What do you like best about the product?
I can't even begin to say how much Notion has helped me in my social media work. from planning content, to copywriting, and searching for ideas.. it does it all - and within 1-2 seconds!!! it beats chatgpt in terms of speed. it's the best thing i've ever invested in and so incredibly grateful.
What do you dislike about the product?
that it can't help me search for images, craft memes that's trending on social media. it's not very up to date with trending topics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the AI helps me save time searching the web. it gives me lots of content ideas and helps me when i'm packed for time or too tired to write/plan.
The Versatile Diary
What do you like best about the product?
I love how versatile the product is. I think that's one of the strongest selling point for the product and with AI it only gets better. Notion is so good I in fact cannot think of a competitor that's better than Notion because I had a use case that no other products really offered, and when I asked my colleagues Notion was the first thing they suggested.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate the search experience, I mean it's fast but the text based search doesn't really sometimes show the files that I am looking for. And also the sidebar gets really noisy after a while because there are so many docs in our org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a software engineer, we need to write a lot of documentation to onboard other developers or newbees in our organisation. The fact that I have the quick ease of sharing any file/images/videos in a high quality text format is just what keeps me satisfied as a user of Notion.
AI Writing Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is really easy to use, takes a bit of time to learn in the beginning but once you know how you can create so much out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
More shortcuts on the keyboard to create different formats, for example, to create a checkbox from /c instead of / and clicking to the bottom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for my content planning/writing, I like how after planning I don't need to go to another site to proof it again. The tone in Notion is also more casual (more human-like) than Chat GBT.
Extremely Friendly AI
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI is a very easy-to-use assistant. I've used it to write emails, comment code, schedule my week, and it has improved my life significantly. That's what I like best.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes times out, and you're unable to use it. However, that is often solved very quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm currently learning to code, and Notion has made the process significantly easier. Why? Because it lets me have all my lessons, reviews, and coding prompts organized. Besides, Notion AI helps me understand my lessons better.
Positivity and optimism
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is much better than Notes I have used for years to handle my information: work, personal or family. Intuitive UI powered functionality. Pretty good synchronization due to different devices and linking through various applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Please do the desktop application for MacBook. It is not convenient to use browsers and windows. Maybe better to try simplify the UI from the functional point of view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the AI assistant feature for different purposes, writing emails, greetings, meeting minutes, improving text for functional specifications and storing information.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how versitle Notion is, especially like using the dropdown feature. I love how there are code specific blocks especially when I'm on a computer science degree. I found this especially helpful in lecture notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easily intergrated with other existing software. I find that it automatically changes formats of links differently each time. When I first used Notion it did not have the option to have the application as a start up so that the application opens everytime I open my laptop. I think this would be a good feature to incorperate? I acknowledge that this may have been remedied but I had to do this manually and I doubt many people would know how to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the start of each University Term I used to set up specific pages for each subject and have all the information about the subject in that one page. This very helpful when it came to organising myself and making sure that I'm on top of my work. AI Writing Assistant is very helpful when making custom templates. In a business setting we have used it to keep track of other people's progress through their assigned tasks.

The new AI features that notion have introduced gives a head start to prepare a document or brain storm initial thoughts which are really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Copying experience, when I copy something it sometimes replace the whole text kind of frustrating for me.

I use Notion daily for almost everything. Its neat design, flexibility, and user-friendly interface are its main advantages. I appreciate that Notion understands markdown syntax and offers a variety of shortcuts. As a scientist who speaks English fluently but has Russian as a first language, I often write English-language articles and technical documentation, but I struggle with a limited vocabulary and make several mistakes.

I appreciate how the "improve writing" feature works. It balances rewriting my text with keeping my own writing style. It also corrects almost all grammar and spelling mistakes. The price for this feature is also pleasant; it is cheaper than Grammarly or Quill Bot but offers more possibilities.

What do you dislike about the product?
One issue I frequently encounter is the inability to access data offline. Despite being constantly connected to the web, there are still times when I work in areas with limited data. During these moments, I have to switch to alternatives such as Obsidian. Additionally, I have found that the Notion Windows app operates very slowly. Sometimes, it is easier and faster to open the Notion website in a browser rather than using the standalone app. One more frustrating thing is the inability to import HTML-styled text as it is possible in Obsidian.
Regarding Notion AI, I dislike that it has no API. I would like to use Notion AI in mail apps like Outlook or Gmail while I am creating emails.

As a scientist who is fluent in English but has Russian as a first language, I often write English-language articles and technical documentation, but I struggle with a limited vocabulary and make several mistakes. Therefore, I am rechecking almost all my texts with Notion AI's "improve writing" feature. Sometimes I need to make my texts shorter or summarize someone's findings.
A great product for early-stage startups.
What do you like best about the product?
We love the flexibility of using Notion for our wiki, CRM, and client-facing deliverables. The ability to organize and operationalize as we see fit, without unnecessary limitations, is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that could be improved would be the in-app help functionality. If I need to know how to do something it'd be great if I could click into a help bot right within the Notion app.

We are using it for two main purposes - the first is internally keeping track of how we develop our business, and the flexibility of Notion is great for the exploratory phase that our business is in.
