Powerful Multifunctional Tool with Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can put tasks in Notion and automate the process for checking and tracking them, which helps me organize different parts of my life in one place. The automation allows me to filter easily and pick out the specific KPIs I want to look at without manually sorting through all the data. Additionally, the AI assistant is great because it helps me build everything out so I don't have to learn the complexities of Notion to make it do what I want it to do. This is especially useful, as I create content for three different platforms and have two other projects I'm working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't feel like it's as user-friendly as it could be in terms of understanding how to make it look visually attractive. And I feel like it could use help with connecting pieces in a more varied way. The initial setup wasn't easy for me. I finally started using the AI to build it out for me because I was frustrated with trying to figure out how to get it to do what I wanted it to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize tasks for content creation, using the AI assistant to simplify setup. It automates tracking and keeps different parts of my life in one place. Automation helps filter data, saving time by avoiding manual sorting.

Notion makes it incredibly easy to collaborate with my teammates. Having a central place to store all of our company information that can be updated on the fly is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes come across some performance issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a central repository for our company. We have it strucutured in away that makes it very easy for all employees to access information, update information & share information. I have it bookmarked and visit it almost daily.
Efficient Organization, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I think Notion looks beautiful, which I really like. The AI integration is helpful for recording and organizing, as my folders can be chaos, and finding things is easier with the search function. I also appreciate that I can base content searches to generate new content. Starting with Notion is easy, and I find its block features, especially the Markdown syntax content, impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing is the price is higher than I expected. Just like if I do some subscription for Chesapeake here or maybe cloud, it's only $20. But I want to use this kind of recording, the meetings. I need to pay 24 per month. I think it's higher than my expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me record meetings to get tasks rather than just storing voice. The AI tools improve search and content generation, organizing my chaotic folders and efficiently evaluating answers.
Seamless Onboarding with Powerful Slack, Drive & Gmail Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations with slack & drive & gmail, helps me get context on tasks easily. I recently started my currentl role and it made my onboarding experience seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sidebar is too crowded and hard to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of fragmented information by syncing Slack, Drive, and Gmail into one hub. This creates a single source of truth that not only helps me stay organized but also allows coding agents like Claude Code to access the full context of my tasks instantly.
Impressive Variety of Use Cases
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of use cases. You can create almost any organisation/management system you can imagine.
What do you dislike about the product?
The windows app feels a bit worse than the browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for day to day organisation and task management. I also use it for project management when working on larger things. It is great to have both within one application.
Streamlined Productivity with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's clean design and AI integration. It's easy to use and offers a place where I can quickly create databases for things like tasks or projects and track them all quickly and effectively in one place. I appreciate the markdown formatting, which is easy to use and straightforward. Integration with other tools is also a gem. The integrated AI features are by far one of the best selling points for my use cases as they save time by helping me extract information and knowledge from different notes quickly and effectively, allowing me to prepare for calls much quicker than before. I found the initial setup very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
What doesn't work for me is the AI meeting notes feature in Notion. The AI meeting notes functionality is not flexible at all. For example, it has a limitation that it cannot capture participant names, so the actions it assigns don't have any owners. This is usually a problem for calls with multiple participants and lots of actions. I end up having to copy-paste the meeting transcript manually from another tool and let Notion analyze that, but unfortunately, it doesn't support importing the meeting transcripts and depends on you actually recording the meeting using Notion AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I quickly create and track tasks, projects, and notes in one place using Notion. It's easy to use, integrates with other tools, and the markdown formatting is straightforward. The AI features save me time by helping me extract information effectively, especially for preparing calls.
Powerful AI Assistant with Natural Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I think the experience of conversing with the AI writing assistant in Notion is very well done. It gives me the feeling of being in control of a powerful tool. Specifically, the workflow of accepting little bits of text and rejecting others feels very natural. It makes it fast to draft documents from a blank page and effectively gets rid of writer's block.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the text generation part could be faster. It takes a long time to generate a full page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to draft engineering design docs and for bug bashes. The AI assistant makes the experience powerful, natural, and helps eliminate writer's block by making it fast to draft documents from a blank page.
Love the platform. Probably not getting the most out of it.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to connect with other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't always find things. Not used to using the file management system. I'm sure I'll get used to it after i spend more time in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great way for or team to create and share text based documents. I use it with the Claude dektop connector. I work in sales and have claude connected to my emails, hubspot, and our internal systems. I have claude generate call prep notes using notion. I can easily view and shre these with my team.
Intuitive, Customizable, Yet Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion to be very user-friendly and intuitive. I also like that I can personalize the content hosted there. The ability to make content public is also something I appreciate, and it can be done fairly easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I compare Notion to Asana for project management purposes, I think that Notion could do a little better in terms of being more user-friendly. It seems that when you want to have certain things for project management, you actually have to build out the Notion boards. And if you don't know how to do that, the tool doesn't work for that purpose. Unlike Asana, which is built for project management, where you just need to input information without having to build much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize information and make it accessible to everyone in our company. It's great for project management, hosting team agendas, tracking notes on projects, and having public operation dashboards for all to see.
