I absolutely love notion and recommend it all the time

What do you like best about the product?
It's a beautiful tool to capture data. Rather it's just an document I would perfer it over Google docs. When you need to build out a database to house all your idea is where the magic comes. It's allwaya been my go to tool for capturing creative, business and spiritual stuff
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a pretty high learning curve and there is an upfront investment that's needed to really unlock the tool.

The biggest thing is needing to download the app. Whenever I share a link or try to work with someone on notion I have to make sure and highly recommend they download the actual program and install it. I would always have people tell me they didn't like it but when I dug in why... It was due to them using the web version. After they install it they liked it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has every feature I would want all in one package that looks fucking beautiful and simple to use

Here is my wish list:

Export to word doc format please!
Built-in citation manager or integration with Zotero would be great.
Please include comments when copy/pastaing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration of the power of an LLM in a word processing application helps reduce the time spent writing.

What do you like best about the product?
For a fraction of the cost, you are able to "hire" an assistant, a social media, a ghostwriter, a researcher, etc. Once you get the hang of putting in your requests, it is quick and easy to get what you need. I use notion regularly for my podcast and social media planning and executing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a bit steep, but once you understand how to use it, you quickly get on with your work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writing podcast episode descriptions. I create social media posts for every aspect of my business, including text, hashtags, image suggestions and the best times to post.

Notion is the AI superpowered workspace you've been searching for.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion provides the perfect amount of flexibility for any workspace. The new AI Writing Assistant is also the perfect way to do everything you need to (including writing or brainstorming with AI) within the notion. My favourite part about the notion is that you can easily make templates to help you scale whatever you're doing fast, and the design for pages is inherently sophisticated but also fun (with emojis, colour and cover photos).
I use notion pretty much daily to plan for my business, do writing, manage life admin and finances, and keep notes for all my conversations and meetings. I especially love that I can pull it up on my phone anytime and quickly find whatever I want in minutes, even when I'm on the go!
I love the notion template marketplace as well, you can always find a quick and easy way to create and make your processes faster! My new favourite tools have to be the built in AI which can do so many things for you, including tell you answers to content on a page!! So cool.

I use the AI chat A LOT - to design specific tasks using info from muliple pages, or even to design new todos lists that actually work the way i work and can pull in stray todos from a bunch of my docs.

Best money spent on tools & tech BY FAR. obsessed with u notion + notion ai. you're doing amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I don't like about the notion, but sometimes the offline experiences can be questionable (but honestly, it's probably because I'm using the wrong settings).
There can be a tiny learning curve when you're first using it, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to continue working in there forever. Honestly with the new AI assistant though, you can do everything really easily in seconds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- quickly use ai to design workspace, design content and even pull from multiple sources to respond / do work.
- A clean workspace that had a clean and sophisticated design built into it
- AI tooling built in and super easy to integrate into your routine with keyboard shortcuts.
- An incredible free tier that you could use (almost) forever.
- A super beautiful and customisable way to manage pretty much anything you're doing from the palm of your hand to your office.
- it's lightweight and gives me just the right amount of tooling and information to build pages ready to be published in minutes better than you can in word/google docs(in docs you have to do hypercustom things to achieve the same result)!
- incredible integrations with my favourite sites like Figma/Canva, so I can preview that work all in notion too!

Use for both work and personal tasks

  • November 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For work, what I like the most is that I can have all the information I need in one place, also the visibility it's a plus. It's very easy to organise and find things. I can also have separate pages and can share some of the pages with other users. Working in collaboration is great when you need specific tasks to be done or followed up, adding comments or adding reminders it's great to make sure you keep things on track. I have used the AI tool to improve writing or change the tone, and to help writting processes and policies. I find a bit expensive if you are already paying subscriptions so I hope it gets more affordable with time.
For personal life, I use to organise information for personal development, like short course links, notes and to add anything relevant. I also use as a tool to organise my CV and writing down emails and cover letters. I have been using the AI tool for that and it's great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about Notion, overall it's a great tool that I've been using for the long time. It might be a bit tricky to get used for the first time but, after awhile you see the value and how makes things way more easier to get organised and done. It's nice when you are in the stage of automating bottoms or adding databases, etc. I still have a long way to go in the usage and knowledge of Notion but, I don't see a reason to stop using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping information in one place: I can collade all the information I need in one page and organise it the way I want
Easy to find: The search box is great and the way that you can add things on pages makes intuitive and easy to see what you have stored
Writing emails; documents; policies and having the help of AI
Working in collaboration with my team: Visibilitiy and flow of tasks make easy to get the job done, getting notifications when someone has added an update or add a reminder or a comment helps to have the context and understanding of the tasks

Harnessing Creativity and Efficiency:

  • November 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI, an innovative addition to the Notion platform, stands out for its capacity to generate and edit various types of content, ranging from blog posts and social media updates to creative stories and press releases. This AI tool, integrated directly within Notion, offers a user-friendly interface, allowing users to easily access its features. What sets it apart is its ability to customize content according to different audience needs and content types, showcasing a commendable level of creativity, especially in crafting narratives and titles. Initially offered for free, Notion AI has a pricing model of $8-10 per user per month for unlimited use, positioning it as a cost-effective solution compared to other AI services. Although it integrates seamlessly with the existing Notion ecosystem, making it highly beneficial for current Notion users, its appeal may be limited for those not using Notion. Additionally, the lack of integration with other systems and the possibility that it might not significantly differ from other AI tools in certain aspects could be potential downsides. Nevertheless, for those engaged in the Notion environment and focusing on content creation, Notion AI emerges as a valuable tool, offering a range of customizable options for text output and content generation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion AI's functionality is constrained within the Notion environment, and it does not offer integrations with external systems or tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is essentially my Daily task app. It keeps me update and on track for all of my projects.
