My Go-To Productivity Tool for Work and Life
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has been a game changer for, it's genuinely changed the way I organize my work and personal life. I love how flexible it is, whether that's just making a simple to-do list or working on a complex work task it adapts seamlessly.
I've never used anything more versatile, and the templates and customization options mean I can set up pages exactly how I like without ever feeling too overwhelmed.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially when I'm working with large databases. Sadly the mobile app isn’t as smooth as the desktop version, which can be frustrating when trying to make quick updates on the go, but it's still functional and does the job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has really helped me to and has allowed me to consolidate all my notes, tasks, and projects in one place. Before I was using it, I really struggled with juggling loads of apps for task management, note-taking, and collaboration. But now everything is centralized, which makes it a lot easier to track progress and stay productive.
Notion and notion AI: great, but learning curve is STEEP.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how you can organise yourself well on notion. Having distinct places for each thing you do. E.g. personal, finance, and study.
Additionally, I love using databases, they are the backbone of my notion pages and how i navigate them.
I use it pretty much every day.
Customer support has always been great.

What do you dislike about the product?
While i love using databases, it is hard to go back a page when going into a page in a database using the "path/trail" feature found in the taskbar at the top. E.g. (homepage -> finance -> February). This is not present when using databases.
Additionally, I HATE the learning curve associated with starting notion, and when you guys bring out new features. While there is a high reward in learning these new features, a large amount of time is needed to learn the features, which I do not have until a holiday or break.
I would also like compatibility with Goodnotes. I like to annotate lecture slides now and I have found that the "embed pdf" feature is not adequate for me. It would be useful to have a PDF viewer inside notion itself (instead of either embedding, or having to download the file again), so the pdf file is like another page view, however just is a pdf viewer.
I know there is some functionality with PowerPoint/word documents in beta where you import it into notion. I don't think that is ready yet as picture/image sizes get messed up in this. I would really just prefer a pdf viewer inside notion to customise pdfs and annotate.
Alternatively, allowing this to happen while embedding a Goodnotes page natively would be nice too if that is too much work.
Additionally, while notion is great, sometimes it can be a little enfuriating at while it is so versatile, it can be so rigid too. Making simple tasks or functions i want to carry out, a long and strenuous task, requiring multiple complex steps.

Notion has changed my life
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use Notion simply and grow more complex in my use as time goes on. I really only use a fraction of its features, but the more i learn the more i love it. This is what I wanted, something to start simply, and then get more and more out of it as I go on. I used to use multiple apps and now i only use Notion, which is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
My learning curve was steep. I would really love a weekly email giving me a new way to incorporate features or explaining features I dont understand, especially the Ai. I currently use a separate Ai (actually 2!) and would love to not need those apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a nonprofit chair and a small business owner. Thats a lot of plates to keep spinning. I now use notion to organize all of it. Keeping my professional and personal goals all in one place has been a godsend.
