What do you like best about the product?
Notion have incredible features that can be utilized so easily. It's more convenient for us users having frequent tasks that needs to be done quickly without losing our work notes.

With notion's ease of integration, were able to make our product resources easily implemented.

I'm glad Notion was introduced to us, and were now using it everytime.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
whether organizing personal tasks or managing projects, Notion allows me to structure my workflow as needed. Templates that I used and managing databases helped me to streamline my work efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few drawbacks are there like offline support is limited, if I need to go to poor connectivity areas then i cant able to check that i needed on. Notion can be slow to load when engaging with large databases or complex pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enhances teams' collaboration with shared workspaces and real-time updates. It helps me to stay organized, I don't use multiple pages when I can do everything in a single page. Notion simplifies my workflow and saves time, making it easier to manage projects and daily tasks.

A fantastic tool for note-taking, task management and many more

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is just an incredible tool that has changed the way I do tasks and notes. It offers flexibility and customization unrivaled by other apps in trying to adapt it to my own needs and workflows. Smooth and seamless integration of notes, tasks, and databases keeps organization and productivity in control, while the clean, modern interface makes everything a joy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably one of the most paramount difficulties posed by Notion is in its learning curve any person who has no idea of how databases or any programming concepts work will feel lost. Extensive customization options can be overwhelming and may require some time to understand and put into use finally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has helped me drive down the different tools and apps to one central location, thus making handling and controlling my information a lot easier. The notion has had an assiduously good impact on my overall productivity, organization, and resultant workflow. However the ability to customize and modify the platform per my evolving needs has been invaluable, so I can wholeheartedly recommend Notion to any person seeking powerful and multifunctional solutions for their productivity.

What do you dislike about the product?
It needs some time to get used or maybe some samples to get started, so you explore its endless possibilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me it's solving the problem of storing and systemizing info at one place easily.

Notion’s versatility and customizability stand out the most. It allows me to create everything from detailed project management boards to simple to-do lists, all in one place. The ability to integrate databases, notes, and tasks seamlessly makes it an indispensable tool for both collaborative and individual work. The user-friendly interface and extensive template library also enhance its usability, allowing new use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Notion is its initial learning curve; new users might find it overwhelming due to the multitude of features available. Performance can occasionally be an issue, especially with large databases or complex pages, leading to slower load times.

It's highly customizable which makes it fun to use and it is also very easy. I use this for notes, habits, trackers, goals, budgets, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?

Build your own workflow

  • June 20, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that when you log in, every page is empty and there is no HUD with a zillion buttons, instead you have to very consciously recall features, makes you think about the design of the workspace that you want to create. This makes the process of setting up the workflow slow in the beginning but very intentional. It is very good for people, teams and workspaces that are still trying to figure out what works for them, or where individuals or teams require a degree of autonomy to organize their own workspace on their terms and preferences, or in business environments that demand a lot of agility and iteration. Another thing that i love about notion is its ability to bring in transparency to any workspace by providing what they call a 'single source of truth' through the utilization of relational database management systems (RDBMS) as repositories of files, tasks and units of information. The new features vis-a-vis AI are like steroids to the existing experience. Lastly, I love the clean look and interface, and the ability to compose the workspace just adds a whole new depth to imagining the information architecture of the entire organisational setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that it has no integrated chat feature or ability to embed video conferencing, makes the entire work conversation incomplete. I have to move to Slack to complete the integration, but like there is a pull out chat/dialogue box for AI features, there should be a chatbox for just text based chat inputs specific to each page, that has visibility to every player that can access the page. It would make the entire experience complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Allows me to create custom workflows
- Clean and minimal interface makes it accomodating, anxiety free and less daunting for new users to learn
- Notion Academy is a very helpful learning resource that helps the new users understand the use case of Notion rather than just loading their head with features
- Allows for a pace that makes the design of organisational structure and information architecture of the workspace very intentional and reasoned
- Allows for iteration and composition that is critically missing in other softwares
- Allows for data storage and embedding, and with AI that is being given a boost. Again missing in other project management softwares largely, or the ease of use is much less.
- Has fostered transparency and communication and reduced errors, double work and miscommunication. Has enhanced measurement of performance and accountability.
- Has promoted design and systems thinking in the organisation and has facilitated discussion around work methodologies, team structures, and roles in a depth and detail that wasn't possible before.
- Allows for framing of information through use of databases that makes it simpler too understand at a glance without the need of another person explaining it, which has made onboarding or replacement very easy
