Notion is clean, and amazing to work with a larger team
What do you like best about the product?
Its aesthetics. Notion is the best platform for organisation-obsessed people

Notion AI is usually the 1st thing to appear when searching for something and clicking enter

It includes all information we need in our team

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Notion is trying to be a "one-stop shop" so that teams don't have to context/tool switch as often throughout the day. The Notion AI feature has greatly reduced time to find information across the org. I appreciate how customizable and flexible the platform is and that it can be used in a variety of use cases. Customer support is solid for small bugs, as they're generally quick to respond. My customer support rep has been helpful and was able to connect me to the Product team for a feedback session.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like there are a lot of ideas and good directions, but things never quite get to 100% complete, which means, as customers, we continually have to find "workaround" solutions. If there's a Notion update that then allows for some of the workarounds to be deprecated, there isn't usually a great way to transition off one solution to the next without massive manual work, which can be frustrating. Our customer rep had some good recommendations for us on some of our setup, but again, they require massive amounts of manual work for what is realistically a small change in the grand scheme. The suggestion was for us to hire an external consultant to do the work for us, which was frankly a little frustrating. It shouldn't be so difficult to shift approaches, in a tool that was meant to be flexible, that it requires hiring a consultant.
The project management features, in particular, feel pretty half-baked still. Automations, while getting better, still require a lot of Notion-specific syntax experience to work correctly. Often the RIO of investing time to make the automation work ultimately doesn't save enough time to justify not just doing it manually. Database templates still don't inherently work correctly for project databases and haven't for at least 2 years. The fact that the task database creates an empty page for every task and subtask is painful and can cause loading issues as databases get larger.
A lot of Notion AI features have been teased for a while without any real updates (i.e, I first heard about the Salesforce and Zendesk integrations about a year ago, they just got announced as "coming soon", but my rep still can't give me even a quarter ETA to expect the release).
Page analytics rolled out and never went anywhere else despite having plenty of improvement options. Responses for anything that have to be taken to the Eng team seem to end up in a black hole and never get resolved or updated.

Being able to search in one place across all of our tools is beneficial. Having a centralized place to put our knowledge for each functional team is useful. It's currently solving our need for a project management solution, but wouldn't necessarily recommend that to others.

The most helpful is the pages and the easiness to create something new. How easy is to organize everything

What I dont like are the tables and data sets. I tend to go to google sheets everytime I need to look at data sets.

It helps since it keep stuff organize. Notion AI helps me write pages and help me analyze my data.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI is crucial - I am in sales and need answers on the fly, and I can get them from internal docs and info synced with Notion. So easy to use and keeps me from bothering managers and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I can randomly edit dashboards and articles within Notion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of access and answers when we have so much internal documentation > Notion combs through all of it quickly and easily. Essential to my work.
I can't imagine running my business without Notion.

I love it that it allows me to do so many different types of formatting all in one program. I can add images, links, pages, charts, videos, checklists, and whatever else I need.

There was a pretty high learning curve initially when I started using the software.

Notion helps me write social media captions for my business all the time. It's one of my favorite features, and it's so easy to keep the information organized on a calendar for posting once AI helps me write it.

It’s like you have to go through a hard time to understand it but it gets easier with time and practice

It solves the problem of organizing many things in one app
Use for training, product updates and an easy to access way of finding product information

It is easy to use and easy to find information. I like the formatting/layout of pages and information

Our hierarchy is a little funky and could use improvement. Also, a number of pages are updates (though I like that we can tag who is responsible for updating)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is my first time using Notion as I worked for the government before, but I like that it is an easy way to access and find information without having to sleuth through documents

Notion provides an excellent way of organising academic notes, especially within modules

Occasionally formatting issues can interrupt workflow

Using its AI chatbot allows for the generated text to draw from my own content, ensuring it flows with my work.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion makes it so easy to get organized and to find all of our company data. I use it daily to keep track of my work and use notion mail to automatically label my e-mails in gmail. It was very easy to set up though the UI takes a bit of getting used to if you're not familiar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like notion AI to survey database content better! The AI autofill is incredibly useful, but I often encounter roadblocks when trying to use the AI chat to better understand a database.

I can quickly and reliably find company information accross all platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
The notion is very power and provide many different type of view. You can build the workflow and the knowledge which aligned how you think. The AI function is powerful which can lead you easy to organize and search.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notion is very powerful and which also make it hard to learn or make newbie don't know how to start. Notion can share more example or workshop which can help people to build their own "Notion".
