Notion, almost the best note taker
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I have everything in one place, all my notes, habit trakcer, even making websites. Its very easy not to make it look cultured, shared and endlessly create new stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could write over it on my ipad, I would love to pair handwritten notes with my notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of my notes in the one place, everything from all my classes.
AI benefits from this as it has all the information it needs and it doesnt go searching outside of notion making stuff up like ohter AIs do.

A digital Lego set for productivity. you build it, you live in it.
What do you like best about the product?
I like having everything in one place, creating my own experiences, and having a source of truth that reflects the way I absorb things best.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is how easy it is to get caught up customising instead of actually doing the work, and how it can slow down when pages or databases get too big.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the problem of scattered information by integrating seamlessly with Slack, Google, and other tools, and using Notion AI to pull internal knowledge is a game changer that makes finding and acting on information faster and easier.
A Flexible, All-in-One Workspace That Keeps Improving
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion’s incredible flexibility—it adapts to a wide range of needs, from simple note-taking to complex project management. The interface is clean and simple, yet offers dynamic features that allow me to manage almost everything in one place. Its ability to organize information in a highly structured way makes it easy to keep track of projects, tasks, and ideas. I also value how frequently Notion releases updates and how consistently it operates with a user-first mindset.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permission settings can be somewhat rigid, though a recent update announcement suggests this may soon improve. Additionally, its versatility can make it a bit challenging for beginners, and we occasionally encounter small issues when introducing it to new team members within the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has eliminated the need to juggle multiple tools for documentation, project management, and knowledge sharing. Everything—from meeting notes and task tracking to databases and dashboards—can be managed in one centralized workspace. This not only streamlines workflows but also improves transparency and collaboration across the team. By having a single source of truth, we reduce miscommunication, speed up decision-making, and make it easier for everyone to stay aligned on goals and priorities.
Expansion as an external memory device for knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Knowledge can be infinitely expanded as external storage devices. And sharing that knowledge is extremely easy.It also excels at linking with other services, making it a true all-in-one package for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently unavailable for offline use. There is little freedom in design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A team collaboration tool with a wide range of features, including memos, task management, calendars, spreadsheets, and wikis.
I've loved Notion from when I first picked it up but Notion AI takes the crown
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me organise and track my work in ways that I couldn't do before.
I'm quite the scrappy person and before notion, I'll make notes in multiple different places (Keep, Docs, Slack, Notes, even physical notebooks) but as someone whose brain is wired in a different way, I'll forget where to find what and often have to do the work again. Not anymore.
Since I started with Notion, I barely forget anything. It's just a search away and all the context is available but not just mine, all of the company's as well. It's amazing!
Notio AI now makes it even better. Automatic meeting notes taker, and even able to help me create complex databases with a single prompt? What's not to love?

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd have really loved to be able to start and finish all of my work inside notion and as much as there are so many tools already in notion, I hate that I have to go outside to create forms or even have to use Linear to manage issues. I should be able to do all that as effectively as other tools inside notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a lot.
Documentation tops the list. All doc's in one place, easy to share, easy to manage, easy to collaborate. Proper tagging, assignment of responsibility, etc. Very useful. AI with it's notetaking, summarization and database creation abilities now make documentation better. It's just great.
Then that cascades into Discovery. Better documentation means that it's easier for Product teams to share data and discover internal problems and opportunities better because everyone documents in the same place and mostly public. AI increases the velocity of that discovery. No more combing through multiple pages. Craft a good prompt and get your results.

Notion for knowledge management and AI tools
What do you like best about the product?
At my current company, Notion serves many different purposes. One of the most important ways that we use Notion today is for internal knowledge management. While this has been challenging to manage in the past, we're creating better frameworks using Notion workspaces and the emergence of Notion's AI tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Today, Notion AI still has a ways to go before it can meet all of my team's needs. For example, Notion doesn't support a huge amount of custom sources to integrate as part of AI powered querying/search.

- Project management and tracking for the Enablement team
- Main note-taking surface area for many teams across the company
- Internal documentation, including playbooks, standard operating procedures, demo guidelines, product hubs, and more

“An All-in-One Workspace That Boosts My Productivity”
What do you like best about the product?
“I like how Notion combines note-taking, task management, and knowledge sharing in one flexible platform. The AI Writing Assistant helps me write and organize content faster, the Knowledge Management tools make it easy to store and access important information, and the Enterprise Search saves me time by quickly finding what I need. The interface is intuitive, and the ability to customize pages and databases makes it suitable for both personal and team projects.”
What do you dislike about the product?
“While Notion is extremely versatile, it can feel a bit slow when loading large pages or databases, especially with many embedded files. The learning curve for setting up advanced features can also be steep for new users, and offline functionality is still limited compared to some other tools.”
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps centralize all my work documents, project plans, and meeting notes in one place, which significantly reduces the time spent searching for information. It also streamlines team collaboration by allowing real-time updates and shared databases, improving transparency and productivity across projects.
Powerful Tool for Knowledge Management
What do you like best about the product?
I found Notion frustrating to use for knowledge management. Its flexibility quickly becomes a downside without a clear structure, as workspaces can get messy and disorganised very fast. The search function is weak, especially for larger databases, making it difficult to find information efficiently. Offline access is minimal, which is a big problem when you need to work without internet. Integrations are limited unless you rely on third-party tools, adding extra complexity. Overall, Notion feels like a powerful tool that’s hard to tame and requires too much time and effort to maintain effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search functionality: Make search more powerful and intuitive, especially for large or complex knowledge bases, perhaps with better semantic or full-text search capabilities.
Offline access: Improve offline support so users can work seamlessly without an internet connection.
Ease of setup: Provide more guided templates and onboarding to help users create a clear, maintainable knowledge structure quickly.
Integration depth: Expand native integrations and API capabilities to reduce reliance on third-party tools and improve automation workflows.
Performance: Optimize loading speeds and responsiveness, especially for very large workspaces.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps centralise information that was previously scattered across documents, spreadsheets, and chat threads. By creating a single, organised knowledge base, it reduces time spent searching for information, improves team alignment, and keeps context intact. The ability to link pages, embed media, and collaborate in real time makes it easier to maintain an up-to-date, accessible source of truth for everyone.
