Intuitive Hub for Content and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion as a database for all of our content, which we can easily share with clients. It is fantastic for organizing meetings and notes. The notetaking and follow-up features act like an assistant, helping me get things done faster. Having one centralized hub for program information is a big plus. The AI agent in Notion is super helpful. Overall, it's fairly user-friendly and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to listen to a transcript after a call recording. Sometimes the transcript isn't super accurate. Sometimes it picks up the wrong words or wrong people in the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for notetaking and follow-ups; it acts as an assistant and speeds things up. It provides a centralized hub for program information, helping my team organize and share content with clients effectively.
Keeps Notes Organized with Clear, Easy Meeting Summaries
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it helps me keep my notes organized. It will summarize my meetings into short easy to follow notes too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is confusing when you first use it. I think a tutorial video would be nice to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me keep track of my projects, knowing what to do first.
Effortless Organization with Beautiful Design
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is beautiful and easy to use, which helps me be more productive. The community resource hub is great for getting ideas and sharing templates, and I appreciate the ability to calculate down and across columns. The initial setup was easy for me, and the functionality is better than the tool I used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Notion doesn't have a built-in time parameter. I've had to create so many extra workarounds just to calculate time spent on tasks like working, sleeping, or running. I'd also love the ability to roll up all sub bullets, not just under a toggle header. Having every bullet be a toggle would make my notes much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me with organization, decreases mental clutter, and acts as a memory log, making me feel on top of everything.
All-in-One Workspace That Simplifies Project Management, Docs, and Notes
What do you like best about the product?
I like having everything in one place. With Notion, I can handle project management, documentation, and meeting notes all together, which really simplifies my workflow and makes it easier to stay organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Databases offer a lot of capabilities, but they can be hard to use because formulas often become the limiting factor. I know the community has released some impressive templates, which definitely helps, but when something breaks it can still be difficult to debug the formulas. I also haven’t found much support or clear documentation online, so figuring out what’s going wrong can take more time than it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s an efficient way to create documentation collaboratively. Everyone can contribute, which is especially helpful for engineering teams. I also really like the AI assistant: it refines my writing and content, and it optimizes how I can search for information afterward.
Notion AI Made Notion Feel Simple for Organizing and Planning Goals
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI has shown me how straightforward Notion can be for organizing and planning complex goals. I had used Notion before, but I found it overwhelming and wasn’t sure where to start or how to connect different pages as I worked my way through the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really hate the white background, it was genuinely painful on my eyes. Thankfully, I found a quick YouTube video that walked me through the steps to change the background display, and that made it much more comfortable to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The note-taking software for video calls has been fantastic. I used to forget which items I had assigned to myself, but now I have a handy to-do list after every call, which makes it much easier to stay on top of my tasks.
Invaluable Daily Tool for Seamless Content Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is an incredible tool and is pretty user-friendly. It does everything I want it to, and it's organized in a way that's really understanding. Notion can replace Google Docs, providing a lot more functionality and the ability to customize things just as I would hope and want. I also appreciate how everything is organized in one place, making it easy to keep systems and databases together. It's really helpful that Notion is capable of hosting large databases of information that's easily accessible and understood by outside clients. The initial setup was pretty simple, which is great because I like to keep things simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the overall user friendliness of the platform does seem a bit of a leap to get over, and I constantly have to find myself, like, researching how to make certain things happen. And I think that that also attributes to people being slightly afraid to join the platform or get over their hunch of fear of how to use the tools. So I've noticed that in the past as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize everything in one place, making it easy for my team to see what we're working on. It facilitates communication and feedback with integrated systems and databases, solving the problem of fragmented project management.
My Second Brain for Efficient Management
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as my main space for managing my calendar, tasks, and daily activities, as well as for generating reports and building a knowledge base, all within the same workspace. I love how Notion allows me to integrate tasks, documentation, reports, and reference material in one place. The integration of the AI Agent is essential, as it manages and navigates within the workspace to find any necessary piece of information instantly and to efficiently add new information to existing cases. This tool has become my right hand in analyzing, solving, and documenting support cases. Additionally, I like how I can automate tasks directly from Gmail using make.com, which allows me to maintain a direct link between the work done and the task trigger. The initial setup of Notion was quite simple, as the learning material and YouTube videos helped me a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Notion since 2018, and the only thing I have always wanted is to have a more visually configurable report generator. Exporting PDFs is not always an option, and sometimes I have to do manual work to present the content of a report that is already on the Notion page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as my main space to manage my calendar, tasks, daily activities, and build a knowledge base. It has solved the dispersion of documents and time loss, and the AI agent generates quick responses, organizing and documenting efficiently.
Effortless Note-Taking and Cloud Access
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for transcribing meeting notes and recording thoughts during meetings, which helps me be more engaged without worrying about missing key themes or points. I like its easy-to-use meeting notes recorder and that it's hosted in the cloud, so I can access my notes on multiple devices. Being able to record notes during live presentations or Zoom/Teams calls without being restricted to one device is really convenient. The initial setup was also very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the way that additional notes/pictures/context added manually by myself could be better incorporated into the summary generated by Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for meeting notes, allowing me to focus and engage during meetings without stressing about capturing every detail. I love the easy-to-use meeting notes recorder and access across multiple devices for flexibility in recording on-the-go.
Sleek UI, Extensive Functionality, But Needs Better Apple Pencil Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's UI. It's super sleek, and the functionality is great because I have the ability to pretty much do whatever I want and make things look however I want. It's a super cool tool. It makes me more excited to utilize the tool, and it helps. It's been significantly better than my previous app, OneNote, with a lot more functionality involved. Notion makes making or taking notes fun in a way and solves a lot of me having to remember everything, so that's not an issue anymore. The initial setup was so easy, just turning it on and the initial page walked me through super basic instructions, making it easy to explore and learn on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's kind of difficult to take notes in Notion on an iPad using an Apple pencil. You can't just free write like in Notability, which has made me switch to Notability for incorporating my iPad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is my replacement for OneNote and offers much more functionality, making note-taking fun and reducing the need to remember everything. It also helps in sharing information across departments.
