Notion review
What do you like best about the product?
The good part is that it offers a variety of features all in one place, making it more convenient and visually appealing than other document apps. It also allows for building a more structured database.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion requires everything to start as a new page, which makes light writing difficult. Instead of starting small and building on it, you have to organize everything in your head first before writing, so it doesn’t feel like brainstorming. Most of all, it's not well-suited for mobile use, so I end up not using it for personal purposes unless I’m working all day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most documents are stored in a structured format, which makes it easy to quickly search across various teams' documents or projects and also understand their structure at a glance.
Great Organization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Note-taking is easy, detailed with AI summary tools. I can organize my files like a file explorer, and use a number of different templates that allow me to keep my notes all in one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations can be limited. I use Notion for work, but it's a personal note taking tool vs. something used across our business. I wish sharing files or notes was simple, without having to make non-Notion users make an account. This may already be a feature, but if so I have not found out how.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My own little homebase vs. other platforms we use. This is a great way to make sure I am on task and getting stuff done efficiently. Plus, this is a great tool paired with AI to take notes.
it's so easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I love notion ai, it helps me quickly find things im looking for summarize based on our company's specific docs and policies
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes, it can get really disorganized and there's just so many folder s out there- also sometimes links only pop up as a half page on the right, which I don't like as much- prefer if its a link to a separate page
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
notion has been amazing for writing PRDs- sometimes I ask it to rewrite what im writing, add more specificity, and it does a good job correcting my work, and helping me write better.
however, sometimes it writes inaccurate stuff- I would love if it automatically gave me a source when it rewrites content or changes the content, so I can confirm that its from my companies existing material.

A fantastic tool for exactly what you need
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Notion is hands-down its versatility. It is the Swiss Army knife of productivity tools, which gives me valuable flexibility in how I develop solutions and keep my work organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if there was a way to select which specific Property a relation displays and not all at once. For example I work in education and deal with state standards quite a bit. If I need a record in one database (Database A) to link to another database (B) that includes standard codes as the title, but I want to display a different property from B in A, there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. Instead, the relation I see in A includes too many options/properties to be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing lesson plans and aligning them to state academic standards as well as automating the creation of lesson ideas (AI Keywords) based on standard codes and benchmark text.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use software, clear and concise buttons
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates without notification or pop up to notify
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of sifting through questions and summarizing
Notion and my study
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple format. It allows me to manage every aspect of my work in one place. I use it ever day to take notes, study, brainstorm.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly not too much, except you can't put images in tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me solve my messy brain, and the difficulties that brings me with study. It's benefiting me by helping me stay organised and improving my grades.
Easy onboarding, great templates!
What do you like best about the product?
Organized, nice to have all documents linked to each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI is not included in the business plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to keep all documents in one place, one of our priorities was getting organized and have all SOPs in one place. This has helped a ton with Onboarding and Education!
The AI changed the game.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact I can get AI to just answer my questions. If my boss needs an answer such as when was the last time you contacted X I can easily get that information without having to cycle through millions of pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI does sometimes crash, but I’m guessing that is to be expected given it is so new and it’s infancy with a quick refresh it’s back up and running and I have full faith in it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have potentially saved thousands on notepads, I hate my handwriting and Notion keeps everything in a really classy easily laid out and sexy way that I can easily show my colleagues, my manager even my clients on an iPad. It has completely changed the game and so many of my clients and colleagues are now moving over to notion.
