I'm falling more and more in love with Notion.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Notion is its database feature, which I use to organize almost every aspect of my life. I'm also a big fan of the new AI feature, which helps me with writing tasks such as this text.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that the mobile application, especially the one for iPads, still needs improvement. Additionally, I would like Notion to add Vim shortcuts to make text editing more efficient. Finally, sharing databases with other people can be difficult at times. It would be great if Notion found a way for users to share only some portions of the databases, not all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of having an unstructured database by providing a structured database to store everything. It can be thought of as a second brain. Additionally, it is a great tool for writing and tailoring text with the help of the AI assistant.

What do you like best about the product?
Database-driven and very organized. There are Many different ways to visual the same information and filter through information. 10/10 for notetaking/shopping lists and more
What do you dislike about the product?
Wifi based and no ability to back up your data to hard drives on personal, offline computers. This has prevented me from moving more of my life to notion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating copy via the AI writing assistant at a low-flat rate has been helpful. Daily writing email is a huge help when I have brain fog or just trying to find the right words.
Notion keeps me organized and moving forward.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion allows me to get a good feel for where I'm at with a project. I can nest ideas inside of other ideas with little visual cues in the form of emojis that go next to every topic I'm focusing on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that the current permissions system is lacking in customizability. If it were more flexible, the database would be a comprehensive solution for all my needs. At the moment, I am forced to share an entire database with anyone who accesses even one part of a table. Additionally, the text editing features could use improvement. Specifically, I wish there was a simple option to export data into a standard 8.5 x 11" sheet. While it is true that we live in a digital age, there have been instances where I have needed to print information. Therefore, it would be helpful to have printing options available or at least the ability to export individual subheadings as PDFs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get a lot of value in the features Notion offers, particularly when it comes to outlining. One of the things I appreciate most is the drop-down menus, which make it easy to navigate my content. This is especially helpful when I'm working on longer pieces, as it allows me to keep my thoughts organized and easily accessible. Notion's visual approach toorganization also helps me to explore my ideas and identify connections between different elements of my work.
In addition to the outlining features, I find the ability to create "buckets" for pending writing items to be incredibly useful. This allows me to keep track of tasks that need to be completed without cluttering up my main workspace. By having a designated space for pending items, I can stay focused on my current task without losing sight of what needs to be done next.

What do you like best about the product?
I can just put EVRYTHING in one place - it is easy to manage and navigate. Instead of needing multiple tabs for everything to be organized, I can have it all in one place. It really takes my organization to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of time to get used to all the possibilities, and the names aren't always the clearest, but when you look at templates and what other people are doing, it helps to give you an idea of what is possible. It just takes a bit of trial and error to play with and figure things out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed one place where I could have all of my projects, notes, ideas and calendar so I could organize things by themes and projects rather than needing to separate them in every software I use. Now it's all in one place and I can easily find what I need. The platform can hold images, links, lists, calendars, and much more, making it complete to use for complex projects.

Its simplicity, yet complex functions. You can build anything you want in its documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the databases take too long to load. I have found it glitchy at times but like 98% of the time its working fine!

the fact that it is unique. i've been using many other apps similar but always switched until i found notion. it is very customizable and perfect for many purposes. it works on all my devices and it updates everywhere
What do you dislike about the product?
i would add a section where you let the users make their own plugins and add some customizable shortcuts. for example when i try to highlight with a shortcut ctrl+shift+h it is a bit hard and i would like a shortcut for each colour.

the ai is simply amazing. it always give me the answer i want. and i prefer this ai over chat gpt because of the structure of the response. for my notes , notion is simply wow and it is helping to revise a lot

Notion has made productivity extremely simple. The ease of use is incredible. I love to rave about it. The slashes to add elements and the simplicity is marvellous.

So Notion makes productivity extremely simple. It has made me at least 4X more productive. It is a marvellous tool. I'm going to use it forever. It increases performance a lot.

It has a very nice UI/UX design; it's very simple and intuitive, and I can divide my notes into more sections that are designed in a hierarchal way

There are a few aspects of Notion that I find less than ideal. One of the main issues I have experienced is the occasional slow performance of the web version. This can be particularly frustrating when I am trying to access my notes or study materials quickly, especially during time-sensitive situations, such as exam preparation.
Another concern is the initial learning curve associated with mastering Notion's features. While the platform is incredibly powerful and customizable, it can be somewhat overwhelming for new users. It took me some time and effort to fully understand and utilize the platform's potential, which may be discouraging for some medical students who are already under considerable academic pressure.

Primarily, it has addressed my need for a centralized platform to organize my class notes, study materials, research articles, and deadlines. Notion organizes everything that happens within our workflow. Everyone has their own private pages and the shared pages so it can streamline work.
