Flexible and Efficient but Needs Better Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility that Notion allows, along with the ability to automate a lot of things and define workflows for myself and others. It lets me implement best practices of working, where knowledge is presented as needed. The customization options make it easy for me to report to stakeholders and management. As someone with systems architecture knowledge, I appreciate how Notion lets me build something quickly, efficiently, and in a way that meets my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer service is terrible. Also, their go-to-market strategy is pathetic because they force you to use licenses if you use multiple guests in your account, even though there is no such policy that you can't use it. I've had a terrible experience with customer service in the past. And there is also a lack of control of who gets to edit relations and database properties. We can't lock properties as we could probably in a more sophisticated system, but I think that's a trade-off of the flexibility that Notion provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for its flexibility in customizing workflows, allowing me to report easily to stakeholders. It also automates tasks, defines workflows, and implements best practices to present knowledge as required, enabling efficient and fast system building.
Simple, Clean UI with Effortless Drag-and-Drop Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is simple and clean. It’s easy to drag and drop when adding tasks and assigning them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sidebar navigation for multiple boards and other utilities can be organized into categories based on the groups they belong to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprint planning and managing task progress.
Dynamic Collaboration Tool with Some Lag
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as my product team's central source of truth, and it works really well for tracking ongoing projects and documenting everything about our products. I like that it's simple, intuitive, and it works. I'm really happy about its dynamic interfaces, which serve as an accessible repository of information. I like the Notion AI for building things and the way pages work, allowing for pages inside pages. It's pretty much an organizer's dream, and I love the fact that you can make databases, Gantt charts, timelines, and task boards out of nowhere. It's a great app with a lot of integrations, connections, and possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it's a bit laggy sometimes. Maybe we can have more AI integrations. I just wish it was easy to access features like transforming spoken ideas into templated pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as my product team's central source of truth. It solves the problem of having an accessible and dynamic repository of information, which works really well for tracking ongoing projects and product ideas. I'm happy with its effectiveness.
Versatile Content Management, Potential for Chaos
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it's very easy to create different types of data to be displayed. It's very useful to have a very flexible way of presenting information and also keeping track of things we are testing and such. It seems like a toolbox that everybody uses slightly differently, but it organizes data much better than, say, Google Docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes fishing around for the right document is quite difficult. I think part of this is Notion's proposition that you can organize your content in any way that you want, but it means that if nobody's on top of it, then things very quickly spiral out of control. The difficult part was scaling out and organizing all of the information once we hit a certain critical mass.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize thoughts and track what we've done. It’s a great tool for displaying information flexibly and organizes data better than Google Docs.

I think the layout could be improved.

Exceptional Visual Consistency for a Unified Internal Wiki with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
Notion provides exceptional visual consistency. Unlike fragmented tools where every dashboard looks different, Notion's block-based system allows us to create a unified "Brand Language" for our internal wiki that is both aesthetic and functional.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the desktop app is a10/10, the mobile experience needs improvement, especially for complex Kanban boards of multi-column layouts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion to solve "Tool Fatigue". Before Notion, our SOPs were in Google Docs, our tasks were in Asana, and our product roadmap was in a spreadsheet.
Centralized Dashboards, Easy Setup, But Lacks in Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface of Notion and how easy it is to embed links from other platforms. The integrations between different tools are great; we were able to create a landing page from a Notion project. It keeps information organized and centralized, so we don't need to bounce between Google Drive links. The initial setup was really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
We moved away from Notion for our project management capabilities, I think it could be stronger in that aspect. We can assign roles and set dates for tasks, but it isn't like another tool like Monday or Asana that shows all the outstanding tasks you have to work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps information organized and centralized, eliminating the need to bounce between Google Drive links.
A user-friendly tool to streamline project management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Notion. It's also convenient to be able to view it immediately from a URL. Additionally, when I started using Notion, it was easy to use right away. It also helps reduce management workload in project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is rarely heavy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for project management. It helps reduce management workload and is very convenient as it allows immediate access from a URL.
Notion has been a game changer in helping me organize my business and content ideas.
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is in one place and easily configurable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe too many features. I know I'm not using it to the best of my ability. I don't know what I don't know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am in the middle of creating a business, running a podcast, networking, getting speaking events, taking courses and tracking it all in a spreadsheet was not working. I need one place to house everything in a simple, digestable format and with automation built in.
