized organizational structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are additional features like allowing formulas to pull from the content section that would assist in our workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Serving as a uniform platform for our dev team and for operations to have a singular source of truth when it comes to progress and tickets needing to be addressed.
Notion AI supports complex project development and management
What do you like best about the product?
Meeting notes and transcription is extremely useful to collect comprehensive notes on complex discussions about new and ongoing projects. It is easy to use and directly integrated within the shared team workspace. We use it for every meeting, is easy to implement into our regular workflow, and it makes assembling task lists trivial. Additional AI features including content generation and querying our workspace are also very useful and make it much easier to find and create content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am confused about the different levels of Notion AI -- what is Notion AI Core vs Notion AI Pro? Why does it still say that I am on a trial of Notion AI when I just paid for the annual plan? This should be made much more clear for users and potential subscribers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI is helping solve difficulties in managing complex projects with many people and regular meetings. Having the meeting automatically recorded, transcribed, and summarized allows me to focus on the meeting rather than dividing my attention with taking notes.
Very good, but hoping for more
What do you like best about the product?
Databases, databases and databases. I think it is a best feature that allows for creating very complex systems.
Among new features, I like the direction Notion takes to improve databases. Webhooks is a great addition.
If you ask what I love the most among AI features it is - AI meeting notes. Hands down.

What do you dislike about the product?
- I think notion could have some sort of query language for fetching complex projections from multiple databases
- Permissioning could have been better. At least API access to permissions would be helpful.
- I find it difficult to understand the reasoning behind the new "database with multiple data sources" paradigm. IT sounds off to me from logical prospective. I think it might make sense for

Flexible and Deep
What do you like best about the product?
The tool can be used for many different uses: Databases, wikis, notes, and CRMs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The database structure needs to be a true relational database that allows for databases to be linked without complex roll-up functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
