Flexible, Clean UI That Centralizes Notes, Tasks, and Databases

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is its flexibility and clean UI. It lets me organize notes, tasks, and databases in one place without feeling cluttered. The grad-and-drop blocks make it easy to customize workflows, even without technical skills. Integrations and embeds are useful for centralizing work. Performance is smooth for most use cases, and the AI features genuinely help with summarizing and drafting content. Overall, it offers a strong value by replacing multiple tools, making it a solid choice for both personal and professional productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Notion is that performance can slow down with large or complex pages, especially databases. The flexibility can also become a drawback; there's a learning curve, and it's easy to overcomplicate setups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves scattered tools by combining notes, tasks, and docs in one workspace. It reduces context switching and improves organization. For me, it simplifies workflow management, centralizes information, and boosts productivity by making everything easily accessible and customizable in one place.

Using structured workspaces has clarified roadmaps but still needs faster search and analytics

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Notion is creating quarterly or yearly roadmaps and setting timelines to track feature and idea development. I heard about Notion from a friend and am using it for the creation of PRDs and personally learning product management so I can switch my career to product management. I use Notion to prioritize my goals.

One recent specific example of how I use Notion for my projects involved tracking one of my projects that was causing frustration. For that problem, it helped me show the real-time location of delivery drivers on a map. The success metric, complaint reduction, changed by thirty percent.

I am using Notion because it is handy for me right now. I can keep everything organized there, making it quite easy for me to use. It helps me write features and ideas clearly and explain the problem, which becomes easy for me. Additionally, I can track my work, decide what matters, prioritize everything, and store knowledge including notes and previous decisions.

What is most valuable?

The best features Notion offers are the ones I know because I have not been using many related products. I can switch between multiple databases and switch views from table, Kanban board, calendar, and timeline. I can also connect databases, see everything interconnected, generate action items, summarize meetings, write PRDs, roadmaps, and sprint boards.

There is also automation that helps trigger actions, conditions, and logic. Notion impacts my organization positively as it has made many changes for prioritizing things both personally and organizationally.

What needs improvement?

I think Notion can be improved in several areas. It has a slow loading page and laggy scrolling, which irritates me. Additionally, the search sometimes misses content inside pages, making it hard to find the exact information. The filters are not that effective, and when I need metrics, it is difficult to find them. There are no built-in charts or deep analytics dashboards, and current automation is also limited. External tools are sometimes needed, but there is no structure for that.

I would add that there is limited control for large teams, and managing access at a detailed level is difficult. Editing on the phone is clunky, making it very difficult to work if I am using the phone to do something. Offline mode has limited functionality, and I need internet for smooth use. The performance also needs improvement.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Notion for about a year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Notion is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Notion's scalability is good.

How are customer service and support?

I have not used customer support, so I'm not sure about this. Once I get to use it, I will provide feedback.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Notion is the first solution I have used.

How was the initial setup?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Notion because I was still new to this field. Someone suggested there are other solutions, but they told me I should go with Notion since they were already working on it and had experience with some other tools. They believed that Notion would be the best fit for me.

What was our ROI?

I am still working on finding a new job or working on new projects, so I am not sure if Notion has given me any ROI yet. Once something happens, I will provide feedback, but for now, it is still a work in progress.

What other advice do I have?

I would suggest that since I am a newbie, anyone switching to a more product management-oriented domain should work with Notion. It will be easier for them on the first try, and later on, if they gain some experience, it will become easier for them. For experienced users, since I do not have much experience, I cannot say much. I would rate this review as a six overall.

Flexible Collaboration with Room for Improvement

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion for work because it helps me follow the history of each project without having to search. I appreciate how it allows me to share with colleagues by tagging them, which makes collaboration with other teams easier. It's valuable that I can add and remove people on each project page, which helps have specific people share in our projects. The ability to quote links is useful since it provides instant access to information I need. I also find Notion to be more flexible and intuitively designed for both individual and team use compared to what we used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing the size, color of the text is impossible. Also, the initial setup wasn't easy as people kept deleting the pages that other people created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to follow the history of each project effortlessly and collaborate efficiently. Tagging colleagues and linking content in project pages helps in sharing and accessing information instantly.

