Notion review of transcription and document import

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of transcription and summary. We will be using it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having OCR to import signed documents that were scanned as a pdf. OneNote has the ability to print file into it and convert into searchable format.

It requires a lot of knowledge to learn how to use the best options of data organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is the best at transcriptions and auto summarizing

Notion for AI workflows

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Notion for a while now, and like how well it integrates with Python via the Notion API as well as with low code tools like Zapier and Make.com. I have used Notion to develop automation workflows with OpenAI, and it has worked seamlessly. I love the fact that databases can be created using Notion. Moreover, it can be seamlessly integrated with monitoring tools like Grafana, enabling real-time alerts in Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many customized views and custom databases can confuse people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to set up databases for small to medium projects
The ability to integrate with platforms seamlessly
The speed with which integrations can be done

    E-Learning

I have ditched Google Docs after working on Notion.

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Since I work as a learning specialist in an edtech startup, our LMS is connected with Notion. Everything we write in Notion is visible on the platform.

The best things, in simple words, are:

I can embed a lot of different things like H5P, videos, etc.

The stackable way of creating content—I can create a page under a page under a page, which is very useful for keeping things organized and aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI feature is quite costly. You should consider bringing the price down so we don’t have to leave Notion to use ChatGPT.

Two features I would like:

- The ability to delete single cells in a table.

- The option to color each row or column differently, or even color individual cells.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an edtech company that creates courses for externships for students. Our LMS is connected to Notion, so all the content we create in Notion is directly uploaded to the LMS. This integration allows us to work primarily in Notion all day, streamlining our workflow and eliminating the need to manually transfer content between platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use the desktop application and the app is extremely intuitive to use. Additionally, the note taking capabilities allow me to seamlessly share information with my peers. I also use Notion calendar and love it. I use Notion throughout my daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It did take some time to pick up speed and understand the app. Once that's done, it becomes intuitive. I really recommend jumping in and using it for all of your notetaking requirements to quickly learn the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the note taking software for internal meetings to ensure I have good notes. It has been invaluable.

A Game-Changer for Knowledge Management

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how it combines AI, organization, and search into one seamless workspace. The AI Writing Assistant helps me turn ideas into polished text quickly, the Knowledge Management tools keep everything organized in one place, and the Enterprise Search means I can find exactly what I need in seconds. It’s the only tool I’ve used that truly saves me time and makes my work feel more structured. Because of my job I use it every day to find information relevant to my role, it's the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really have any dislikes. Since I mainly use it day-to-day, everything I need is already organized and easy to access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes all the information I need in one place, so I’m not switching between multiple tools or digging through folders. The AI Writing Assistant helps me create and refine content faster, and the Enterprise Search means I can find answers in seconds. It saves me time, keeps me organized, and makes my workday more efficient.

A great integrated way to collaborate

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the integrations with several sources.
It's like someone made a soup with all the ingredients (google workspace, CRMs, etc.) and sprinkled great design on top.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can take some time. But once one understands how it's built, then it all makes sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A great single platform to connect various sources.

Notion is a Breeze

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is easy to build documentation, formatting is a breeze, and Notion allows you to inserts tables and easily link to other documents. It is the most seamless documentation "hub" I have ever used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had better versioning control or used AI to find articles that were similar to help cut down on duplicate or outdated documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully remote company and therefore have a document heavy culture. Notion helps me easily create content, nestle in the right teamspace, and the newer AI capabilities make it easier for me to locate documentation internally.
