What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a tool that helps consolidate a lot of tools and tasks in one place from notes to databases and project planning. It's super easy to use and extremely collaborative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It's super easy to get going and it comes with a selection of templates to help with the starting point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is our central knowledge hub – perfect for notes, knowledge sharing, and project planning. In fact, it's the go-to platform for almost everything we do. With the newly updated AI-powered search finding relevant information and getting answers to your questions is faster and easier than ever.

Some UI issues, but generally a great experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of formatting (especially toggle sections and coloring), notion AI in the main app is quite helpful, sharing is easy and synced blocks are also an awesome feature
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UI in the mac app behaves really weird, e.g. it won't show the 6 dots on the left of a block to drag it. On an iPad without a keyboard, rearranging blocks is almost impossible. Sometimes it will allow me to edit one part of the page but not the other. It it is because of access settings, it would be great to have a more clear indication in the UI. Also, Notion main seems really unfinished, it kept completely freezing on my Mac so can't use it right now. Additionally, it won't allow me to add a logo/picture to my default signature, even though the same one works fine on gmail/outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps build guides for employees for internal processes. For project management we also try using tables/timelines in notion, but it seems overly complicated and not very intuitive to use

The Central Nervous System of Our Company

  • May 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, I’ve used many productivity tools over the years, but Notion stands out as a game-changer. It’s not just a note-taking app or a task manager — it’s the central hub for all our company’s operations.

At both the personal and team level, Notion helps me stay organized and aligned. I manage my own work, track tasks, and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues. Across the entire company, Notion serves as the single source of truth — we use it to manage projects, centralize documentation, and gather all institutional knowledge in one place. The transparency and accessibility it provides are unmatched.

Specifically for my role in BI, Notion has become essential. I define, organize, and document all of our company metrics directly in Notion, creating a clear, consistent framework that everyone can refer to. Even better, I’ve connected Notion to Tableau, so I can control how KPIs are displayed and interpreted through Notion pages — blending dynamic data visualization with contextual documentation in a way that enhances decision-making.

Notion AI has also been a huge help. It streamlines repetitive tasks, polishes up documentation, and even helps generate content drafts — saving me time and boosting the quality of our internal communication.

Overall, Notion saves me hours of work every week. It’s flexible, powerful, and genuinely improves how we work as individuals and as a company. I can't imagine managing my workload — or our collective knowledge — without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Notion is incredibly powerful for organization and collaboration, its design capabilities are limited. Customizing layouts, fonts, or visual elements can be restrictive, especially for teams wanting more visually engaging or branded pages. A bit more flexibility here would make an already great tool even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me stay organized, both personally and with my team. It solves the problem of scattered information by centralizing all our tasks, projects, and documentation in one place. As a BI Analyst, I use it to define and manage company metrics, and even connect it to Tableau to control how KPIs are displayed. Notion AI saves me hours each week by automating tasks and improving my documentation. While I’d love more design flexibility, Notion has become essential to how I work and collaborate.

Happy user

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has replaced my need to use many other tools like word and sheets. I love how organised I have become once I learned how everything works. I use Notion every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it took me a while to get to grips how to use everything and still struggle with some elements as I've not memorised all the short cuts yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing all my information and documents in one place, that easy to search

An LLM-friendly, central, shareable knowledge management system with variable quality AI

  • May 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Foremost, it is LLM-friendly in being able to audit and transcribe interactions with LLMs. The AI functionality is very useful but can be quite patchy in consistency and effectiveness.
It is great for solopreneurs, sharing workspaces with similar others globally.
It is also very configurable...and is always improving.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI functionality is quite patchy in consistency and effectiveness. E.g. the in-page AI, operating on selected blocks, even with access scope set to All, is not very clever or consistent.
The main AI (bottom-right) is much better but you can't copy/paste the page citations within the results into a page. This is highly annoying.
Also Copy Link To Block would be very useful but, when such a link is clicked on, it rarely pans to the block itself so you still have to do a search in-page.
Page Comments could also be much more useful, e.g. being able to create a ToC of them against their anchor blocks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage, search and configure my knowledge.
Being able to quickly create/configure databases, pages...though there is a bit of a learning curve.
Being able to use AI to improve writing, search/summarise content.
Being able to paste-link blocks to quickly create new prompts for LLMs.
Being able to copy/paste prompts to/from LLMs in a compatible manner (e.g. vs MS Word).
Being able to integrate with other common platforms (e.g. Fireflies).
Being able to access the API to provide extra functionality Notion doesn't already provide - though this is an ongoing learning curve.
