Simple and Powerful Work / Personal Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of picking up Notion and improving your collaboration with teammates are easily my favorite things about Notion. It's helped me communicate effectively with my team by reducing a lot of back and forth that we traditionally didn't have with other collaborative workspace tools. I'm also very excited by the number of new AI features being released so often. It's also helped me keep my life more organized with friends and family, and we can often collaborate on trips or events we plan together :)
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some small design decisions of where a specific button or editing function is that sometimes is difficult to find. Other than that, I don't have any real complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Open collaboration, simplifying our project management operations, and acting as a knowledge base for all company information and resources. It also helps us stay organized as a team and have one central spot for sources of truth.
Best organising system for work&life
What do you like best about the product?
I can have all of my projects on one same space, as well as my personal things. I literally organise my whole life on Notion, from new projects for work, to my personal appointments and calendar. I use it every single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the AI could be better, in the sense of having a chat with it, being able to continue with the questions, just like the chat in chat gpt. It's easier to give feedback that way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me edit my writing, reate great translations, organise my workflow, keep my projects well organized and with good content

What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI has become an incredibly useful tool that truly simplifies my daily workflow. What I appreciate most is its ability to create pages and content, add links, and even enhance the aesthetic appeal of a page with just a simple command. The work just gets done!
For someone like me, who works as a career coach, it has been absolutely fundamental and a massive time-saver. The AI makes it much simpler to create datasets, research information, and maintain consistency across my work because it's always building on the existing history. It's truly a game-changer for efficiency.

Sometimes, the AI can freeze and become quite slow, which can interrupt the flow of work. Also, I've noticed it's not as efficient at providing improvements to existing pages. It shines brightest when you need to create something entirely from scratch.

I like how, when struggling with words or just a general idea, Notion AI helps by giving me the ability to perfectly format words and see my ideas plainly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain limitations that come from using the AI, such as detailed thoughts or sometimes, it won't really do what I've asked from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a writer, I struggle with seeing my planning in front of me. With Notion, I am able to make detailed tables to help organize my characters and other plot ideas.

What do you like best about the product?
It does everything. I no longer need a CMS, note taking app, DB app, calendar etc. notion links it all in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the AI was unrestricted like Grok. Sometimes when I’m recording a meeting and there’s some dirty or colorful language the AI will not output the summary. Seeing as I work on movie and book scripts this makes it challenging

So far I haven't found any. I have a lot more playing with it to see what it doesn't do.

Notion has become an extension of my mind, and an essential tool I use throughout the day...
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to store information quickly; then I can return to it later to revise it, and categorize it. Creating a web of interconnected articles ties it all together into an easy to access the knowledge base I'm building.
Managing tasks is straightforward, integration with external tools is straightforward, and enables the create of complex workflows.
I use it throughout the day, it has become an indispensable part of my work. I have found it so useful at work, that I have purchased a license for my personal life as well.
I haven't had to use customer support at all. The application is that easy to use, and the documentation that robust.

The electron application could be a bit more stable; it crashes on me at least once or twice a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is a modern day equivalent of Hypercard, one of the most powerful pieces of software available on early mackintoshes. It allows me to build a deeply interconnected knowledge base that mirrors the way my mind works. In essence the tool takes the shape of each user. The amount of information I have to deal with has only increased, and Notion allows me to easily keep track of what's important, and ignore what isn't.

What do you like best about the product?
- Really amazing UX and easy to work with it. Databases are super powerful and I love how it integrates in so many workflows. Templates is something I use as well. Like ability to mention people and pages. Ability to embed various other things docs/links/loom videos/youtube videos/github PRs is great! I just love that. For project management and working with various TODOs is great too. I love the new AI features: specially Search with AI, AI editor to rewrite my sentences with clarity. I also use it to extend and brainstorm ideas by providing current context and ask it to generate further.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with tables. If there are lot of columns in the table, it gets really difficult to bring specific column to view. Also if someone has commented on something, I usually go from highlight in the column to comment. It is not trivial to understand where the comment is . It is sometimes very not-user-friendly.
I also find it difficult at times to add a new block below table. Have to struggle with context menu. Not always but often.
I also find sometimes notion search is slow in a really large org, AI search helps.
I also ran into issues of importing a large CSV to a notion table or database, and it didn't work at all.

- Notion allows me to write documents and allow me to refine my writing through AI writing assistant. It also helps me change my tone based on the audience I am addressing
- It allows me to collaborate with many people in the team and tables as well as databases allow project management and tasks really good.
- I work in a large org and I need to find lot of things from simple text to even errors in code. The AI search is great for that.
