Powerful, But With Some Trade-offs
What do you like best about the product?
The seamless integration of everything in one place is Notion's strongest selling point. Instead of juggling between different apps for notes, databases, project management, and documentation, everything lives cohesively in a single workspace. The ability to link between pages, embed databases anywhere, and have all my information interconnected powerful for both personal and team use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can be frustratingly sluggish, especially with larger databases or when switching between pages quickly. The loading times add up throughout the day and can interrupt your flow. Additionally, Notion has a very opinionated approach to how you should organize and interact with your information - you're essentially forced to adapt to their paradigm rather than having the flexibility to work the way you naturally would.

The One App I Couldn't Work Without
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, before Notion, my digital life was a total mess. I had notes, links, and to-do lists scattered across three or four different apps. What I absolutely love is how Notion let me pull all of that chaos into one single, organized hub.
The real game-changer for me, though, is being able to access it from anywhere. As a tester, my work involves specific codes and test payloads. The fact that I can log into my Notion account on any computer even if I don't have my own laptop and have all of that critical information instantly available is huge. It’s not just about being organized; it’s about having my essential work tools with me no matter where I am.

What do you dislike about the product?
I genuinely don't have any personal dislikes with Notion right now, but I can see how it could be overwhelming for a new user. If you're looking for a super simple app you can open and use immediately with zero setup, Notion might feel intimidating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep all my work as a pentester organized. It holds all my commands, payloads, and to-do lists. The best part is I can get to all of it from any device, which makes my job much easier and less stressful.
Notion helped me finally stick to my habits
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Notion almost every day for the past year to track my workouts and keep up with daily learning. Before this, I’d constantly lose track of habits and forget useful things I came across. Now, everything’s in one place: ideas, progress, and goals, so it’s much easier to stay consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
For beginners, it can be confusing. I wish Notion offered ready-made projects or templates based on a user’s niche right from the start. It would help a lot if they asked how you planned to use it and then set things up for you. When I first started, I got stuck and wasn’t sure how to make it work for my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping me stay consistent with my habits, mainly daily exercise and learning. Before, I’d lose track after a week or two and forget useful things I came across. Now I can quickly capture ideas, track progress, and keep everything in one place, which makes it much easier to follow through on my goals.
