Awesome Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is super handy for notetaking and organization. I especially the AI Writing Assistant for note taking in a fast-paced class requiring more attention on keeping up with the dialogue than pausing to take notes. Simply type a keyword and notion AI can fill in the rest!
I've also used it for collaborative team planning, and know classmates who have utilized the AI brainstorming feature with success.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve like with anything, but I don't have any noteworthy complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intuitive and flexible note organization with AI writing to fill in the blanks or flesh out descriptions helps me spend more time listening and less time documenting.
Organization hacks for ADHD
What do you like best about the product?
It's like my own personal assistant! When I discovered the app, I was in my second semester of grad school while working 2 jobs and I felt like I was drowning. I joined before the AI assistant and notion helped me gain control over my life, which completely shifted my work life balance. Once the AI assistant came in (I've taken to calling mine Nancy), it was a game changer I didn't know I needed! I'm able to organize my thoughts, outline papers, and set a foundation for my tasks much faster and much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming to begin - a white page is overwhelming for me, and the initial templates weren't what I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When my task list is too long, Notion AI helps me to sort out my tasks based on priority and time.
Indispensable Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It has made a tremendous impact in my ability to manage my own life and my business. It keeps the information I need very accessible and organized. I nearly always have Notion up on my computer and use it daily on my phone as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a great backend for documentation and wiki's, and it's awesome that I can publish pages directly to the web - it would be nice if I could connect my domain directly through Notion for web publishing and have greater control over public permissions and access, but that is a shift in scope from it's current focus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can keep my personal and business life organized well in Notion, and with the AI feature, I can quickly ask questions and let the AI give me an answer from my own information.
Great app for keeping all information at one place and retrieving in one go hassle free.
What do you like best about the product?
I am currently a student so it's a great platform to keep track of all my assignments at one page .During lectures I even jot down notes in it.It let's collaborate with the team and that is the best feature I like about notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though I have been using it for past 2 years ,I am not fully able to create templates and all .The app is bit hard to operate with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having so many different platforms for different format of data files ,it's a one great platform for all the data storage.I can directly integrate my different format file like Excel sheet ,notes in one place .It lets me be organized as a student and saves a lot of my time.
Superpowering your copywriting
What do you like best about the product?
I am always aware of the power of Notion, the blank canvas that can evolved into any kind of document your require.
As someone that isn't the most disciplined planner, I may not take advantage of all the feature on offer from Notion, but the AI assist has been a huge ally in my day to day work.
Notions 'Ask AI' has become a standard part of the daily workflow, often drafting then having the AI recommend improvements to the copy before I send, especially when communicating with customers or the Senior Leadership team.
When compared to the output of other tools like ChatGPT, the recommendations are often subtle, more mindful of the tone of voice, less abstract that what other tools offer.
The investment in Notions AI add-on is a no brainer, and the ROI is much higher than the outlay.
Would recommend

What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot to dislike here. Using it to make copy longer, shorter, simple grammar checks or wholesale rewrites or tonal changes. It's all great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me with my commmunication, as I'm not the strongest writer in the world and it's helping me make sense of my own thoughts as well as those I wish to relay to others with greater accuracy
Indispensable
What do you like best about the product?
easy to keep organised, I love that I can use it organise loads of files and notes and data in a really intuitive way and the ai writing assistant is SO helpful. I use it for so many things.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tables and data in tables isn't a good replacement for many things in excel I find. There are times when I just link through to a google doc rather than keep in notion because of that reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organising all my client files and working docs, some project management too.
I do all my working and notes in notion and then move over to a presentation when it's ready to be presented to client.

Game-changing Product for a Self Employed Musician
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to easily implement Second Brain systems.
Ability to link my Reader, Browser, etc into Notion is incredibly helpful for organizing my work, research, business, and school life.

What do you dislike about the product?
The barrier of entry is steep at first, and I still feel like I'm learning the program as I go, but the potential is massive!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a self employed professional musician that runs my own teaching studio while also playing for a living. I'm also currently in school finishing my second master's degree. The amount of general admin work as well as organization that's required for me to be at the right place at the right time while staying ontop of my school and administrative work is difficult - Notion helps me organize my life so I don't have to think about my day-to-day as much.
One tool that smoothed out my life's rough edges
What do you like best about the product?
I kept seeing Notion being mentioned here and there for a few years and finally had what it takes to take up a new software a few years ago. Even though it took me 2 tries to fully integrate Notion into my life, I finally have THE dashboard I can go to for anything in my life - if I need to make a to-do list, a reminder, keep notes about my hobbies or use a template to evaluate the prioties in my wishlists, and now even draft my work emails (thanks to the new AI feature). Speaking of AI, while I'm usually a big sceptic, the intergation has been seemless for me and I've enjoyed it specifically for getting suggestions on how I can paraphrase or shorten my messages before I send them off. Notion has a great balance of customization freedom vs established systems and templates that one can use as a jumping off point or just to have a quick start on whatever task you're up to. I also appreciate Notion staying an approachable and FREE software beyond words - it makes it so easy to reccommend to friends and family.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish Notion had features for zooming into areas of my pages - I constantly try to do it with my trackpad but forget I still can't. I also find that the apps can sometimes be glitchy with how often I get logged out (it happens irregularly too).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love having Notion as the one-stop-shop for my home life, hobbies, work, or even journaling my thoughts. It's been the best platform for compiling my brainstorming as well as drafting anything I need for my job or personal life.
Too steep a learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
I have been very happy with and already recommended Notion AI Writing Assistant to a few people. It is more intuitive than I expected honestly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even after months, I am still not all the way situated and happy with where I am in Notion, but I know it's the right place. I wish it had a few other features, like sending to print seems to be a huge ordeal. But overall, once I get things set the way I want, it should be worth it in spades.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far the AI isn't able to completely replace my paid ChatGPT but it is getting close.
The Notion AI prompts have really helped my writing style.
What do you like best about the product?
So many upsides to Notion. The ease of organisation, the nice clean blank slate. I'd like a better "homepage for Notion" so I can come in, see whats popular across the org, similar to Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tables and their inflexibility. I'd really like to be able to do bullet points in the table and more coloured options of the cells. I also hate the data tables, sorry! They're very confusing. I also wish it had better page analytics (similar to Confluence)
