What do you like best about the product?
I have so much content I’ve created over the years - things I’ve forgotten about. Notion lets me collect it all in one place and find things I’ve already created that can be useful now.

The AI sometimes can’t help me with the things I need - like linking databases

What do you like best about the product?
I love how seamless Notion is, operating smoothly in the background without requiring constant attention. It's lightweight and unobtrusive, which means it doesn’t get in the way of my work, allowing me to focus on tasks without distractions. Notion effectively handles note-taking and transcription tasks, summarizing them using AI to generate actionable lists, thus improving my organization and productivity. Furthermore, its initial setup was notably easy, making the transition to using it straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say, organizing the various pages could be improved. I still need to do more reading and research, but it's not as intuitive as I would have expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for transcribing phone calls and leveraging its database functionality, simplifying note-taking, summarizing with AI, and creating action items. It's seamless, unobtrusive, and works efficiently in the background.

I love Notion for its ability to seamlessly integrate into my workflow as I write content, specifically for financial news which automatically feeds into our internal publishing tool for efficient email distribution. The platform's tables and tagging features are invaluable for internal task monitoring, allowing structured project organization alongside clear visibility of task progress. The clean and straightforward shell structure enhances my content creation process, supporting rich formatting and image incorporation, which enhances the overall quality of my work. Notion's intuitive design makes it fast and easy to use and supports effective content management while offering robust permission controls for public and private content organization. I find the 'suggest edits' tool extremely useful, enabling clear visibility of changes with the option to accept or reject them, facilitating self-improvement and style enhancement. Additionally, the comments system is invaluable, promoting easy collaboration with the ability to tag colleagues and make real-time edits simultaneously, ensuring smoother group project coordination. Notion sets a highly positive initial experience for new team members, allowing them to log in and start working immediately without barriers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find tables in Notion to be very poor and too rigid, which makes them unusable for my needs. As a financial business, I frequently include table data in reports, but due to these limitations, I always end up taking screenshots and adding them as images instead. Additionally, I've experienced increasing buggy behavior over the last six months, which forces me to refresh the Notion page more often. This includes issues like vanishing comments until I reload the page.

I use Notion to streamline content writing and task monitoring, benefiting from its editing tools and easy collaboration, though its table functionality is limited.

I love Notion for its ability to be as flexible as I need it to be. The platform allows me to edit and create anything, keeping it as simple or as complex as I want. Unlike other programs that often come with unnecessary complexities, Notion provides the freedom to have a blank page with just a checklist if that's all I need. This simplicity is incredibly helpful, especially since many productivity tools impose stipulations, tags, or additional requirements that I don't need. Additionally, Notion helps me stay organized by keeping all my 'to-dos' in one place, which is crucial for managing school, teaching, and my Christian think tank. I also appreciate the ease of initial setup—it was very easy to get started. Moreover, I find value in connecting my Notion calendar to Google Calendar, making time management seamless. Overall, Notion's blend of simplicity, customizability, and ease of use fits perfectly with my personal and professional needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I encountered an issue with Notion AI when I tried uploading my bank statements for it to evaluate and insert data. Although it managed to perform the task, it got overwhelmed with the volume of information, leading to a prolonged loading time. This inefficiency in processing large data sets can hinder productivity and needs improvement.

Transforms Ideas into Action Instantly
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly fast, and I feel as though it works as an extension of my own mind. What truly distinguishes AI Writing Assistant from other AI platforms is its ability to actually create things like pages and databases. This feature really sets it apart. I truly use Notion DAILY, all day long. It implements well with google and google calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be a little clunky, and slow to load. I wish it could edit calendar events too. Or have a seamless transition between Notion Mail and Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us so much time. It helps me not need to spend $30/hour on an assistant, since Notion can do the work for me. It also helps plan high level projects and future plans.

The ability to customize content and data is so great. I also love that you can move content blocks around. The functionality makes our knowledge bases and guides much more user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when there is a lot of content organization can be a little tricky. There are also a lot of different functions and tools within Notion, so getting up to speed on how to use all of those can take a long time.

We have a lot of knowledge and information in our company, and having one place to collaborate and access that information is really helpful.

I find that Notion could have better templates that are free, which would enhance its usability. Additionally, there is a lack of basic walkthroughs in the app to guide users on how to perform actions, which can make the learning process more difficult for new users. The AI build feature is also very limited, which restricts some of the functionality I expect from it. When I attempted to integrate Notion with ChatGPT, it didn't work well, indicating potential gaps in compatibility or integration capabilities.

I find Notion to be incredibly helpful for my day-to-day consulting business, primarily because of how it allows me to efficiently track my tasks. The AI capabilities in Notion impress me as they respond effectively to my needs and automate processes efficiently, such as setting recurring tasks from Monday through Friday at specific times. This feature streamlines my workflow and helps in managing my billable hours effectively. The ease of use of Notion stands out, making it intuitive and straightforward to navigate through different tasks seamlessly. Moreover, I thoroughly enjoy the customization options available in Notion. The ability to personalize and adjust settings to fit my requirements, including the aesthetic representation of my workspace, adds great value to my experience with Notion, making it both functionally robust and visually pleasing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the billing aspect of Notion problematic. Using both the mobile app and the web-based or desktop versions seems to cause communication issues regarding the subscription level I am on. This results in receiving notifications to upgrade, even when I am already fully upgraded. Additionally, the setup process was somewhat confusing. Understanding the different databases necessary to fully utilize the program proved challenging and added complexity to the initial setup.

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful and full featured, many templates available, strong support and active community.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything. The only thing that comes to mind is that it's not as tightly coupled with Microsoft 365 as I'd prefer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're taking a deep look at our knowledge management framework and systems of record. We created a working ontology and instantiated a hierarchy in Notion of business processes, activities, and artifacts for working in Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
