Great Notion AI Features, But Search Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI has been a game changer for notion! I appreciate how notion AI searches through all available resources within our company
What do you dislike about the product?
Search options are difficult without AI. I believe that it is challenging finding existing notion pages when using keywords to search

Notion AI scans through our resources to provide the best answers based off all available information, saving time while trying to work through emails and chats
Effortless Collaboration and Editing, but AI Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Easy sharing, real time edits to documentation, the ability to easily add charts and graphs. Notion to me is like google docs on steroids.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI feature is still in the works and learning - with our organization sometimes it isn't the most helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-functional collaboration and documentation for all teams at our company. All of our SOPs are easy to access in notion and anyone on the team can update them anytime. It's easy to add agenda items for our team, charts for tracking projects or bonuses, etc.
Great for ADHD students
What do you like best about the product?
As a college student with ADHD, I find Notion to be a lifesaver. It has greatly improved my ability to stay organized, take notes, and summarize course material. I especially appreciate that the AI features work with PDF documents, allowing me to generate note sheets directly from the content.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't encountered any problems while using Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've always found it difficult to stay organized, but Notion has made the process much more manageable for me. I like that I am able to easily move things around, create specific sections, and categorize everything to make material easy to find and read.
Personally use and recommend Notion as a second brain to everyone!
What do you like best about the product?
The customization is amazing for neurodivergent brains. I can track anything I need. The new AI feature that can help you edit databases is also extremely helpful for those of us who don't know exactly HOW to do what we want to do, but only know what we want to do. I also recommend Notion to everyone because of the pricing and ability to collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of features I don't like, but there are a few features that would make the platform 100x more valuable:
- The ability to have multiple checkboxes in a database property (without creating a separate database property for each, individually)
- The ability to see multiple database views within one single view -- for things like tasks, calendar, etc. I know you can see it in the Notion Calendar app, but I'm not leaving the app to do that. I wish those additional features were integrated in-app.
- The ability to change a rollup property entry outside of the original database.
- A feature where you can set "template" database properties to quickly access/reuse across multiple databases (for things like tags, categories, etc.)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an ADHD business owner, Notion is a life saver. My ideas naturally come very disorganized, and are easily forgotten. So having an affordable place to jot down, process, and organize information for my personal life and business is a game changer.

All-in-One Productivity Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can use it for almost anything — note-taking, task tracking, journaling, or even managing my learning progress. It’s simple to start but powerful when you explore databases, templates, and relations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Notion feels a bit slow to open pages, especially when I have many notes. It also takes time to learn how to use all the features.

Notion helps me keep all my notes, tasks, and learning materials in one place. Before, I used many different apps, and it was hard to stay organized. Now I can track my goals, manage my daily plans, and store ideas easily. It saves me time and keeps me more focused and productive.
Notion AI is a game changer.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI has cemented its place as a game-changer in the productivity space, largely due to its seamless and intuitive integration within the Notion ecosystem. Unlike standalone AI tools that require context-switching, Notion AI is woven directly into the fabric of your workspace, available with a simple keystroke. This proximity to your notes, projects, and databases is its superpower.
Its versatility is remarkable. It serves as a powerful co-creator, capable of brainstorming ideas, drafting emails, writing blog posts, or creating outlines from a single prompt. For existing content, it excels at summarizing lengthy meeting notes, extracting key action items, and improving the clarity and tone of your writing. This ability to both generate and refine makes it an invaluable partner for overcoming writer's block and enhancing communication.
Furthermore, its contextual awareness within Notion databases allows for intelligent autofill features, saving immense time on manual data entry. By operating directly where work gets done, Notion AI doesn't just add a layer of intelligence; it fundamentally elevates the entire user experience, making it an essential tool for anyone looking to streamline their workflow and boost their creative output.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far the only downside is you cannot tag a page that is not in a DB.

1. Tool Overload and Disjointed Information: Many individuals and teams rely on a multitude of applications for different tasks: one for notes, another for project management, a third for documents, and yet another for spreadsheets. This fragmentation can lead to information silos, making it difficult to maintain a single source of truth and collaborate effectively. Notion tackles this by integrating these functions into a single, interconnected environment.
2. Inflexible and Rigid Software: Traditional software often imposes a specific structure on how users can organize their information. Notion's "Lego-like" block system provides a flexible framework that allows users to build their own workflows and structures. This adaptability means you can create anything from a simple to-do list to a complex project management dashboard, all tailored to your specific needs.
3. Inefficient Collaboration and Communication: For teams, especially those working remotely, maintaining clear and consistent communication can be a challenge. Notion facilitates seamless collaboration through features like real-time editing, comments, and mentions. This creates a centralized hub for team knowledge, project updates, and discussions, reducing the reliance on scattered email threads and chat messages.
4. Poor Knowledge Management: Companies and individuals often struggle to capture, organize, and retrieve important information. Important documents can get lost in folders, and institutional knowledge can disappear when an employee leaves. Notion functions as a centralized knowledge base or "wiki," making it easy to create and access a repository of information that is searchable and easy to navigate

Fun and exciting
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the flexibility to create a project management workflow that suits my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit complicated to use and seems to require at least some understanding of software engineering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling several projects and tasks simultaneously can be challenging, but it is an essential part of my workflow.
Flexible Note-Taking with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely appreciate Notion's flexibility and how seamlessly it integrates into my daily workflow. The ability to link between pages and treat each text segment as a standalone block is fantastic. Notion's AI features and the diversity in database views enhance my productivity, and I love being able to share public sites with others who don't use Notion. The suggestion mode versus direct edit mode is a much-valued addition, and the real-time collaboration with visible avatars or emojis greatly enhances the teamwork aspect. Moreover, the cloud sync feature is a game-changer, providing a unified experience across devices, solidifying my preference for Notion over alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find organizing multiple pages in Notion challenging, especially when creating databases or team landing pages. Starting with a blank canvas is quite difficult, and I believe the templates are mediocre and not user-friendly. The formatting limitations within tables in Notion frustrate me, as I can't incorporate bullets or add comments to specific parts. Furthermore, the distinction between tables and databases is perplexing because tables lack flexibility, while databases are too rigid. This complexity is irritating. Additionally, I'd prefer the ability to insert badges or statuses directly within pages in a straightforward manner. Lastly, Notion's free plan seems limiting, and I might consider alternatives like Google Docs due to their more generous offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize company documents and personal notes into a single accessible source, enhancing visibility. It eases starting new notes, though linking them intuitively is challenging. The ability to share sites, link pages, and collaborate in real-time is beneficial.
