An ever-evolving product worth investing
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out to me is its power and versatility across all areas of our company. The AI keeps getting better, and the recent, frequent updates have truly convinced me to stick with this product. As more of my work, whether it's projects, meetings, wikis, or planning, gets managed within the software, it has become my primary AI tool. I recently created my first tracker that brings together our asset, development, and design teams into a single project, and the feedback from the team has been very positive. Please continue with the frequent updates and ongoing innovation!
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I found it quite overwhelming. The "blank canvas" approach left me feeling disoriented, and it took me nearly a year to become truly comfortable using it. I also depended on insights from other influencers and reviewers to grasp its full potential. Although I'm still learning, the rewards have definitely made the effort worthwhile so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing together note-taking, knowledge retrieval, and project timelines in a single platform has been a game-changer. I used to bounce between several tools and my team was forced to do the same.
Highly Flexible with a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Notion for more than a year and a half to organize various aspects such as work and personal projects. I appreciate its ability to help me organize information efficiently in my busy life, especially how it provides reminders to keep me on task. The feature to organize tasks under projects and collect notes under tasks is very useful. The integration of AI into Notion is a significant advancement as it addresses repetitive task issues and enhances functionality without needing technical skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion has a learning curve, especially when trying to utilize higher functionalities like automations. It took me about a month to get accustomed to it. The app's reminder system is not powerful enough; it typically provides simple notifications that can easily be missed if not customized properly. I believe that Notion should allow for highly customizable reminder setups, including voice alerts, at specific intervals, to ensure tasks are completed on time. Additionally, when creating a page and a table with certain properties, there should be an easier method to transfer these properties to another page or database without having to start from scratch. This could significantly enhance productivity when working with large sets of properties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my busy life, providing reminders and helping me accomplish tasks efficiently. Its AI capabilities aid those without technical skills, while the integration with other software enhances my productivity.
Best notes and documentation app there is
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of just getting started to write in a collaborative environment. We use it daily across the team, from engineering, product, leadership to operations and customer support. Its the most efficient tool we have and has been foundational in the operation of our startup.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few quirks, especially around the new AI features. I like the concept of the agent editing pages and starting databses, but it still does plenty of mistakes that causes me to reset my progress. Better for smaller scoped items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal documentation and record keeping for remote teams. Organize projects with stakeholders ranging from head of engineering, product, and CEO. Able to consolidate knowledge across integrations in the same place and able to have it as the backbone for decision making.
Total Game-changer!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can create portals for my social media clients. I mainly create content calendars and with Notion I use the calendar + gallery layout then my clients can open them c copy the caption & download the image. I also can share my ideas, quick links, etc. The perfect client portal!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit confusing and I wish there was a block to add for clients to add overall comments or messages. I only give my clients comment access so they don’t delete/edit things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the need for several platforms. A lot of people in my industry use google docs, slack, etc. for all of the needs. I can just use notion for everything!
Notion Empowers Knowledge Management, Needs Outlook Sync
What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate Notion AI for its impressive ability to manage my personal knowledge base by taking my meeting notes across various platforms like Zoom and Google Meet. The integration with Zotero simplifies referencing and literature management, linking seamlessly to my knowledge base for easy future reference. Additionally, the use of intuitive templates greatly simplifies setting up pages and databases, even for someone transitioning from other note-taking platforms. Notion's overall functionality, managing both work-related tasks and personal items, ensures everything is well-organized and easy to track.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial setup difficult for new users, especially understanding the database and page linking. There is a lack of integration with Microsoft Outlook, which is crucial for me as my university uses it extensively, affecting my workflow with calendars and emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage my knowledge base, streamline administrative tasks, and efficiently handle teaching and research materials. It helps me organize resources and integrate meeting notes, making it easier to access information and improve productivity.
Intuitive and Powerful, But AI Rollout Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive Notion is for setting it up as an intranet, making it easy to navigate and find files with a super intuitive interface. I also adore the search function that allows me to efficiently find specific information, even from our Google Drive. The ability to easily build and create new pages, with the flexibility to drill down into details or view things superficially, is a standout feature for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the recent AI integration in Notion to be a bit overwhelming and feel somewhat left behind with the changes. The rollout of AI-enabled elements lacks enough guidance and feels tricky to navigate. I also experienced difficulties with integrating Notion using tools like Zapier, which felt too clunky and challenging due to my limited technical skills.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize and navigate our internal files, solving our Google Suite mess. Its search function helps find contract details easily, and the intuitive setup process streamlines building an intranet for our team.
Effortlessly Organizes Both Work and Personal Life

I like that Notion is easy to use and dynamic, and it serves as a 'second brain' for both my work and personal projects. I appreciate the good UX, which makes it fun to spend time in. It loads fast, and the initial setup was easy. I also find it easier to use than our previous tool, Monday.

Versatile Tool but Challenging Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion incredibly versatile and valuable in keeping everything organized in a single, centralized location. The AI-powered meeting notes are a standout feature, allowing me to efficiently document meetings, even on Zoom calls, without any visible AI presence. The ability to create databases and separate workspaces is essential, especially since I manage multiple projects across different teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion difficult to set up initially, facing a large learning curve. It required watching several videos, yet I still felt confused about setting up databases effectively. I wish there was a more centralized learning center from the beginning to help understand how to use it better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves my organization challenges by centralizing meeting notes, data, and team collaboration into one space, enhancing our work efficiency.
