AI-Powered Workflows with Notion

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the AI assistant in Notion. It's kind of my go-to for surfacing things quickly that I've noted down somewhere and might forget. I just ask the AI assistant, and it helps bring everything to the surface promptly. It's been a game changer for my workflows. Notion has replaced several apps for me and is super helpful in managing both my work and personal tasks. It's like consolidating to-do lists and project management tools all into one place. I enjoy having it as a general knowledge base for everything in life and love how it simplifies day-to-day problems. It's also integrated with other tools I use, making it a central hub.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's a lot of templates that are available. Sometimes it's too broad. The one thing I did like about Asana, right, is it's, like, it's purely project management. Whereas Notion, you kinda have to do a little bit more building. You kinda have to customize it. Sometimes I can kind of get into a little bit of analysis paralysis when setting up some of the things. There's a great amount of templates, but sometimes my brain just really has to dive into the template and understand how it works before I can make sense of how to actually move forward turning it into something I can use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion collapses multiple apps into one, like task lists and project management tools. It's a knowledge base, helps manage chores with my kids, and simplifies day-to-day tasks. At work, it transcribes meetings, creates tasks, and serves as my second brain.

Flexible Database and Dashboard Solution with a Learning Curve

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility and diverse usage of Notion. It's where I create tables, databases, and personal dashboards. I appreciate having everything stored in one location, which means I no longer have to search around for different things. I enjoy building my own databases with the information I need and filtering them out as required. Plus, the ability to have multiple, so-called brains to use is quite appealing. The familiarity of creating a document like a word processing file makes it user-friendly. Whether it's for church, sermons, personal use, or business, I can do it all under one app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that at times as the program gets better and grows, sometimes learning the new features gets a little bit time consuming. And so, you sometimes avoid using them because of the learning curve. I wish that it was simple as it is now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion eliminates the hassle of scattered information by storing everything in one place. I can build and filter databases with ease, handle diverse tasks like sermon planning, meetings, and personal organization efficiently. It solves most of our planning and organizing challenges.

Great for Organizing Notes, But Migration Is Challenging

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The goal is to try and get my textual notes (and interactions, importantly) organized and integrated in a way that I can interrogate them and get more value form them. Notion is the closest application I have come across that accomplishes this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transitioning from my existing system to Notion has proven to be the biggest challenge. It’s not a knock against Notion per se, but it makes it difficult to fully migrate and use Notion the way I want. I have notes and files all over my Mac in Notes.app, on my iPad (in Goodnotes for example). Handwritten notes, etc. I have Trello databases, shared notes with colleagues, etc. How can I possibly get to a point where it’s all in Notion and organized?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to track project and information updates on those projects in an effective manner. The problem previously was that I’d keep track of everything in a decentralized way. I thought that was most efficient: use the best tool for the job (of, say, project management, live note taking, progress tracking, etc.). As I have gotten older, I have a lot of trouble keeping track of what is where. It has basically all fallen apart. The aspiration of getting everything into Notion feels like I can finally solve the problem of how I manage information and notes (if I can complete the migration).

Powerful AI and Database Integrations for Effortless Setup

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Databases and template integrations. Also the AI being able to quickly standup and help iterate on complex database setups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI can’t create templates or buttons, making it still require a lot of manual work.

Also whitespace handling is weird when trying to add new lines or deal with columns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mind map and life management. I put workouts, journaling, notes for projects, etc.

Accurate Transcription Meets Seamless Task Assignment

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion takes meeting notes, writes action items, and saves time. The transcription and task assignment are excellent, especially compared to other apps, where transcription is often inaccurate and tasks are not assigned correctly. I think it’s actually awesome. I also find it pretty easy to set up and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to take meeting notes, write action items, and save time. It's great for transcription and task assignments, which are more accurate compared to other apps.
