Very Intuitive App
What do you like best about the product?
The unlimited databases I can create with Notion. I love how I can be as creative with my organization and customize it to my preference and style! I truly appreciate that it's free for personal use and we still have the option to upgrade it to really utilize all of its features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have anything wrong to say about Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me with organizing all of my thoughts as well as keeping log of my work progress. The apps intuitiveness have allowed me to be more productive and effective with my job.
Innovative Way to Manage Your Busy Schedule
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to be detailed when creating events or tasks. The check list helps me feel productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an archive option where I don't have to delete content I once created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a platform where I can create, delegate, and manage tasks while being able to collaborate with other co-workers.
I'm a fan of notion, but want to share some gripes
What do you like best about the product?
The custom blocks are extremely helpful. I love that I can add an inline database to pages and keep track of items with various types of fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want more support for visual content. The Miro integration is severely lacking. The fact that I have to click a miro board in order for it to load is a barrier to using it effectively. The charts, mindmaps, and other visual content integrations should be much richer. Is it possible to prefetch these resources and/or cache them so it's ready to view and edit when I open the page?
For the databases, I don't like that there is a single column that is not deletable. This can be done better, and often times I don't want to have the default column visable.
Also, the AI feature is limited but has potential. I will expand on that in the specific section.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has a certain i-don't-know-what, but is far better than alternatives. I think it comes down to the much richer types of content blocks on offer. I don't like how the layout is limited to single-column though; I wish there were alternative layouts or something more flexible.
AI Features
The AI feature is not headed in the right direction. I purchased it almost as soon as it was available. I like the user experience, as in being able to query the assistant about selected text or about the document in general. I think it should be clearer that you can use it to generate notion blocks, instead of just plain text. I also don't like how it discourages users from asking it off-topic questions, that really hurts my workflow. I don't use it as a writing assistant, but more as a research assistant to fact-check my writing, look up similar content, and generate notes when I'm having trouble learning something. Also, there are many times when mathematical expressions are generated. It would be amazing if these were automatically inserted as KaTeX-formatted expressions.
The assistant REALLY shouldn't be refusing to answer questions when it doesn't see a connection to the document. This limits the utility and increases friction for an otherwise useful feature. I don't want to always force it to generate useful content for me by saying "do it anyway."
If you want to reach out to me for a customer development interview, I would love to try and schedule something. I've been a champion to friends and coworkers for notion for almost 4 years now and would love to help make it a better product for others.
Other Problems
It's really annoying that my place in the document isn't persisted, especially on mobile. I have long lists of book notes, and will have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page each time I open it in order to continue adding notes. This is a really annoying anti-feature and would love for it to be fixed.

Notion has been an amazing help!
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has helped me so much in my business by helping me create content for social media, blog posts and so much more. When I'm stuck or need ideas Notion always come through for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I think could be improved is Notion being able to understand the prompts better. I understand that AI is still a new thing. That being said, there is a bit of a learning curve for the prompts. One other thing that I think would be cool is if Notion could learn how you speak. Like how you normally do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has helped me be able to create a large amount of social media content in such a short amount of time. That is a huge time saver for me, while also helping brainstorm idas when I am stuck. Like I'll have an idea of what I want to talk about but Notion just helps fill in the gaps that sometimes we all need.
Notion is a life-changing software.
What do you like best about the product?
To optimize is to customize. By being able to custom-build databases, managing projects becomes attainable and is more streamlined than other project management softwares.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion has a relatively long onboarding process for others to become fully capable of using the software. However, using notion is very intuitive and with practice becomes competency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves organization by removing a fixed file structure. Being able to link databases and pages together makes much more sense ergonomically than requiring solely files within folders.
Productivity tool
What do you like best about the product?
Reviewing documents. Friendly user interface
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reviewing, formatting, and AI assistance with tools to assess the documents.

Although I use other tools for thought, Notion and Roam Research are my day to day 👌
Notion's database functionality, super clean UI and AI is amazing.

Notion's database functionality, super clean UI and AI is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Roam has a bunch of independent developers making extensions for it which mean it's very powerful for pulling data in from other platforms via API. For example, changing my daily Google calendar entries into TODOs in a daily notes page is one of the main reasons I'm not exclusively using Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion nearly solves the problem of the "all data and information in one space" system that those of us who understand the concept of tools for thought and knowledge work have wanted (and seen as a possibility) for well over a decade.
The new AI functionality means I can type completely in the flow without having to stop to think about whether or what I'm writing will make sense to read back. It shortens the gap between getting things out of my brain and onto page, then simply right-clicking in Notion and using AI to correct means that I can maintain flow and it make sense without me having to self-edit.

Amazing Workspace Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Having dashboards for everything makes collaboration easy while allowing me to have private boards for my work. Being able to import or link other boards means everything is cohesive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish things could be color-coded better and there were more ways to filter or sort boards. It can also be annoying to type a comment on a task only to realize that it was never sent because there is no clear difference between sent comments and drafted comments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am our company's social media manager. Notion's AI Writing Assistant has made drafting and writing content such as captions so much easier! It is game changing.
Would highly recommend this to any student
What do you like best about the product?
How easy to use it is and how many great features it has. I've already recommended it to a lot of friends and since being introduced to it I feel like my studying has improved and my personal life has become much easier to organise and keep track of. Everything is in one place, it's great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find the 'Help' feature, even after downloading the Notion app on my laptop which is what it recommended to do on the website, however I still did not find it. So I've had to email Notion instead which is a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making my work faster and things like sending professional emails easier. Also checking my work for grammar mistakes.
Easy to use, navigate, and create with

It's been really slow and glitchy lately
