AI Meetings Are Filling a Hole
What do you like best about the product?
I love using notion for workspaces within our non-profit college organization.
We utilize Notion for three workspaces among admissions, marketing, and development.
Ultimately, the ease of use for databases, tracking, forms, CRM lead tracking, and AI meeting notes has filled a hole that we were experiencing in staffing. AI meetings in particular help us easily record our team meetings and set action points with minimal edits or adjustments to what is recorded. It's truly an exceptional product that we continue to build on and anticipate rolling out to other departments within the institution. We frequently use the software to assess our marketing analytics and strategies and it works very well.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I see thus far is the inability to integrate Gmail into our CRM database, so that development officers could tie email communications to contacts that they are working with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue of not having someone to take minutes during meetings. It also helps us manage projects with deadlines and easy to set reminders for workspace users to stay on track with projects.
it feels like a notebook, and it offers multiple cover and page designs that I can apply.”
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can take notes(notion AI) while searching, and it’s nice that other users share how they use the software, so I can learn from them too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires some initial learning, and to be honest, I’m still getting the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, I struggled to study deeply because my knowledge was spread out across different apps, making it hard to keep everything organized. Now, with this platform, I can link directly to web pages or any resources I want to gather, which really helps me concentrate and makes my learning process much more efficient.
Powerful Tool with a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I love having all my data organized in the way I want, right at my fingertips. The visual aspect of Notion is pleasing, making it easy to manage and view my information effectively. I also appreciate how I can link different types of files together for a personalized dashboard and project structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion to be somewhat fragile and unstable, especially when using it in a team scenario. Team members can change or delete things, leading to lost data, which is problematic. This fragility has caused me to stop using shared boards and instead have everyone use their own instance. Also, there is a challenge in integrating Notion with other tools, as the process can be very cumbersome and frustrating. I wish there was a way to lock features to prevent changes once set up, and the overall experience with integrations, guided by AI instructions, hasn't been smooth. Moreover, Notion requires a devoted use and some knowledge of coding to fully utilize its features, which can be lengthy and discourages some users because of the extra work involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize and customize my data visually, creating a personal dashboard for accessing information efficiently, despite its fragility and integration challenges.
Essential for Life Organization, Needs Smarter AI
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for organizing my life, whether for school, work, or managing multiple businesses, as it consolidates everything in one location, keeping me on track effortlessly. The user-friendly interface with features like databases and Kanban boards helps me stay organized and prioritize my tasks, eliminating the need to constantly plan my next steps. I discovered Notion's capability to integrate with various aspects of my life, thanks to influencers showcasing its customizable options, sparking a strong interest in utilizing its full potential. Overall, these features greatly enhance my productivity and organization skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial organization within Notion challenging. While it's user-friendly for small-scale tasks, getting databases linked correctly and creating dashboards that align with my conceptual vision took a significant learning curve and a lot of time watching different YouTube videos. Also, I'm not impressed with the AI features in Notion. They feel more like a glorified search engine for organizing existing content rather than offering insightful, external AI capabilities. Additionally, the experience with setup led to unexpected charges, which was frustrating, particularly when I just wanted some setup help from my nephew.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my multifaceted life, helping me brain dump and prioritize tasks without overthinking my next steps, thereby simplifying and aligning everything in one location.
The true all-in-one tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notion offers such a versatile set of tools that I feel there are virtually no limits to what it can accomplish. I've often told my coworkers that, with Notion, "there should never be another pain point or pinch point in my workflow ever again." It integrates seamlessly with everything I need, making my tasks much easier. Thanks to the AI features, I was able to transfer nearly all of my work processes into Notion in no time. After just a week of using it, I found myself fully committed to the system. I can't start my workday without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of refining that can be done to the existing features. There's nothing I can't work around, but it'd be nice if workarounds weren't required in the first place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There has been a software that I've been begging to have exist for years, something that could track and notify me about multiple different certifications for hundreds of different people, track their expirations, and send emails as necessary based on which certifications are about to expire, or at least send me an email alert to reach out to that person. When you search online to see if this software exists, you find thesis papers about why this software would be revolutionary, yet nobody's bothered to create it--Notion built it for me in 10 minutes. Absolute game-changer. I will recommend Notion to every person I ever meet.
