  • February 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is its flexibility and all-in-one workspace. It seamlessly combines notes, tasks, databases, and collaboration, letting me organize ideas and projects exactly how I want.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is that it can feel overwhelming at first. Too many customization options and complex features sometimes make simple tasks slower and harder to set up quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered tools by combining notes, tasks, databases, and collaboration in one place. This benefits me by keeping everything organized, reducing distractions, improving productivity, and making it easier to track projects and ideas efficiently.

Versatile Documentation with Room for Improvement

  • February 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion because it's very easy to ask the cursor to generate a markdown file, such as a tech spec, and dump it directly into Notion. I like that it supports mermaid diagrams and markdown rendering out of the box, which allows me to generate and render diagrams like HLD, LLD, and sequence diagrams directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have difficulty searching for what I want in Notion. Also, a few features like tables are not as sophisticated as they are in Confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is where I centralize my private notes and documentation before public reviews. It's easy to generate markdown files and mermaid diagrams, which Notion renders directly.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion: an all-in-one, flexible workspace—notes, databases, kanban, docs, templates and real-time collaboration—highly customizable for any workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its mobile app is sluggish, the "everything is a block", reorganization through dragging feels off on mobile app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion kills the "app-switching tax" by unifying docs, tasks, and data. This boosts focus, centralizes your thoughts and lets you build custom tools that fit your unique mental workflow.

Intuitive and Versatile, Needs AI Improvement

  • February 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion easy to use and intuitive, especially when learning new tools and understanding the basic commands. I also like how the templates are easy to personalize and there's generally one for everything. The initial setup was very easy, despite there being a learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't believe the AI agent understands what to build even with very detailed directions. Also, the explanation of the AI logic and why it did something could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me with customer organization, managing different project phases, and tracking progress.

A Cleaner, More Customizable Notes App for Planning and Tasks

  • February 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for team planning but primarily for individual notes, organization, and tasks. It's like my Notes app, but better – more customization, while still remaining technically and visually simple and clean. It's been easy to implement in new roles, as each company I've worked for has used Notion (but often in different ways). I use it constantly and daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more powerful Notion becomes (like adding AI tools) it can feel like it's trying to do TOO much and become multiple tools in one, when I originally went for simplicity and organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep organized notes, prioritize and stay on top of tasks, and visualize my different types of tasks and notes. It makes me more organized and able to access information quickly when I need it.

Flexible, All-in-One Project Management That Scales With You

  • February 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how flexible it is for project management. I can customize everything, including databases, views, templates, and workflows, to fit exactly how I think and work instead of forcing myself into a rigid system.

I especially love being able to see the same information in multiple ways, such as Kanban boards, timelines, calendars, and simple lists, without duplicating work. It makes it easy to manage tasks, track progress, and keep notes all in one place. Having projects, documentation, and action items connected in a single workspace keeps everything organized and reduces the need for multiple tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is that it can sometimes feel a little too flexible. While customization is a strength, it also means there is a learning curve, and it takes time to set up systems that work well long term.

Performance can occasionally slow down with larger databases, especially when using complex filters, relations, and rollups. I also wish some features were more intuitive out of the box, like recurring tasks and advanced reporting, without needing workarounds.

Overall, it is powerful, but it requires intention and maintenance to keep everything clean and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered information and tool overload. Before using it, projects, notes, task lists, and documentation were spread across multiple platforms, which made it harder to stay organized and see the bigger picture.

By centralizing everything into one workspace, it helps me connect projects, tasks, and reference materials in a structured way. The ability to link databases and create custom views means I can track progress, manage deadlines, and keep documentation aligned without duplicating information.

The biggest benefit for me is clarity. I can see priorities at a glance, maintain consistency across projects, and reduce mental clutter. Instead of switching between tools, I have one system that supports planning, execution, and long-term organization.

Simple and Efficient Organization with Notion

  • February 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like to create database tables in Notion, where I can create pages with content and organize them in a single view. I like the option to add columns with different statuses to help visualize the material. Additionally, I think the initial setup of Notion was simple, and I have been using the tool for years and really like it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if it makes sense, but something that happens a lot is different people working on the same things and we have no way of knowing if some material already exists many times. Something that would be useful would be to receive recommendations when starting a document, in case there is already similar content. For example: I am writing a document about internal projects and I receive a pop-up that there is already a similar document written, and it suggests reviewing, maybe merging, or continuing the new document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my day-to-day and prioritize tasks. I like to create tables with pages organized in a single view, using status columns to facilitate the visualization of the material.

I use Notion as a database for specific information about my company. I like the efficiency in locating data and its easy-to-use UI. I appreciate the accessibility, clean design, and organization. I also like how it's collaborative, allowing anyone on the team to edit and add content. The initial setup was very easy, and I love the /go link shortcut.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing comes to mind at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a database for company information, and it enhances efficiency in locating data with an easy-to-use UI. I love its accessibility, clean design, and organization. Plus, it's collaborative, allowing team edits and additions.
