Versatile Tool with Excellent Collaboration, Minor Hurdles at Start
What do you like best about the product?
I love the organizational capabilities that Notion provides, making it easy to track and recall information even mid-game session. Notion's collaboration features are fantastic, as others can contribute and fill in any gaps I might miss. The ability to link pages and use databases is incredibly useful, helping me relate and provide information efficiently. Sharing and publishing options are also great for broadening participation and transparency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the experience with Notion initially overwhelming, particularly because I didn't know how it worked or how anything was laid out. Blank canvases don't work well for me, which made it difficult at first. I needed to find Notion templates from others to help me get started. Additionally, I'm not satisfied with the price of the AI tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for excellent organization and tracking, especially in recalling game session details. It's a great collaborative tool where team members can add missed information. Notion's page linking and database features enhance my workflow significantly.
Highly Customizable, AI-Powered Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's highly customizable dashboards, which adapt to our changing business metrics. I use the amazing Notion AI daily, and it's become an indispensable tool. I also find great value in database relations and formulas. The anticipation of upcoming custom agents features excites me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it really difficult to set up large projects in Notion. Building features like a recipe tracker, habit tracking, and book mapping involved a lot of trial and error. Additionally, I wish Notion allowed for more advanced formula functionalities, such as accessing buttons within formulas and triggering button scopes from parent or related properties, or even having conditional buttons based on certain computed properties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to create customizable dashboards, tailoring them to our changing business needs, which is a major advantage over static tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The weekly agenda that appears in a to-do list form effectively helped me to manage both my work and life tasks.
Great for documentation!
What do you like best about the product?
Notion makes it so easy to keep track of documentation, embed tickets from our Kanban board, and convert any spreadsheets or outside information into full fledged articles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small nits: The icon on the dock could be a bit better. Right now it's got this weird gray outline and which makes Notion hard to easily find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI makes it so easy for us to quickly create release notes from our sprint tickets and send them to our customers! Now our customers can easily see how our updates impact their business and bottom line. Note taking and assigning tasks are now centralized in one location. We also love the calendar tool.

the price of notion is expensive. I’ve been with them since 2021- started out at $44 now it’s $240

What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI Writing Assistant. In every meeting I'm attending or leading now, I will turn on the AI feature and feel so much safer not to miss anything. It provides excellent summary of meeting notes, and a action list with check boxes. Best thing ever!
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of this software still presents a steep learning curve for me. At the moment, I feel like I'm only making use of about 10% or even less of its capabilities. However, I'm making progress and gradually getting there!

This tool ensures I don't miss any details from meetings that last over two hours and involve lively discussions.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Notion has become a central hub for our organization, allowing us to bring in clients and remain organized. Its versatility in handling project management, communications, proposal writing, and document creation is impressive. The ability to cover so much and do so much within one program makes it very appealing. The database feature for proposal and document writing, along with sharing pages with clients, is extremely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Notion very challenging as I had difficulty figuring out what to do and how to use it. This complexity was to the point that I had to hire a Notion consultant to help build our initial system and get set up. I would like Notion to be more user-friendly, especially for those who may not have the means or resources to hire a consultant.

Notion centralizes organization, enhances client engagement, and improves processes, aiding in project management, communication, and document creation.

Lifesaver as an academic assistant
What do you like best about the product?
This tool offers a wide range of functionalities and features that make it much easier for me to organize my schedule, manage tasks, and keep track of lecture notes, as well as plan my day. The AI has been especially helpful in lessening my workload when it comes to editing my writing. It can highlight the most important parts of my work and even help fill in missing information from my lecture notes.

There's really nothing bad I can say about Notion. There's a but of a learning curve, but it doesn't take long to get a hang of.

It's helping with my organization, schedule creation, and saving me a lot of time and mental space.

What do you like best about the product?
We've built an full system where we run our entire ad agency out of. We have a mini CRM where we have all the assets we've every created for our 50+ clients. we track hours, advertising builds, create work tickets for our internal team, all out of this huge notion system. And it's worked great for us, keeps us so much more organized than any company i've worked for.
What do you dislike about the product?
To me, not being able to put image screenshots into a table..

Has let us create a full agency management system where we can track mostly 99% of all the work we're doing across 50 clients.