We're implementing actual helpdesking systems for our employees using forms that automatically assign the correct person to the problem. We're tracking vacations that require multi-level management approval. Managing meeting note access according to assignee groups, managing all event meeting tasks and notes in a single dashboard, and we've created a company-wide inventory list. All things we had no way of doing previously.

All-in-one workspace for research and project management
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is extremely flexible and customizable, making it easy to adapt for personal productivity as well as team collaboration. I especially like the ability to combine documents, databases, and task boards in one place. It’s intuitive to use once you get familiar with it, and the templates save a lot of time when setting up new projects. For academic research and knowledge management, it helps me organize notes, references, and writing drafts seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is performance when handling very large databases or pages—it can become slow at times. The offline mode is also limited, which makes it less reliable when traveling or working without stable internet. In addition, the learning curve can be steep for new users since the flexibility sometimes feels overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps centralize all my research materials, project notes, and task management in one place. Previously, information was scattered across different apps and hard to track, but now I can maintain a structured knowledge base that connects documents, databases, and tasks seamlessly. This improves collaboration, reduces time spent searching for files, and makes it easier to stay organized and productive.
Bespoke Solutions and Seamless AI Integration with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I love the bespoke nature of Notion, allowing me to craft a personalized system that feels indispensably mine. The AI integrations are outstanding, enhancing my productivity and offering the best experience. Its ability to centralize information efficiently has been game-changing, seamlessly integrating with Claude AI, and it's consistently available across all my devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I initially found the AI integration within Notion a little bit limited. It was not as intuitive or powerful in the beginning as I had hoped. Additionally, there are legislative restrictions in the UK that prevent me from fully integrating my Chat GPT plus account with Notion, which is inconvenient. Moreover, although I've found workarounds with tools like Zapier, I still face limitations in how Claude AI parses information, not directly tied to Notion but affecting its use. Also, there's a bit of a learning curve if you're not prepared to customize your templates which may not appeal to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a one-stop shop for organizing and centralizing all my information, improving data integration and customization. Its AI tools help me create bespoke solutions, and its seamless integration with other systems like Gmail enhances my productivity.
Notion changed my life
What do you like best about the product?
Genuinely the best £20 a month I spend. I am a tiny one person band and it’s wonderful - I’ve been a notion fan for years and it keeps getting better. Genuinely excited by what updates they bring out next.
What do you dislike about the product?
the mobile app isn’t as good - and the ability to be able to delete things easily is a worry sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has been helpful in making my ADHD brain more organised and keeping track of my daily tasks and projects
Perfect for AI organization of notes, ideas and prompts
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy ti implement and create new databases and views. I love the AI feature and the fact that it seamlessly finds, edits, and creates new entries and whole data sets too. The meeting note taker has been a complete game changer for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. There is a bit of a learning curve with all the advanced applications but to start, it's easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion every day for note taking when on a zoom call or when needing to take a voice note or transcribe a video. It solves having notes scattered everywhere and not easily searchable. With notion I push a button, have my meeting, and my meeting notes, transcript, and summary are all in my database and compleately searchable, and ACTIONABLE with the build in AI
Notion has replaced so many other systems for me
What do you like best about the product?
It is a powerhouse project management and notetaking tool. I used it to organize everything when I wrote my first book, from mood boards to interviews with other authors to the budget. I use it to organize everything for my podcast, and it keeps everything connected. I even use it in my personal life to keep track of those little things that I need to remember (like answers to secret questions to log into websites, and what everybody in my family likes to order from different restaurants). I like the Chrome extension for bookmarking sites that I need to refer back to. The addition of their AI tools makes it even better. It transcribes all of my meetings and summarizes them. I can use their most recent AI upgrade to have it build new pages for me. The internal search is outstanding. You can also connect it to many other platforms. I also use their Mail and Calendar, which also helps keep everything together in one place and connected. Their customer support is fast and helpful. They even provide some 1:1 live support. This is one of the first apps I open every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may not be suitable for everyone, as it is based on a database model. It takes a little while to get used to building new pages or customizing templates you have purchased or downloaded. You can't sketch or do any freeform activities (like make boxes, add arrows to things). It is limited in the fonts and colors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize everything in one place. Since everything is in one system, it is easy to find things, connect data, and avoid the need for or expense of multiple systems. Without Notion, I would need to copy and paste data from one system to another.
