Customizable AI Agent = Gamechanger--Needs Better MCP Connection
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion and Notion AI every day to keep track of and interact with my tasks, projects, notes, and resources from the internet. While I've used the paid versions of ChatGPT and Claude in the past, Notion AI has become my main hub for anything AI-related. Through Notion AI, I've been able to create a personalized AI agent experience--and I power that with additional support from Claude, which can be linked via Notion MCP. This way, I can use different personalities for different outputs I want to create with the help of AI--like being able to shift the tone for a professional message vs a message for a friend, in exactly the way I would write--by setting and picking the correct mode easily. Notion AI helps customize outputs in ways I haven't seen with other AI services. I also use it for easy data crunching for strength training, which saves me about 20-30 mins per week. I upload screenshots of my exercise plan for the upcoming week, plop in a prompt I have saved into Notion, and it generates a custom plan for me so that I can just look at my Notion and find the correct weights that I'll need every day. This reduces a lot of friction for me, which helps me actually get to the exercising bit consistently! Setting up Notion with the AI agent system I purchased was pretty simple and has greatly enhanced my experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys experimenting with systems like this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the Notion to Claude integration work better. Sometimes the MCP is connected and other times it'll just drop suddenly. If your WiFi kept dropping suddenly, it would be really annoying, and it's like that. I'm paying $240 extra per year for Claude and find it a valuable addition to Notion AI, so I do get rather aggravated when it keeps dropping--and reconnecting manually doesn't always do the trick. I'd say the integration with Claude works about 50% of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track tasks and projects, manage notes, and customize AI tasks. It personalizes outputs in a way I haven't been able to do with other AI tools, which is huge--it's like having unlimited memory settings. It also manages my weight training and is basically my brain hub these days.
Comprehensive and Insightful, Yet Requires Effort
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion for managing my team and organizing meeting notes. I love that it provides the ability to have all my meeting notes in one place, with an AI summary and next steps feature. I also really like its comprehensive reach and consider it a knowledge management software that makes all the difference for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes a little difficult to integrate into clips and collection of future oriented activities. It requires some effort to set up, and its comprehensive nature demands intentionality to establish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps all my meeting notes in one place and provides AI summaries with next steps, enhancing organization and team management.
Customization That Perfectly Fits Our Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion is fully customizable compared to other similar apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Notion Page structure but sometimes it complicates things at least for me. There is a novelty with apps like Obsidian where I can easily capture a single note but in Notion its a page which feels heavy. It might be more of a psychological thing when it comes to these note apps where I lean towards traditional single note structures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is one of the best collaborative note taking apps on the market and I have used pretty much all of them. We use it at our firm to keep the design team in sync. It is only two of us but it helps with meeting and project notes. We are also going to be using the AI integration instead of one-off modal chats with free ai tools like ChatGPT. That way we can build shared workflows in our AI processes going forward.
Centralized Hub for All Company Knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Single place as SoT for the company, we have all the documentation, weekly updates, processes, how we work there
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing a Google Sheet concept, or the tables concepts which are not easy to edit modify etc...

Simplicity and Aesthetic Appeal for Solo Users
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for organizing my life and school tasks. The ability to create a page for anything is great. I really appreciate its simplicity and how the aesthetic and workflow are easy on the eyes. Notion makes organizing more fun and organized without being overwhelming. The initial setup was easy, even though there was a learning curve, but after two years, I've definitely picked up skills along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Notion Labs focused more on individual users such as myself. They have completely pivoted to only pioneering their services to large-scale teams and startups, and I feel like individual users such as myself are being left behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for organizing life and school tasks. It allows me to create a page for anything, making my life more fun and organized without being overwhelming.
Flexible Yet Overwhelming for Some
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Notion for task planning, note-taking, and tracking goals. Notion solves the problem of scattered information for me by keeping everything in one organized system, which helps me stay focused and reduces mental clutter. What I like most about Notion is its flexibility; I can structure it exactly the way my brain works rather than being forced into a fixed system. It's simple on the surface but powerful once you start customizing it. The feature of blocks is key, allowing me to mix text, checklists, databases, and links on the same page and rearrange them anytime. Databases are particularly useful because I can view the same information as a list, table, or calendar without rewriting anything. Blocks make it easy to build and change things quickly, and databases help turn simple notes into something structured, allowing me to filter, sort, and track progress. Together, they keep everything organized while staying flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that Notion can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many ways to set things up. It also depends heavily on an internet connection, so offline use isn’t great. Performance can slow down on very large databases. None of these are deal-breakers, but they’re areas that could definitely improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered information by keeping everything in one organized system. It helps me stay focused and reduces mental clutter.
Worst customer support ever. Another company that will fall like for not providing good support.
What do you like best about the product?
not anymore. I don't like it anymore, it's better to create an in house app
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow support response on what they should help faster. it seems that no time for AI to your support. Shame on you
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It didn't solve the most important one where i was able to see how bad notion is
Streamlined Organization, A Student's Essential
What do you like best about the product?
I really like using Notion because it lets me organize things into a database. I can have notes that are categorized, tagged, and are filterable and siftable, which makes it easy to summarize. The formatting is simple, straightforward, and helps me organize my life efficiently. It makes information accessible and summarizable for me, and also makes it easier to use overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the AI assistant had a voice mode. I bought it for the first time a few days ago to help me study for final exams. And it was useful. But I really wish I could talk to it. And I really wish also that it had history that could show up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize lectures and plan life. It lets me organize notes into a database with categorization, tagging, filtering, and summarizing. It's straightforward, easy to use, and helps make information accessible and easier to manage.
Flexible Data Management with Room for AI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for organizing my personal life and side projects. It solves the problem of keeping different files and information clear and accessible. I really appreciate its ability to have highly flexible data structures, allowing me to link different types of information together, which would be very difficult otherwise. The initial setup was very easy, especially since I'm a developer, and I also use Notion with other tools like Claude & Notion calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most things work quite well, some areas of improvement could be making AI more useful. I know it's new and a work in progress, however, it's very basic at the moment. I would like to have a better file management system where I could see and search for files more easily. Particularly PDFs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my personal life and side projects by keeping different files and information clear and accessible, and linking different types of information together easily.
