What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for its seamless AI integration, which is incredibly beneficial for drafting journals and logs on the fly. The AI's capability to effortlessly create different subject journals by merely prompting it makes my documentation tasks much easier. This feature is particularly helpful when I need to manage different logs, such as a health and safety log or a personal knowledge log, which I can request the AI to generate as needed. I also appreciate the ease with which I can transition from paper documents to a digital platform like Notion, enhancing my information organization and accessibility across all my devices. The initial setup was straightforward, as simple as plug and play, and when I prompted Notion AI to create a health and safety journal for me, it was done to perfection, solidifying my positive experience with the setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced a couple of freezes in Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize my health and safety logs, avoiding scattered information. The AI integration helps me draft logs quickly, enhancing real-time management. I also greatly value the relations and automations features, which are very helpful in enhancing my workflows. The flexibility and options for group spaces provided by Notion are significant, having prompted my team to switch from Google Drive due to these advantages. While I have prior experience and found the setup manageable, I appreciate that Notion offers robust features that, although they require some learning, ultimately provide comprehensive solutions for organizing both work and personal goal tracking, planning, and chores.

I use Notion primarily for organizing live production work and efficiently sharing notes with everyone involved in the project. This capability saves me a considerable amount of time by enabling easy distribution and clearly informing different departments of necessary tasks, such as costume changes or lighting adjustments, in real-time. I appreciate how Notion allows me to freewrite my notes and then effortlessly reorganize them into lists or tables, helping me to clearly see what tasks need to be prioritized and which can wait. This reorganization feature is pivotal in managing my workflow effectively and ensuring all aspects of the production are on track. Notion’s approach significantly streamlines communication and task management in live production settings, exemplifying its effectiveness and time-saving quality in my daily operations.

I don't like how the PDF text transfer feature in Notion tends to summarize content rather than providing a word-for-word transfer, which is something I often need. Moreover, the formatting sometimes becomes disorganized, with sentences split into multiple lines. The initial setup of Notion wasn't entirely smooth either, as it took a few tries to get everything right.

Notion's AI features add substantial value to my experience, even though I wish I had more credits to explore them further. I find the ability to save posts directly from social media extremely convenient, allowing me to collate and refer back to important information seamlessly. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, which made integrating Notion into my workflow smooth and effortless. I'm very likely to recommend Notion to friends or colleagues, as it effectively meets my needs for organizing information and enhances productivity.

I dislike that I cannot test more of the AI features in Notion due to the limitation of credits.

I wish there was a better page feature for documents inside Notion. I find it difficult to keep a lot of information on any certain Notion page. It would be cool if you could open up doc templates in the side of the Notion page for easier use in writing

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's high customizability. It allows me to add and customize pages into a comprehensive workspace, perfect for note-taking and sharing notes with my students. I find the ability to reference links and add icons, links, and photos exceptionally useful, especially when I'm organizing blogs or lists. Notion's different online templates are a boon, making my tasks so much easier and more efficient. These features really enrich my experience, adding versatility to the platform and helping me manage tasks, projects, and documents seamlessly in one integrated space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion's offline use less effective as its capabilities are limited without internet access. For beginners, the platform can be overwhelming due to its complexity, sometimes causing new users to quit. Although the customization options are robust, they contribute to the complexity, making it harder for users to navigate. Additionally, large pages and heavy databases tend to load slowly, especially when offline, which affects productivity and user experience.

I use Notion as an all-in-one workspace for managing tasks, projects, and documents, and for note-taking and sharing class notes with students.

The configurability of Notion also stands out to me, as it adapts effortlessly to my preferred way of working, thus enhancing our team's collaboration on working documents and projects as our business scales. The platform's ability to ensure information is shared and documented correctly is invaluable to our growing operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Notion is a bit too easy to edit, which can lead to accidental deletions due to excessive clicking. The permission settings also need improvement, as they currently don't allow for differentiation between full edit access and more limited types of edits. Additionally, the initial setup experience was not user-friendly, posing challenges in getting everything started smoothly.

Can't live without it
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has been a game changer. I'm in the process of starting up my company and being able to organise absolutely everything with Notion Ai at hand to format, create my databases...... I cannot put into words how much this software rescued me from spiralling off into failure. I use it daily and its has become my central Dashboard. It was easy to work with, and after a week or so, I was flying. Ive even used it to get my personal life into order and I get the results I'm seeking immediately. I absolutely love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
By signing up early and not being entirely familiar with SaaS pricing models, I ended up switching back and forth between Plus and Business plans. This left me somewhat confused about exactly how much I paid during my first two months. However, regardless of what the actual cost was, the value I've received from Notion in that time has been x-times greater than whatever I have spent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has been instrumental in helping me organize my entire business structure, including all of my planning and projects. It has enabled me to manage multiple timelines and forecasts simultaneously, allowing me to create something I never would have been able to achieve on my own.
