My experience with notion is extremely satisfactory, both personally and professionally.
What do you like best about the product?
The most useful thing about using Notion for me is being able to centralize all my personal, academic and professional activities and documents in a single application, being able to segment them so that they don't get messy and through quick clicks I can access everything I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that I have to download the calendar application instead of it already being contained within the application itself ends up making me have to use two different applications, compromising usability on my cell phone, for example.

What do you like best about the product?
Whether you're not so tech-y or your coding expert, Notion makes it incredibly easy and satisfying to use it's software. I use Notion for many things (e.g. language learning resource/vocab database, sleep tracker, journal, story planner, etc). You can get such a great use out of it, I know that having not even cracked the code on most of the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of customization features. Users should be able to dictate a page's colors, fonts, backgrounds in a way that's more intuitive than it is now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By allowing me to keep a bulk of information in one place, it benefits my organization skills!
The best tool for personal and project organization and management
What do you like best about the product?
It's very customizable. You can adapt it to your needs and make it uniquely useful to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a bit difficult to first get to know how to use Notion. Like the learning curve could take a bit longer than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in events so basically in Notion I manage all the stages of the event creation and implementation process. Notion helps me make my events a reality and also helps me keep all my credentials and resources in one place.
The best note taking software so far
What do you like best about the product?
Like the way where you can linking up different notes and sharing with others, so easy to use and great options of customisation
What do you dislike about the product?
Still find it a bit difficult to manage tables, that would have been great if hotkeys can be applied the same way we use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maining using it as a knowledge base for myself and helps with organising notes and troubleshooting
Great for Organization

The Best Productivity Tool on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Notion is its sleek and intuitive UI/UX design. The ability to create virtually limitless spaces for storing information is fantastic. Plus, the collaborative features make it easy to work with colleagues and friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Notion could improve in its handling of tables, particularly with formulas and calculations. I've found it challenging to understand and use these features, which makes it difficult to rely on Notion over Excel for charts and tables. If these aspects were more intuitive, I'd be more likely to use Notion for those tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing Information: It allows me to keep all my notes, documents, and resources in one place, eliminating the need for multiple apps.
Managing Projects and Tasks: With its customizable databases and task boards, I can easily track projects and deadlines, helping me stay organized and on top of my workload.
Collaborating with Others: Notion's collaborative features make it simple to work with colleagues, share updates, and communicate in real-time.
Organizing Knowledge: It lets me create structured wikis and knowledge bases, making it easy to store and find information when I need it.

Great platform to collaborate with research lab colleagues and keep resources centralized
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to link to just about anything. Easy referral to other pages. Ability to comment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very scientifically geared, e.g. tables cannot perform simple calculations. Can't print a page directly without exporting and downloading. Bit of a learning curve when first setting up because of its flexibility in features. Attaching screenshots and moving things around in a page are a little clunky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping physical lab notebooks are increasingly a thing of the past but other available electronic solutions can be clunky in terms of its collaborativeness. Notion helps project management by being able to easily link to other existing projects / pages. Ability to organize pages is unique. Being able to effectively search for protocols, reagents, etc in not only my notes but also in lab members' notes helps productivity and makes collaborative projects easier to log.
If you're looking for functionality, but don't care about attractiveness, Notion is for you!
What do you like best about the product?
Functionality. It's a great tool for providing SOPs and material in an easy/efficient manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is not attractive to me. It's clean and effective, but doesn't give me instant spark to want to dive in because of the lack of 'wow'.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving an all in one place for "knowledge" to a large group of people. Before we had information scattered across different platforms i.e. google sites, slides, etc. but now we have it all in one place.
Notion has changed the way I work for the better
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility in how to view data, easy formatting controls for notes, minimal but attractive UI that keeps you coming back. We've gone through so many different tools for tracking tasks, notes, and documentation, and this is the only one that's lived up to its promises. Love the kanban board and calendar views especially for how they've helped me keep organized over the last few years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the options can get overwhelming, especially once you start trying to get into granular stuff around relational database entries. It works best when you keep it simple or really carefully design your systems. Too bad you can't share just a specific view of a database with clients without their being able to see the whole thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion lets you make your own knowledge system, and mix and match notes in with databases that you can view as lists, calendars, kanban boards, timelines, etc. Most project management software is either overly simple, or the complexity is constantly smacking you in the face. Notion tucks the fancy stuff away until you need it. And for note-taking and documentation, Notion gives you just enough control over formatting that you can make it visually interesting and readable, but not so much that you can waste time on layout or styling. Notion helps me get the important stuff done (planning and tracking my tasks, taking notes, organizing documentation) without getting lost in the details.
