Highly Flexible for Organizing Vast Information
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to organize and map out my tasks in Notion. The platform's flexibility in allowing multiple types of content on one page, like AI notes, tables, images, and more, significantly enhances my ability to find and retrieve information. The connections with other apps like Slack and Cursor integrate seamlessly with my workflow, simplifying my task management process. Notion's simple initial setup makes it accessible for new users, and even though adding connectors is slightly more complex, the comprehensive documentation makes it manageable. The software's capability to tie different pieces together using databases is invaluable for my productivity, even though the database display could use some improvement, particularly when working with images. I truly appreciate Notion's integration with tools like Linear, Cursor, Slack, and having the possibility to use Claude and ChatGPT alongside it. Overall, Notion complements other products I use extensively, and I would highly recommend it to others, scoring it a perfect 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find working with databases in Notion to be a bit annoying, as displaying information from them can be tricky. For instance, when an image is placed in a cell within a database, it becomes difficult to enlarge it sufficiently for others to view it comfortably in a grid, which is often necessary for design feedback. Moreover, I feel that the multipurpose connections could further improve to facilitate easier feedback collection directly from Slack or Linear.

I use Notion to easily find and retrieve information, tie different pieces together, and efficiently organize and plan various tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Breadcrumbs sometimes cause me headaches, especially when building complex systems with nested pages. Navigation can become confusing because breadcrumbs do not always maintain the context of how I am navigating. For instance, when opening a page inside an inline database view, using the breadcrumbs to navigate back might land me in the original database page instead of where I expect to be. This can be confusing and poses issues related to security as well.

I use Notion as a central hub for organizing documentation and using Notion AI to find the right answers and produce all kinds of content with personalized templates. This enhances my business operations with its flexibility and ability to integrate with other tools.

I love Notion because it offers an incredible variety of formatting tools and different types of blocks that can be utilized creatively. My favorite features are the notion blocks like collapsible sections, to-do lists, and signature blocks, which allow me to craft complex and interrelated notes. This flexibility in formatting really enables me to organize and structure my notes in a detailed and interconnected manner, tailored perfectly to my specific needs, whether for personal or work-related documentation. I also appreciate the delightful interface and user experience it provides for taking and creating well-documented notes. These features collectively enhance my note-taking and organizational tasks, making them not only efficient but also enjoyable.

I find Notion to be quite buggy overall. The undo and redo functionalities don't work perfectly, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the Notion AI is very slow and inconsistent in its performance. There are many rough edges in the platform. When Notion grows large, it becomes problematic, slow, and cumbersome to use.

Sometimes the AI writing assistant makes mistakes or misinterprets my ideas. Also, I would like to have the ability to manually edit table presentations. Additionally, I find the current integrations limited, and I wish more integrations could be added more easily.

Given that I have a multinational team, the ability to easily switch languages significantly improves communication and collaboration among my team members. Furthermore, Notion helps me manage projects and databases efficiently while simplifying note-taking, which saves me a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI on the phone could be improved, especially for recording phone meetings, as a large part of business is conducted directly over the phone. Secondly, I would like to see better integration with more applications, like WeChat.

Notion saves me time in project management, databases, and note-taking. The flexibility and ease of use, as well as the ability to switch between languages, are assets for my international team.
