Intense training needed to use effectively, but useful once used correctly
What do you like best about the product?
Notion makes it possible for our work to be transparent and allows for meaningful synchronous/asynchronous collaboration between teams. I appreciate being able to create projects, tasks and QTNAs and tag all respective parties. It makes it easy to implement projects by allowing me delegate roles/tasks for major projects as well as keep track of their progress. The customer support training videos helped me have a basic understanding of how to navigate and use Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion isn't very user-friendly or easy to use. After watching training videos, I understood enough to work on Notion, but not necessarily create. After using Notion for an extended period of time (daily for work), I became more comfortable with it.
It doesn't integrate with the Google Suite as much as I would like. For example, linking/embedding documents is possible, but being able to select a document directly from Notion would be much easier. It's hard to update a project that has multiple pieces outside of Notion. For example, I send a lot of emails, but fail to add screenshots to Notion, so it's hard to log seamlessly conversations.
It doesn't integrate with the Google Suite as much as I would like. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AI writing assistant allows me to draft and finalize my writing in one space which is ideal. My coworker attempted to use the note-taking software in our meeting yesterday, but couldn't figure out how to implement the feature. I do appreciate the AI search feature that allows me to search for specific things as well as summarize pages that hold a great deal of information. Notion makes project management between teams easy, there's just a huge learning curve for members.
Versatile and Customizable, Perfect for Any Facet of Life
What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate Notion's versatility, enabling me to use it across all aspects of both business and personal life, from project management to holiday planning. The AI capabilities in Notion are exceptional, particularly for meeting notes, which I utilize frequently. I love the task management and Wiki features as they provide a systematized structure for business operations. The digital LEGO aspect allows me to craft custom solutions, making it a powerful tool for creating complex systems from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the mobile app a bit cumbersome, as it involves a lot of clicking and opening windows, which can be cumbersome. Additionally, I feel there is a lack of support for sketching tools like the Apple Pencil on iPads, which can be limiting when I want to create wireframes for web design or development. Also, Notion's current CRM features could be more robust and benefit from better integration with phone systems, such as CS One by Nebula, to leverage business capabilities more effectively. Furthermore, I think introducing more plug-ins would help in making it a fully-fledged tool.

Notion centralizes our processes with a Wiki, standardizes tasks for consistent outcomes, and provides a versatile, flexible platform to build tailored systems, enhancing data management and business insights.
Notion Keeps me Organized
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how it helps me keep my work and personal life organized. I also enjoy the variety of features that allow me to keep almost everything together in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of learning curve so much to learn and still learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this tool to organize my workday, keep track of call notes, and manage my client database. It also helps me maintain a recipe database and stay on top of my tasks with a to-do board.
There is a learning Curve, but worth the effort
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate being able to keep most of my information in one easily accessible place. The meeting notes feature has been fantastic, and the templates have definitely been a big help.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this stage, the main challenge is the learning curve. It does take some time to get comfortable with a new program, but I find that the effort is worthwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping us connected as a team. If there are any questions about how it fits into the company model, we just check Notion. We record all meetings that we have. It gives us to do a lists and highlights the most important things we've talked about.
Its easy to organize and reorganize data
What do you like best about the product?
I like that AI is built in and can create tables and workflows easily. I started using it as a replacement for trello. I use it at least 5 times per week.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the AI was more robust for use on additional tasks besides organizing so I could use fewer AI tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its giving me a place to house content, ideas and project steps to allow me to complete tasks.
Notion makes my job easier
What do you like best about the product?
I love the features in Notion that allow me to track data in databases, create fillable forms, and assign tasks. I also love the AI agent, it is starting to learn my preferences and cuts down the time it takes me to write drafts and build skeleton pages/databases/etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI function can give back info that is slightly off. Also I feel like there could be improvements in Calendar integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing my capacity, decreasing the time it takes to draft and outline, creating one central place for all our organization’s info.
Essential All-in-One Workspace for Running My Marketing Agency
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has become the central hub for running my entire marketing agency, Kresca Marketing. Its incredible flexibility allows me to manage client projects, track campaign progress, plan content calendars, and collaborate with my team all in one place. The database functionality is a game-changer. I can create custom CRM systems for client management, project trackers with multiple views, and knowledge bases for our processes and templates. What I love most is that Notion has replaced at least 5-6 different tools we used to pay for separately, including project management software, and document collaboration tools. The ability to customise everything to fit our specific workflows, create linked databases, and build templates has dramatically improved our small marketing agency's efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I love Notion overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The learning curve to build database and custom CRM can be steep. It takes time to understand the full power of databases, relations, and formulas, which can slow down onboarding.
The reporting and analytics features are somewhat limited compared to dedicated project management tools - I'd love to see more advanced charts, dashboards, and data visualisation options for tracking agency metrics and KPIs without needing to export data to other tools.

Impressive tool with uncountable capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to meassure KPIs from different databases which are not necessarily related but are performed by the same individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI still needs to be refined, as it does not always find all the information I require, whether it is from my local DBs or from Notion knowledge base.

Sometimes formatting can get finicky, especially when copying content between pages or working across teams. We'd love a little more control over styling and consistency.
