Invaluable for Non Profit Communications Team

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Keeping all our work organized, easy to access, and synced across the team is indispensable. We can also query Notion AI for our latest figures and impact stats.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish it felt a bit more like native software and less like we were working in a browser of sorts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the task and the finished piece in the same place. Now more keeping ideas in one place, tasks in another, and finished work somewhere else.

An exceptional tool for internal knowledge and helping to fill our Due Dilligence

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion's AI is a god-send. Our organisation has information in so many disparate parts that getting a holistic view of it is incredibly difficult. Notions AI allows us to collate all of this and get accurate responses to questions that otherwise would involve me trawling through google drive, slack, or other Notion pages to find.

When doing due diligence I can ask the question within Notion AI and mostly get an answer I would be happy sending to the prospect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to utilise AI within pages would be quite useful. For example I have been told that theoretically you can create a table in Notion that when a question is input, the column beside it will create an answer. This would allow us to input entire DD questionnaires into Notion and have it populate it with answers.

Additionally, the markdown in some AI answers is quite inconsistent. Minor issue, but it does make it a little annoying having to edit the answers for consistent formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information is disparate in our organisation. It is kept in many different places and there is not a lot of will to collate all of it in one place. With NotionAI we don't have to worry about this as it will scan all information sources and give us a high quality answer that otherwise would have involved me going through multiple information sources. This has saved me hours on doing due dilligence's and allows me to focus my time more on useful work.

Versatile and Intuitive, Yet Room for UX Improvements

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion mainly for managing a knowledge database and have recently started using it for task management as well. I love how Notion is built like a brain, or at least like my brain, which makes organizing information intuitive and personalized. The high rotation of employees in my organization is a challenge, but the knowledge database feature ensures continuity and consistency over time. I also appreciate the availability of keyboard shortcuts, which streamline my workflow and make navigation quick and efficient. Additionally, I'm thrilled that Notion provides form services, which were a major reason for switching from Tally forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the desktop app to be quite slow on my computer, which has low RAM, causing performance issues. I also dislike that the full width view is not the default setting for pages, and there is no option to set it as the default for the entire organization, hindering customization. The learning curve is steep, and I'd appreciate a more user-friendly experience for first-time users, specifically by allowing shared default settings for an entire workspace. Additionally, I find that the image preview functionality is inadequate, as it takes a considerable amount of time for images to load. Moreover, the integrations appear nebulous and are challenging to utilize effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage a knowledge database, ensuring continuity amidst high employee turnover. It organizes tasks efficiently, mimicking my thought process, though initial setup is ongoing with some formula headaches.

Notion for an early days start up

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how many options there are for project management. It seems to have combined all the main project management apps in one place and integrates very well with current workflows. It has been great for managing the company and for planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many options which is great, but there also seems to be a very steep learning curve and a lot that you need to know how to do to be able to use 100% of it's potential. It would be great if there is better training/intro in the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me keep all our records and planning in one place.

Essential part of my tech stack!

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is my core notetaker. I use it daily when planning, ideating and strategising.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit of a learning curve to start with as the UI/UX is so unique to other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Google Drive as the base of our tech stack, and whilst it is an incredible piece of software, searching through documents and writing up big documents or notes is not as easy as on Notion. Having the ability to store huge amounts of information within one page and link everything together like a no-code webpage is incredibly powerful for us. And, the ability to now integrate a powerful AI tool into this is really helpful.
