Organizing my life on sub-page at a time
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion to organize my academic life. I take my Notes on there, and organize them by dates / topics. I also love using it to hold databases and check off tasks I need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Notion had a feature that allowed you to highlight rows in tables. Sometimes, I want to highlight rows in my databases to highlight certain items but there is no feature for that currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Notion AI to help fill in gaps in my notes. If I need ideas on certain prompts, or need information on a historical figure, I found Notion AI to be a good starting point.
Been moving more and more of my personal and business workflow to notion this year
What do you like best about the product?
The AI integration has been a step ahead of competing solutions up to this point this year. It's been faster and more useful to be able to correlate my requests with memory of my page content. Additionally, it has pre-seed templates for basic tasks. Most of all, it is very fast compared to other GPT integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the things I either dislike or have been struggling with are: there was an initial period where the AI functionality just broke probably because of load/scaling. These have been resolved. However, a recent issue I've encountered is a peel back of some of the initial functionality. I used to be able to parse AI through attachments, and now it just refuses to open or derive content from attachments. Next, I've been unable to develop a consistent and fast workflow for setting up new pages. When I create a page, I inevitably end up tinkering with the icon, a manual process. And additionally, I have tried setting up database views, which seemed suitable for setting up similar context notes; however, it's challenging to manage and loses a lot of screen real estate from the nesting. In all the pros have been more important to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems I solve with notion is related to knowledge base, and information capture. I store thoughts, ideas, documents, photos, etc. In addition to this I rely on notion heavily with AI integration for ideation, learning and validation. This helps me get other perspectives on my thoughts, summarize and re-format my ideas etc.
My Personal Assistant - I named it “Buddy”
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build what I need and organize my notes have been great. It's my day to day tool to help keep all my projects organized and prioritized.
The recent AI addition has saved me tons of time in writing my daily newsletter I sent out to my readers and have helped improve my writing.
I also love how intricate the pages can be but also how simple it can be.
More recently I have been using the mobile app - and that's been great addition to my workflow.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to move away from Roam and use Notion for all my research. But the bilateral linking of roam is hard to beat.
Also sometimes my teammate would refer to Notion as the ocean. "Notion ocean". The improvements on search has been helpful.
If somehow I can spend less time organizing databases and such, that would be helpful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with multiple clients in multiple context. The ability to keep all the projects organize and create "focus" dashboard helps me to not lose efficiency of task switching.
Simple to use and everything I need in one place

The versatility. The UI and its intuitive design make it easy for me and my team to communicate a variety of work types all in one place. We have progress boards, calendars, 1-1s, roadmaps and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not super clear how to use the more complex features. I do not want to spend a lot of time learning Notion. I want to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me write all kinds of things. With AI and just the minimal design I am able to utilize it for blog posts, emails to stakeholders and write interview questions
Great experience with room for improvement

A pleasant experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like the clean UI design of the product. And it's nice to have a location where we can keep all of the task tracking, support pages, and internal product docs together.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's really easy to create sub pages and templates that contain sub pages. Because of the ease of nesting it makes it difficult to find pages that were generated through templates or just find sub pages or sub databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The inline ai writing assistant is amazing. It does a great job and creating a first draft for support pages, offer letters, and other official communication that requires a particular format and tone. We've taken a full transcript from our demo videos and given it to the writing assistant to the formulate into a support page. It's a super useful feature
Great App
What do you like best about the product?
The AI features have been extremely helpful fkr my student lifestyle. Brainstorming and quick writes are significantly easier. I used to use remnote and the only feature I like from their is flashcards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could use a calander for each workspace and it could transfer to Google calander or another calander. Also I would like you to add Flashcard features to the app.

Very Customizable Database and Workflow Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is extremely flexible and open with its application. It borders on a no-code app building solution because you can do so much. I love the way it's structured to make references to other databases and build pages within pages within pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tables are powerful, but so much less intuitive than Excel or Sheets. The interface for working within tables is kind of clunky and difficult to do repeat processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps our teams to keep everything in the same place for internal operations. The AI writing assistant gives me a quick way to generate content for advertisements, websites, social media...etc.
Notion is the best for keeping track of my academics.

Something that I don't like about Notion is that there is not many fonts options.
