The All-in-One Workspace That Scales With My Design Work
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has become my go-to hub for managing design deliverables and tasks. I love how flexible the databases are. I can move seamlessly between Kanban boards, calendars, and table views depending on what I need to focus on. For my design roadmap, I keep a master database that connects features, user stories, and resources like Figma links or walkthrough videos. It keeps everything in one place, and it’s easy to share with teammates or hand off to developers without losing context. The built-in AI has also been a huge bonus: I use it to summarize meetings, draft user stories, and refine design documentation so I can spend more time on actual design work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback is performance. Once I start layering in multiple databases, timelines, and cross-linked views, pages can get sluggish to load. Offline access is also limited up until recently, which can be frustrating if I want to review tasks or notes while traveling. While the AI tools are powerful, they sometimes feel a bit “generalist,” and I’d love more design-focused templates or integrations out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of having my work scattered across multiple tools. Instead of bouncing between a task manager, a separate document library, and a spreadsheet tracker, I can centralize everything in one workspace. For design work, that means my roadmap, user stories, supporting documents, and meeting notes all live together and are easy to connect.
This has saved me a lot of time context-switching and makes handoffs smoother because I’m not piecing information together from different places. The AI features also help me quickly distill large chunks of information into actionable steps, which speeds up stakeholder alignment and keeps projects moving forward. Overall, it reduces friction and helps me stay organized, so I can focus more on designing and less on managing tools.

Organization and operations streamlined
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the customization available in Notion to build what works best with your systems. I used Notion daily for everything in my business aspect and my personal life. It keeps me organized, on task and efficient but does require some discipline to keep the tool from becoming the project itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint was not having offline access to my information. I haven't had any issues since the new features came out. My current issue is how I have to click the toggles for wide page text and small text everytime I create a new page. I wish there was a default setting for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps all my information in ONE place that is easily accessible and searchable.
I'm currently starting my digital marketing agency and running all my client and project management through Notion.

Notion is the bridge between my ambition, and current knowledge.
What do you like best about the product?
This platform serves as a single source of truth for my projects and provides a valuable space to store documents. Instead of having ideas lost in a maze of folders on Google Drive, every idea here is given equal importance when creating tasks and wikis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am confused how Notion Mail and calendar realistically fit in to the ecosystem for google workspace users. I want to integrate fully, but there are features that just aren't there in either program.
I am not loving the AI agents ability so far to generate tasks from email - I cannot seem to find the correct wording and prompting for "search my email and generate a list of tasks". The results are often irrelevant (eg. respond to calendar event XXX from last week).

with notion 3 I can now rapidly build out resource pages for new instructors who are trying to learn teaching concepts such as idea chunking, Flow state, and blooms taxonomy. The ability to perform many Instructional design tasks and face toward the client with the AI agent is a true and profound game changer.
Good Potential, Needs More Personalized AI Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Notion helps me organize my tasks and focus on daily priorities, addressing my time blindness. It's great to see tasks in Kanban and calendar views, linking seamlessly to projects. The dashboard feature is very helpful. Notion AI is a fantastic tool for setup and task management, enhancing my productivity significantly. The promise of AI agents working in the background is very enticing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Notion quite challenging. It felt like starting with a blank page, and although the AI assistant was available, I would have appreciated more personalized guidance. Specifically, recommendations on how other consultants or entrepreneurs utilize the tool would have been very beneficial. Additionally, I wished for a more customized setup process that could cater to my style of absorbing information, as I am a visual learner. Creating a dashboard tailored to my specific needs without having to manually search for configurations would be ideal. Another area of potential improvement is the integration capabilities. I have not been able to link other helpful tools like ChatGPT or my calendar efficiently with Notion, which means my workflow requires cumbersome switching between platforms. Finally, I'd like to see more tools and interfaces designed specifically for entrepreneurs, allowing seamless integration with various other platforms like Google Drive.

I use Notion to organize tasks, focus daily work, manage my pipeline and projects, and plan content, easing my time blindness. It centralizes my documents, aiding in visibility and project linkage while enhancing task and content management.
Notion is a lfiesaver!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how versatile it is - I can use it both professionally and personally easily, without mixing where things shouldn't be mixed. It keeps my team organized and on-task, and I love the AI meeting transcription and summaries.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is STEEP - it took me quite a while to get comfortable with it. Notion has decent guides, but I think more "quick start" tutorials, and more in-depth on how all the different components can talk to each other, would be hugely beneficial.

Project organization and meeting transcription/notetaking
Notion - My Enterprise KM and AI Writing Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I keep all of my daily notes in Notion. I’m easily able to retrieve, add, append, or edit notes, and it even has a great AI Note taking capability for meetings where I’m facilitating and can’t take my own. It also has great Task / Calendar integration and process documentation capabilities. I use Notion all day every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s really not much to dislike about Notion. The only downside I can think of is that I’m probably not taking full advantage of all the app integrations it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps things organized and allows me to share, only what I wish to share, very easily with others. The AI Note taking app is better than any other I’ve used.
Excellent tool with constant useful update
What do you like best about the product?
I love using notion to build databases and link my information. I find the AI functionality really useful - the ability to use AI to build based on a description makes this a really amazing platform to use. I like the AI notetaker and the fact that it's the to hand in the documentation platform already. It is a incredibly valuable platform for a variety of purposes - from linked databases to content structures and documentation to automations.
Implementing and researching how to do things are also super simple on Notion - there are helpful guides and you can often find the answer in the Help Centre.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little glitchy sometimes and we have had instances where things on a database disappear but on the whole the platform is great and the support team are really good at assisting when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has allowed us to create multiple databases and processes for the agency that are simple and easy to use and allow us greater flexibility in processes and the ability to see information in a really clear way.
I would say we have benefitted as a team from using Notion and that it has solved project management and information visibility issues.

AI that makes my notes and transcripts actually useful
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI is great at turning my scattered notes and meeting transcripts into something actionable. Being able to ask questions and have AI pull from all my past notes and docs saves me a huge amount of time. It feels like having a personal assistant who actually remembers everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI takes a moment to process longer documents, and the output can be a bit generic if the context isn’t clear enough. But overall, it has improved a lot and is genuinely useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me centralize all my notes, meeting transcripts, and documents in one place, then use AI to quickly surface insights or create summaries. Instead of digging through different files, I can ask a question and get a clear answer with context from past work. This saves me time, reduces duplication, and makes decision-making much faster.
Amazing platform
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is very easy to use and integrates seamlessly with both our team and the other tools we rely on. We all use Notion daily for our internal use and management of opportunities and deal flow in addition to the AI tools for note taking and task building.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to get used to lay out before fully being able to effectively create pages and spaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AI note-taking feature for video meetings has really made my life easier by keeping everything organized in one place. As a result, it has saved us a significant amount of time, allowing us to focus more on other tasks and pursue new business opportunities.
Notion is easy to start up, difficult to maintain.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of Notion to create multiple project management tools and docs. I find the product very easy to use, but not necessarily robust as a project management software. Extremely quick to get off the ground, difficult to establish best practices for long term use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like job/task entry is tedious. This should be automated and the AI agent function is lacking. Dashboards are difficult to create and the same flexibility of Notion needs more documentation or structure. Difficult to bring on new people who feel overwhelmed. I wish there was a more structured project management template with built in guides for new onboards. Coworkers do not use the product frequently and I wish there was a way to tie the product into Microsoft Teams, our primary collaboration tool.
