The tool I was looking for
What do you like best about the product?
It's just designed in the way that I always wanted to use similar tools (Gdocs, sheets, OneNote), but they never provided the features in such way and such complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity means that it's not very foolproof and sometimes it's difficult to design solutions in a way that they can be used across company. Also the project management features are missing some key parts and are not very optimised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing many tools into one
The way how the blocks and features are structured is exactly the way I always wanted to use my previous tools.

Creative path
What do you like best about the product?
really open to make your own structure but
What do you dislike about the product?
training material as the platform is really UX friendly but the complexity of the flow sometimes get tricky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
multiple projects in one place
Meets my requirements
What do you like best about the product?
I love how super organized it is. I use it as a place to store my notes and other documentation. There's a lot of templates I can choose from to set up each page to work the way I want. Each page can be shared to anyone I want (can only view) or you can give someone access to your workspace so they can edit. When I copy and paste anything to my Notion, I don't have to worry about formatting etc. because it always does a default font and size for everything (which saves me a lot of time at work). One unique thing I use is the 1:1 template to track what I do day-to-day, making it easier to remember what on what day. I use it daily –without it, I won't be as organized with all my things and be successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that when I leave a page, if I go back to the page, it always makes me go back to the top instead of where I last left off. This only impacts the pages where it's lengthy and detailed, but if you have short notes, then it's not really an issue. Other than that, no cons that I know of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization for sure. One issue is that there is lack of documentation or documents were everywhere and not in one place as a source of truth. I utilize Notion to solve this issue by organizing information in one place. Keeping track of notes from meetings is easier to track in Notion compared to other platforms. The AI tool is useful sometimes to use when I am looking for ideas.
A highly customizable tool to create, plan, track and review work
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as a way to keep track of all the projects I get involved with at work and it's been a really useful tool. I really like that it's very easy to create new pages and set up structures and keep track of daily work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes having so much liberty and flexibility can be a little overwhelming. I would also appreciate if the search function could be a little bit more accurate, sometimes I can't find what I'm looking for if I'm searching for a specific keyword
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my company we use Google Drive to save all our files and Miro as a way to collaborate, but I didn't have an appropriate space to register study notes or just didn't want to use a google docs file to write my personal commentaries on projects I'm working on, wheter because I didn't want to make it visibile to other people or because I was writing hipothetical stuff. Notion works almost like a project diary for me
Easy to look at and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities for managing different type of views in pages and the fact that there is a lot of content to learn how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automation features don't meet the requirements for what we do. For example, in our meeting agendas, we want the meeting to be created a week earlier, so when a meeting happens, the agenda for next week should already be available. But there's no simple way of achieving this notion; I had to create a formula to set a date and use that as a reference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is the tool we now use for all our internal documentation.
My external brain
What do you like best about the product?
Its user friendly, intuitive, has great features but is not overcrowded
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not work well with Apple Pencil when using it to write
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing knowledge, resources and tasks. It helps me to be more organised
Notion provides almost everything I need in terms of organization of my work
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create basic blocks - and hence easy to type nice-looking documents;
Readability of documents;
Great search tool across all documents helps find what I'm looking for easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is not necessarily clear how to make the most out of the available features. I know there are lots of them and I keep on learning how to use it, but I'm also sure there are a lot of things I'm not aware of.
The databases linking can be confusing.
One major issue is the copy/paste of images - sometimes it just doesn't work to copy an image from notion to a google docs for example or the other way around.

Mostly tasks planning and notes taking.
We still rely on google docs for most of our proper documentation of projects though.

Notion reduces my cognitive load
What do you like best about the product?
The command centre, like page with all my pages linked is the best thing. I like how it takes away the cognitive load of finding, search and organising. I have a million things in my head and everything (atleast most) is there on one page.
I also love the different note types, tables, pages, toggle list, to do list. Its quite exhaustive

What do you dislike about the product?
Command centre is great but took me a while to discover. you actually have to spend time to use notion effeciently. Its not easy to discover the power of notion. I wish they thought of thinking a bit on discoverability of all the power of notion.
Also, some formatting is hard. Like going to next line within a cell of a table is not possible or atleast i havent discovered it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
organising my work and personal stuff.
I mentioned this before the command centre and different formats - pages, tables, toggles, all the power in one tool is unfound anywhere else so i love that.

Excellent space where you can think, write, and plan
What do you like best about the product?
Notion offers a unified space for organizing everything that matters. It provides a clean, open platform for thinking, writing, and planning. Customization is central, enabling users to create and arrange pages to suit their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now, I like all the features and functionality personally
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining important process information, product details, creating playbooks, and providing updates.
One Stop Shop for Productivity and Organizing - From Travel Plans to Business Processes
What do you like best about the product?
For me, Notion is everything that MS Office lacks. It has integrated AI and serves as a one-stop shop for note-taking, travel planning, social media calendars, etc. I have set up my entire business processes through Notion.
What especially stands out to me is the page system. I am also very fond of the keyboard shortcuts (for bullets, headings, and color), which I learned specifically to increase my efficiency.
Overall, I have integrated Notion into my daily scheduling and note-taking, and I am very happy with it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have two minor dislikes about Notion -
1. Exporting - Exporting should have more options. Even for PDFs, there should be options to edit how you want the PDF to look. Sometimes the PDF ends up not being formated as per the Notion page. It would be helpful to have editing options before exporting.
2. Table Cells - There is immense potential for notion to create better table cells. They should be easy to use, and have more intuitve formulas. There should be options to add formulas to individual cells.

As I mentioned - for me notion is a one-stop shop for note-taking, travel planning, social media calendars, business plans, etc.
It is solving the problem of unproductivity for me through the following way - It is very convenient to have all features like embedded maps and websites, pages, tables, databases calendars etc in one application. It greatly increases productivity.