Versatile and Intuitive, Needs Better Offline Support

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for organizing my tasks, taking AI notes, and attempting to build agents for automation. I love how versatile and intuitive it is. The AI integration is a standout feature for me, especially for meeting notes, as it summarizes meetings and tasks, which I can then tick off as I complete them. The ability to personalize my templates and workflows fully makes Notion my own. I particularly enjoy having all my tasks for both work and personal life in one place, which boosts my productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The blocks can be overwhelming. I would love a more robust offline mode too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize tasks, take AI meeting notes, and build automation agents, all in one place. It helps me multitask without multiple tabs, and personalizes my workflows, making me more productive and allowing me to easily track my completed tasks.

Solid all-in-one workspace

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The biggest strength of Notion is how intuitively it lets you organize documents. I've been using it consistently as my main note-taking and document management tool, and the structure of pages, sub-pages, and databases makes it really easy to keep everything tidy without much effort. The flexibility of blocks lets me build anything from quick notes to structured wikis in the same workspace, and the clean UI makes it approachable even for people who are just starting to organize their digital life. For anyone new to documentation tools, I would recommend Notion without hesitation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The native AI features inside Notion rely on token consumption tied to the paid AI add-on, which made me hesitant to use them regularly. I ended up rarely touching Notion AI because the cost-to-value ratio didn't feel right for my use case. Connecting external AI tools through APIs is also less smooth compared to folder-based alternatives like Obsidian, where local files and community plugins make AI integration much more flexible and customizable. For power users who are comfortable with computers and want deep AI tool integration, Notion's closed structure can feel limiting. A more open approach to external AI workflows and lighter pricing on the AI features would make a big difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the everyday problem of scattered notes and disorganized documents. Before adopting it, my information was spread across different apps, folders, and quick memos that I rarely revisited. With Notion, I now have a single workspace where meeting notes, project plans, personal knowledge bases, and reference material all live together with clear hierarchy. The database views also help me track tasks and content in a structured way without needing a separate project management tool. The biggest benefit is the time I save when looking things up later, since everything is searchable and linked. It has become my default place to think, plan, and document.

Notion’s Flexibility Keeps Everything Organized in One Place

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how flexible it is. I can use it for notes, tasks, and organizing information all in one place, and set it up in a way that works for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like as much is that it can feel a bit slow at times, especially with larger pages. It also takes a while to set things up the way you want, since there’s not much structure by default.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep everything in one place instead of scattered across different apps. I use it for notes, tasks, and general organization, so it’s easier to find things and stay on top of what I’m doing.

Simplified Note-Taking, But Can Get Chaotic

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion really good for note-taking and recording meetings. It's got a very simple interface that makes it easy to use, yet it offers a lot of features. It's like a notes app but lets you do a whole lot more, which I think sort of gives me the best of both worlds. I appreciate that it has a simpler workflow that allows me to add AI notes from meetings into documents, giving me all the context needed for larger projects. The setup was really simple since we were already using Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yeah. Absolutely. There's I think the hardest thing with Notion is it's so disorganized. It gets so, like, so full of documents and pages, and it feels almost impossible to keep track of all of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion simplifies my workflow by letting me add AI meeting notes into documents with project context, making it really good for note-taking and sharing context across the team.

A One-Stop Productivity Hub for Work and Personal Dashboards

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion seems like a one stop shop for all sorts of tracking and productivity. I use it to create dashboards for work as well as personal life. It has definitely improved my life
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is kinda hard to learn and understand. I had to watch a lot of youtube videos to learn. That is something notion lacks in. They should include a 5-10 second tutorial for all sorts of features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is more or less keeping me on track in my life. After using Notion, I make some good dashboards and track my fitness goals, work tasks and my daily activities in general

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and flexible it is to create pages, add comments, add things like images, tables, links, icons.
UI is also very pleasing and I like the minimal design style
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I just want to type a slash instead of a command. Recently the UI has changed a bit so it was confusing and hard for me to find the search bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us with writing and organizing documentation. It makes it very easy to find documents and search across all of them, and decide who they're shared with. I also like how comments appear in the doc in a non-obtrusive way
