This experience with notion AI has changed my life.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can data drop mass amounts of information and it will process everything and summarize. I really like how it will outline information. It seems to be able to find more recent information as compared to chat GBT. It seems to be able to find more recent information as compared to chat GPT. I tend to use this to help me find and organize things in shopping for yi make smart purchases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how I cannot change topics when I'm on the same page. If I want to bounce from one topic to another topic and tells me that nothing on this page supports what I'm asking. When I tell it that I know, and I understand that, but that I would like to change topics it will adjust and work, but I don't like having to tell it that every time I want to switch gears.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to rewrite all my standard operating room procedures within the operative setting within this within surgery. I've been able to create a checklist and job aid to support clinical setting within medicine.

Incredible organizational tool
What do you like best about the product?
I wanted a tool to organize my hobbies, travel, research, journals, notes, thoughts and ideas. After trying notion.ai for a day I could see that it would be a real benefit in my life. The AI features take it to another level and make it feel like magic. No other tool has impressed me this much.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any downside so far after using it for around a month.

Organizing my research and helping me create and structure presentations.
Love using notion
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can organize so much stuff in there. I can embed live views of so many things. The templates are super handy. I love switching from my desktop to my iPad to my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little confusing when you first start using it. I feel like it took me a while to realize how I could get the most out of it. I'm definitely still learning even a year later but I know much more than before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm obsessed with notion ai. I love pulling action items out of meeting notes and the summarize option is so fantastic. I have a summary at the top of every meeting doc now so folks can see at a glance what was discussed
Great app to organise
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is really helpful when it comes to organizing my day to day life but also to redacting certain things. I can plan my essays on Notion and it made my life easier
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a bit tricky making it look as good as other people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organizing project with big group of people all in one place. It also saves me a lot of time thanks to the AI writing assistant. It gives me facts about things I need without me needing to look it up.

The different formats available to shape thoughts and ideas via font, layout, and style.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the collaborative limits and how you are not able to add other notion pages to your own and you have to "visit other notions" it seems to access projects.

Organization. It's helping me sort things in a cohesive way.
Honestly transformed me into a more organized person
What do you like best about the product?
I personally love being able to style my notes to make it more appealing. I find myself being able to cross off tasks from my to do lists this way. I also love being able to have nested documents so I can stay more organized based on days under my to do list, or trips under planning list! I also really enjoy being able to include code in my notes!
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally don't really like seeing a long list of things we can do when we open up a new document or the templates we can use. I think it is very helpful and would be for a new user, but maybe just having all of that in one place is enough for people to refer back to. I just think there's a lot of bloat when it comes to default templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion providing AI together with my favorite note taking space has truly saved me so much time. Especially when I'm in a crunch and have not figured it out by the time I wanted, I talk to the AI assistant to guide me to the correct solution. I do think that AI is not very accurate. I have asked it many questions and it's answered with tools/libraries that do not exist. I know there is a disclaimer about it not being very accurate, however, I would like to know that what I'm paying for is worth it. I have not really spent too much time asking it as much as I did before because of this, but I definitely think the note taking is amazing and it has made me become a better organized engineer! Everything is in one place.

Notion has a bigger learning curve than expected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Copyediting, writing improvement, writing summaries, improving language, grammar, spelling, and accuracy of research/data.
Pretty good way to keep things organize
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has been great for keeping lots of documents in an organized manner — it's much better than Google Docs. The AI interface is also really easy to use for things like blog writing and summarizing longer documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The table/spreadsheet feature is fine for only the most basic lists. If you want to do quick calculations or anything even slightly complex, you'll be going back to Google Sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion as a knowledge management system. It is a centralized source of truth for processes and note taking.
Notion as a guide for my way of living
What do you like best about the product?
I like how everything is customizable and that the interface is very pleasing to look at with the soft pastel colors for various applications. I am also quite pleased with how easy it is to add new photos without downloading and uploading them to the app separately. I have tried and failed to find an app or system which would help me track many aspects of my life, and I'm glad that I stumbled upon Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how slow it can be at times and how buggy it becomes whenever there are new updates implemented. Right now, I'm having problems with the heading sizes in the mono typeface because it keeps on reverting to the serif typeface whenever I use heading 2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped me track various aspects of my life, such as daily habits, exercising, and journaling. I've also used it as a timetable and task tracker for my internship.
Fantastic tool for someone who spends a good portion of their day in front of a computer.
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility, relational databases, the mobile application for quick notes or reference. Great for team collaboration, can be confusing for those new to this type of interface to get comfortable with vs a traditional microsoft or siloed progra like Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Relational databases do require you to have an idea of what you want before you build it, lack of a node or mind mapping tool that is integrated... Some ability to cross ref notes more easily similar to Obsidian.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used it several times to change the tone of a paragraph - I've also used it extensively to take notes and thoughts and have the AI generate outlines, summaries, etc. for me. It has also been a great tool for consolidating disparate information into a singular thought and narrowing it down into organized, well-written, text. (It is hard to justify $10/mo + paying for services like ChatGPT Plus when I get more usefulness out of general use vs the narrative editing with Notion AI.)
