Powerful, Versatile, though a Bit Overwhelming at First
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is an incredibly powerful and flexible platform that I use daily. Its wide range of features makes it an exceptional project management tool, capable of handling everything from simple task lists to complex multi-database systems. The ability to integrate with other tools and customize workflows means it can fit seamlessly into almost any operational setup. Despite its depth, I’ve found it surprisingly easy to implement once the structure is set, and the organization it provides is unmatched. The platform’s versatility makes it ideal for both personal and team use, and customer support has been responsive and helpful when I’ve needed guidance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback is the steep learning curve—its vast functionality can be overwhelming at first. For new users, it takes time to figure out how to structure pages and databases in a way that feels intuitive. While Notion AI is a great addition, it could be better at prioritizing the most recent and relevant information in responses. For those willing to invest the time, the payoff in productivity and organization is significant, but it’s worth noting the initial ramp-up period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes all of my project management, documentation, and knowledge-sharing in one place, eliminating the need to juggle multiple tools. It allows me to create structured, linked databases that make tracking tasks, processes, and historical reference material seamless. This consolidation has reduced the time spent searching for information, improved team alignment, and given me a single source of truth for projects—especially when collaborating across departments. The flexibility to customize workflows means I can adapt it to different needs without losing efficiency, and its integrations ensure that it fits smoothly into my daily operations.
So much potential!
What do you like best about the product?
The versitility and range of applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it has a bit of a learning curve for less tech-savvy users.

Notion can be used to replace so many other software solutions out there. We were able to build our entire organization's onboarding process into Notion, use it as an intranet, a project manager, a note-taking aid, an AI meeting note-taker and so much more. I also use the calendar and mail features and there so much smarter and more intuitive than many other options out there.
AI Writing Assistant and Knowledge Management Review
What do you like best about the product?
I think its easy to use and add content as needed. Collaboration is great as well, with the ability to leave comments for other editors. Search functionality is good as well, though I think the AI search feature has some work (or it could be we need to improve our content for AI to be able to leverage it better)
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it tries its best at the UX being visually appealing, and it is decent for a plug and play product, but isnt as beautiful of a layout as a custom designed webpage could be. I have some challenges making notion pages look as nice or as customized as I'd like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to house internal comms pages and documents in a nice to use, centralized location where they can be easily updated.
Great, still learning capabilities but often takes multiple prompts to get desired outcome
What do you like best about the product?
The chat bot really helps me transform my ideas into reality. Rather than trying to build matrixes, synce pages, I can just ask the bot to do it for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
N/A- I really like Notion, I only dislike that I dont know how to connect with excel yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me manage my workflows. It is also helping me transcribe texts into digestable notes for my team.
An amazing tool to navigate our gigantic company documentation
What do you like best about the product?
It's the best way to document stuff in a collaborative fashion, super useful and easy in most use-cases, and with the usage of AI, incredibly powerful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever I want to tackle some complex integration or automation, I ran into a wall that doesn't allow me to get that last-mile configuration. Those are super specific cases, such as setting the initial index of a prefix that's already preset for a database, or better using the properties within the automations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writing lots of documentation and working collaboratively with my peers.
Flexible and Feature-Rich
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to embed images, PDFs, and links directly into my notes, which keeps everything organized in one place. The intuitive setup process made it easy for me to get started. Notion’s flexibility and features, like API integration with Jamie.ai, are invaluable, allowing seamless movement and organization of my meeting recordings. Additionally, the connection with Jamie.ai enhances my workflow by providing transcripts, summaries, and tasks for meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it really hard to figure out how to add tags to my documents in Notion, which makes it difficult to search for things easily. I haven't been able to find tags, so I haven't searched for them yet, but I can't find them. I also didn't think the transcript /meeting option was as accurate or detailed as Jamie.ai
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize my meeting notes, screenshots, PDFs, and links, which helps keep everything in one place for easy access and organization. I also use it to store my research and clips.
Game Changer!
What do you like best about the product?
As a new Project Manager, Notion has been a game changer! The new Forms layout makes it easy for teammates to open tickets with me, and I'm notified immediately. It's also easy to communicate on tickets/pages with team members.
I LOVE the AI Search feature that allows me to utilize ALL company resources within Notion to provide an answer, as well as to browse ChatGPT for other topics as well.
The pre-existing templates have also been great, there are a ton of different templates for everything you can think of. I've used the templates oten.

What do you dislike about the product?
This may be a setting that I'm unaware of as I wasn't involved in the setup of our Notion account, but if we could restrict teams to only use pre-approved templates for each of their departments, that would be ideal. Currently each department has set up their own page and the lack of consistency is confusing.
Additionally, there are some nuances in formatting some of the pages, but this is likely due to user error :)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously I was using Notes and Google Sheets to help me try and stay organized. Notion has been very beneficial in streamlining our processes, the ticketing process allows visibility at a high (and low) level, and it's helpful to showcase all the projects I've been working on to leadership, and the steps that have been involved to get a project from A-Z.
A powerhouse of flexible tools for managing the work of our business
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of document creation and the power found in its database configuration, make it incredibly flexible for our team to address project management, task tracking, resource management, internal communications, and more all in one place. We had used numerous other products before this one and have solidly landed on Notion as our preferred primary solution for our team. With Notion we can organized information around clients, projects, tasks, and people in the numerous and most productive ways that make the most sense to our work. As a team this is a single most important tool for daily work for our team members. We have paired it with Slack via automations to round out our team communications. Building out our own in house management solution ultimately has been simple and straightforward. We have been able to iteratively improve upon our use of Notion as we go ... discovering new ways to leverage its power to our advantage and integrate the regular new features they keep providing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because this product is not a dedicated solution for project management, resource management, or any of the other ways that people might use it, it does not have a specific point of view on how those things should be executed. By design, it does not align with standards in these areas in order to be more flexible. As a result, managing, maintaining, and communicating about the processes you set up using its flexible features may be more cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is our single point of truth. We have developed the practice of depositing and organizing all our work information into Notion so that we can use its search and AI to quickly get ongoing answers to questions about our clients, projects, and tasks. Notion has brought an easy way to document, organize, and track our work from conception to completion.
