A Clean & flexible platform for organizing your work
What do you like best about the product?
Notion replaces a lot of the Google suite tools, and because it's not made by Google, it's visually pleasant and user-friendly easy to to work with. It has advanced features but lightweight enough none of these are a barrier to using it immediately.
Notion is also good for collaboration -- each document has easy to understand, fine-grained permissions and it's easy to comment, link to or mention internal and external documents.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Notion has reached the point where it suffers from feature bloat. There are probably too many features at this point, and I'd rather they prune some of the ones that are distracting, and focus on performance / UX clarity.
The NotionAI pop up is pretty annoying, it's easy to trigger accidentally, and I've never used it because I can't think of any use case in which it would be helpful. If I need boilerplate copy I go to ChatGPT directly. The AI search is vaguely useful but I'd feel more confident in the results if I could get links to source documents. The task I have the most trouble with is using advanced database features, perhaps if Notion AI could suggest alternate ways to organize info (but only if its unobtrusive / happens when I ask -- we don't want a "Clippy" scenario).
For users who belong to multiple Notion workspaces, the dropdown toggle is a bit annoying. I wish I could have a homepage that let me pull from different workspaces, or keep global favorites in the sidebar (pulling from any workspace I belong to). I also wish it was easier to see when I have notifications in workspace A when I primarily spend time in workspace B.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a software engineer at a medium sized consultancy. Notion helps me collaboration with coworkers and external stakeholders , manage non-technical work (especially QA and Support tickets, surveys, etch), take notes at meetings, draft routine communications (although I wish the formatting was more consistent when I paste them into Gmail) and read company manuals.
Best AI knowledge manager I've come across
What do you like best about the product?
The ease to build and house and customize resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I see l dislike yet but I do wish it cost a little less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before notion started using AI to search the knowledge base, I was trying to build an FAQ bot in our CRM which was cumbersome. Meanwhile, we were already storing all of our resources in notion which we call the wiki. I didn't have to continue to build an FAQ bot because notion does it all!
I'm still new but so far so good
What do you like best about the product?
templates are really helpful, so many options to choose from
What do you dislike about the product?
very heavy on my laptop, I want the AI to help me organize my schedule
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
tracking my goals, it helps with the option of detailing my work to the smallest task
Love Notion!
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly and buttery UX. Notion AI has been really good at creating databases / tables which has saved me so much time. I also use it to generate templates and doc skeletons for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating a database can be confusing. i wish i could add bullet points within the cell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating templates and database tables!

Building specification documents to bring clarity to team.
AI Writing Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has completely changed how I manage product knowledge. From organizing team projects and support guides to using the AI tool for smarter search and content writing, it’s made my workflow far more efficient and collaborative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion isn't the only resource I use, but I would say that mobile and desktop app can be a little clunky at times. I find myself using also the browser
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to collaborate, easy to index information across multiple platforms and built in tools for external ai on top of the ai tool available internally
Notion is awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Consistently great updates that address all the things I keep wanting more of. Love the easy UI - makes it more fun to work
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be some ramp up period if you haven't used it before - but well worth it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it to search across all apps like slack, google drive etc. successfully. Saving me a lot of time messaging team mates for questions. Really useful so far especially since all the team is already using it. Don't need to add another app.
Streamlining a single source of knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
I already loved Notion—I use it daily as a place to keep track of notes, todos, etc. I love the fact that I can have one single place that's so highly customized for just me, with all the knowledge I need, organized and readily accessible. It's freeform enough that I can make it work for any application I have as a designer, yet structured enough that I don't have to spend a ton of needless time fine tuning the system to work. Notion AI is so incredibly useful to me in managing my knowledge, and they keep updating it to do even more. The Meeting Notes block they just added has been immensely useful to me, and the fact that all of the answers Notion AI gives me is grounded in my workspace makes it so easy to find the information i'm looking for and to connect the dots across different domains.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that I wish Notion had is the ability to add handwritten notes—I'd love to quickly sketch out ideas or jot things down, especially since I'm a really visual person. I moved from Evernote, and that's one feature I really miss.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, one of the main problems Notion solves is reducing the friction in my workflow—I don't have to switch between a bunch of different apps (previously Slack, GDocs, ClickUp, and random spreadsheet trackers) and hunt down what I'm looking for when I need it. Notion has everything, all in one place, in a way that's customizable and easy to find. Notion AI makes that even better by being able to chat directly with everything that's relevant to my work life. It saves me a ton of time, and lets me stay in the flow when I'm working.
Easy to organize content and share knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great place to store and share information. It is nice to see the analytics behind who is viewing it as well. Its a great place to layer information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super intuitive to use at first, there are lots of functions that I am still learning and I find there is a steep learning curve. Sometimes information can be layered deep and too much that it gets lost!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping share information
Great for company organization, but some features could be improved
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can create timelines and tasks to make sure the team is synced up on deliverables. It is easy to use and stay organized within the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike some features like creating tables - it would be really helpful if you could use function in the tables. Right now I do all my calculations in excel or google sheets and then copy and paste.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes communication within our company super accessible. Since we are spread among 3 cities, we need to document our work very well. The way we have set up Notion in our company makes it easy to track down projects/tasks and link other relevant information.
